House Sitting in Fort Romie

Danae was very good with communication. She came prepared to spend time with Rusty, not just rush off.

We had to leave unexpectedly for over a week and our 2 regular dogsitters were unavailable. We have multiple dogs and cats, including a 160-pound Great Dane. We were lucky to find Sophia on Rover. We met her in-person hours later and we (and our managerie) liked her. She came to stay in our home a few hours later. Sophia did a wonderful, though not perfect job, (she missed walks on a couple of days), of watching our home and animals. Our dogs clearly love her, she administered our Dane's medicines correctly, sent us pics of their walks, brought in mail, and we were able to attend to an out-of-country funeral with no worries about our dogs, cats or home. She gave us peace of mind. We came home late, but she stayed and waited. She was very friendly and respectful...and our home was left spotless. We highly recommend her and would use her again.

Sara is great with Dakota and Dakota enjoyed the company! This is my first time having to use a pet sitter while being out of town for work so I was hesitant at first, but Sara eased the nerves and will definitely be asking Sara to watch Dakota again in the future.

Valery is fantastic! I could tell immediately when I met her that she loves what she does! Throughout her stay with Bear, she kept us updated and sent photos. I highly recommend her to care for your pets and home while you are away!

Oscar was great! We were a little nervous to leave our blind dog with a new person, but he really set our minds at ease. She and our home were really well cared for — We will definitely be booking Oscar again!

Thank you Jawharrah for your gentle loving care of our “old boy” Tochi. His behavior since we returned on Monday made it quite clear he spent his weekend in good company. And speaking of company … thank you, Rover, for finding quality care givers like Jawharrah. We would not have been able to travel 3,000 miles from home for the family wedding without the knowledge and confidence that our 12 year old canine champion would be in good hands. Well done. Taryn was amazing! She took care of our Pomeranian dog Sunny at our hotel while we visited Monterey. She was so sweet with Sunny, she was always on time, and gave us lots of local advice to make our family trip easier. She really helped us so much since so many activities we wanted to do didn't allow dogs. We wish she was in our town, but we hope to visit Monterey again. Thank you so much Taryn!

Greta is not only an incredible pet/house sitter, she is just a wonderful human being. She’s timely, communicative, kind, and a true lover of animals. We just got back from a trip and came home to an immaculate house and very happy pup. She is our new go to, for sure!

Jacqueline was incredible with our puppy! She sent multiple detailed updates a day letting us know all the fun activities she and Drax went, including pictures each time! And even went as far as to practice training drills with him a few times a day to keep him grounded and focused while we were away! She’s definitely one I will be reaching out to again in the future! 10 out of 10 forsure!!!

Mari was so helpful to us during our stay at a dog-friendly resort in Big Sur. She allowed my partner and I to take in the beauty of our surroundings while offering Andrew such a pleasant and enriching experience. Sh was patient with our little buddy and offered helpful training trips at the end of our time with her. Would recommend to anyone.

Bryn did a great job of taking care of our dog and cat. She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures. We will definitely be using her again.
