Dog Boarding in Emeryville

Danielle and Joel took excellent care of our dog Cooper while we were away for the weekend. They took him on long walks and played games with him, which he loved! We received multiple photos and videos throughout the weekend. We could relax and enjoy our trip knowing that Cooper was well cared for. We would 100% board Cooper with Danielle again.

Karen and Hisako were the absolute best dog sitters for Augustus, my basset hound! It was so obvious from their updates that they were loving hosting him and enjoying daily adventures together. I think all pet owners love to feel that their furry friends are in a loving home while theyre travelling, and with Karen and Hisako, you definitely get that assurance. Augustus already misses his "Japanese aunties!"

Lulu had the time of her life staying with Robert and Brian. They were very communicative, sending pictures of Lulu enjoying her stay and getting lots of love. They were clearly very attentive to her needs and really enjoyed having her. Lulu will be thrilled when she gets to visit them again!

They provided lots of cute pictures and Baxter looked to be having a great time! There were some other dogs to keep Baxter some company and help with socialization. They were easy to get in contact with and I trust that they cared for him while I was away.

Isaac and Jordan are the perfect sitters! They took amazing care of my dog and kept me updated with pictures. My little guy has anxiety and he was met with lots of love and extra cuddles. I came home to a well-cared-for, relaxed dog, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the excellent service.

Pat and Tim took really great care of our dog Bailey! She got sick while we were away but they took great care of her and sent us detailed updates so we didn't worry. She got plenty of walks and clearly misses them and Coco!

I had a weekend trip planned and sadly family and friends couldn't sit Aggie, though was recommended by a friend to try Rover. So with about a week before the trip, I wanted to find a neighbor that was communicative, responsive, had and has current experience with dogs, and is familiar with dog sitting. On a brief search, I found Marlene and Marlene's mom with lots of positive reviews and close by to me! I reached out, checked in a bit, and made arrangements for a pre-dog sit meeting for everyone to meet one another which gave me peace of mind. Marlene was responsive, communicative, and thoughtful. I appreciated the photos Marlene sent me during the weekend. Aggie's an older foster dog, and Marlene was quick to share some questions and concerns which we were able to figure out together on a brief phone call which I really appreciated. I'm new to Rover, and our conversation helped me to be communicative about Aggie's conditions as an elder dog, reassure Marlene, and to update Aggie's profile. I was happy to see Aggie when I picked her up and Marlene and Marlene's mom were very kind, thoughtful, and open about sharing the latest of Aggie's conditions. If you're in the east bay/Berkeley/Oakland/Emeryville area, I recommend Marlene and Marlene's mom!!

Karen is amazing!!! I never worry about anything when my pup stays at their place. Maya always has soo much fun, is well exercised/played with, and is so calm and relaxed when I pick her up. Highly recommend!

Mariola's the best. Can't recommend her highly enough. Took wonderful care of our old girl while we were gone. Sent daily updates with photos.

This was my second time having Joanna watch my pit mix and I again felt super comfortable leaving my girl with her for the weekend. Her home is well suited to dogs and she’s very easy to communicate with to coordinate pick up/drop off as well as sending updates throughout. Will definitely book again!

Albina did a great job taking care of our quirky new pup when we had to go out of town for a few days. Highly recommend her as someone kind, calm, reliable, and adaptable.

Our pup came home smiling and tuckered. Alexandra was so great and super flexible. We definitely hope she will be available if we need her again!

Puffy had another amazing stay with Tara! This was the longest I ever left him with a sitter so I was definitely nervous, but Tara made me feel so at ease. She sent me pictures throughout the stay. Puffy looked like was having a blast which made me feel less anxious! So thankful to have found Tara!

Mary is hands down the best dogsitter we’ve ever had. She’s just so kind and thoughtful, and treats our dog as if he was her own! Our pup has some special needs (tube fed!) that make him quite challenging to care for, despite his sweet demeanor, and she handles it all with grace. She’s super communicative, asks all the right questions, sends adorable pics, and is just downright understanding of our tough situation. You’re making a mistake if you don’t book her!!

Aubrey had a great time with Latricia! I was enthused at her joy and care for dogs. He will definitely stay with her from here on out! Thanks!

Megan and Jenny are the best!! They take such good care of Kiko and we love that he always has friends to play with! Also their communication is outstanding!

Ellie and Jurre are so amazing. We felt so comfortable leaving our pets with them knowing they would be in such good hands. They really went above and beyond to care for them and make them feel at home. We really appreciate all the effort they put into everything.

So happy to have found Lee! This was first time using Rover and felt like my little dude was always in good hands. I loved how there were other dogs for my dog to play with, her house was super dog friendly and she provided us with updates. I would def recommend Lee.

Keara was super professional. She scheduled a meet and great ahead of time to make sure my dog was comfortable and asked thoughtful questions about her care. My dog seemed to love playing with her and I appreciated the photos and video of her stay :). Thanks, Keara!

Ben and his family are incredible! My dog Ranger is usually a little anxious in a new environment, so it's such a wonderful feeling knowing that he was both cared for and loved during his stay. Thank you all so much and we hope Ranger can stay with you again during our next trip!
