Cat Sitting in El Cerrito

Kate was so wonderful with our sweet girl Minnie! We really appreciated the timely updates and thorough, professional communication. We know our home is in great hands and we look forward to working with Kate again in the future.

Our cat is very shy and cat sitters barely see him when doing check-ins. Somehow Rebecca gained his trust on the second day and he was comfortable being approached and pet. It made us feel better being away knowing that our cat wasn’t hiding the whole time we were gone. I’d definitely reach out to Rebecca again in the future.

Josephine takes excellent care of our kitty, leaves everything as clean or cleaner than before, is extremely responsive and flexible. And she sends great pictures of the cat playing and having a good time!

Great sitter, our kitties were well taken care of! Phuong was friendly, punctual, followed our instructions, and sent pics and an update everyday, which is great to see while away from our fur babies. :) Would definitely rebook, thank you!

Rachel was wonderful! She quickly learned each kitty's unique personality and made sure they felt comfortable and cared for. For example, she took extra time with our shy cat, helping them warm up to her. Rachel regularly sent stories and photos, which reassured us and kept us connected while we were away. She even took the initiative to set up new kitty water bowl items we had ordered, making the environment more enjoyable for our pets. Thanks to her attentiveness and proactive approach, we felt completely at ease. I highly recommend Rachel and will definitely reach out to her again.

Nastasia is an amazing sitter! I have two cats and one is a bit “spicy” and she went above and beyond, spending extra time and visiting prior to help him feel more comfortable. She is super sweet and sent me pictures and even a video of my kitties! I could relax on my trip, knowing my cats were in excellent caring hands. I couldn’t recommend her more!

Pooya is a wonderful and gentle person and we know we can trust him with our cat and house while we travel. Our cat is old and generally very standoffish with everyone but has warmed up to Pooya.

In short: Petsitting: EXCELLENT. Housesitting: EXCELLENT. We have an elderly cat with end stage kidney failure that is in her final months, and we were super anxious about going on vacation. Laurena put us at ease and was willing to learn how to do our cats necessary medical procedures (twice-daily subcutaneous fluid injections), navigate her finicky diet and eccentricities, and also look after our chinchilla for the 5 days we were out of the country. She is kind, gentle, flexible, communicative, and reassuring. She took immaculate care of our house and left it neater than when we left it (we tried to clean and leave our house neat and orderly for her before we left but somehow she upstaged us!). She sent daily photo and video updates complete with humorous commentary. I felt so secure having Laurena on duty for our fur babies and am grateful we found her. Thank you Laurena!

Mason is great. Hire him! Kind and considerate. He and his significant other can work as a team and devote themselves to doing good work for their clients.

It really eased my mind having Alexandra come to my house. I could tell when she came to meet me before I left that she understands and loves cats and my most perfect Charlie would be safe. The communication was good and when I returned my cat was calm and all was well. I also knew my house would be safe.

Melissa is a great cat sitter. She clearly cares a lot about animals and has an intuitive sense of caring for them. She rolled with the punches taking care of my indoor/outdoor cat, which comes with some quirks. She was always on time; and always very communicative. I’d feel great leaving her in charge of friendly again!
