Dog Walking in Emeryville

This was our first experience with Rover and we really lucked out with Kirsten. Our 8 year-old dog, and two 17 year-old cats have become quite high maintenance over the past couple of years. We usually have family care for them while we're on vacation, but this time the whole family went with us. Kirsten responded quickly to our booking request and assured us that she was up for the task of caring for our needy brood. She started out walking our dog 3 times/week for two weeks and was always communicative and prompt. Our dog doesn't like everyone that comes to our house, but he warmed up to Kirsten quickly and by week 2 he was sitting on her lap and licking her face. He also has some chronic issues that required Kirsten wash and diaper him after each walk. She did it willingly and never complained about the extra work. She also handled the cat litter box cleaning and the feeding of our geriatric cats that have to eat separately. Kirsten sent us regular updates with photos and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our vacation knowing our pets were being cared for by someone so attentive. We hope that Kirsten is available the next time we need a pet-sitter!

Matt has been super accommodating to us. Our sometimes skiddish half Doberman has quickly taken to walks with him. He is reliable and a good communicator. So glad we found him!

Jes was super flexible with our weekly walk when I got sick and had to reschedule. Jes has been super patient with my pup who is skeptical of being walked by people other than me and it’s paid off. It’s great to see my dog’s confidence grow and to know I can count on Jes for help when I need it.

John was very friendly, arrived on time and prepared with his own treats and poop bags, and took really good care of my special furry baby! Took some nice pics from the walk too. Would recommend.

Amazing! She was very caring and considerate and my dog can be shy and protective. She stepped up to the challenge and won over my dog. Highly recommend!

Oakley has improved so much since walking with Zoey. She has more pep in her step and is a happy girl every time she comes back from her walks. Zoey takes the best photos and gives the doggos perfect adventures.
