House Sitting in Green

Susan is absolutely the best dog sitter we have ever had. We have a anxiety-ridden Border Collie mix named Farley who usually takes a long time to build trust with. Susan was incredibly patient with Farley. She spent considerable time playing fetch, giving him treats, ignoring him when he barked at her, until they (to our surprise) became best friends. Now Farley looks forward to Susan’s visits, which is huge for us because we were essentially on pseudo house arrest until she came into the picture! Can’t recommend Susan enough. P.S. She’s also a great house sitter.

Karyna was requested last minute to care for our dog and was able to accommodate our needs. She is very responsive and communicative while sitting. We were so pleased with her excellent care she took care of our dog making being away from home so much easier for me. We will definitely be booking her again in the near future.

María was caring and sweet with our two very different need dogs. She played with our young German shepherd puppy and made sure our old man got his meds and plenty of love. Both dogs were peaceful and well adjusted when we returned home and we are still grateful!

Lance was great with my 13yo pup. He made sure he was very clear on the schedule for all of her medications, andsent me lots of photos and videos. He even went out of his way to make sure there were clean sheets on the guest bed for my mom when we got back. Will definitely use him again.

Joel is part of our family. As Loki's uncle, he always takes great care of him, see our previous reviews! We've booked Joel twice already for next year, and about to book him for a 3 week stay next October. Also, he had more to deal with this trip including donut collar, and a mysterious beeping in our house! Both of which he dealt with, with great communications and his usual calm professionalism. He's the only guy we want taking care of Loki, the most important member of our family.

We have had a few pet sitters from Rover, but Christina gives me such peace of mind that my pets are in good, caring hands. Christina cares for our pets as if they are her own-- what more could you want from a sitter? She sent us regular updates with photos and took care of several random things that happened to come up during her stay (a dryer delivery, pest control, multiple deliveries, etc.). We appreciate you, Christina!

It has been a long process trying to find a dog sitter to replace our longtime dog sitter that’s had a baby and is no longer in the biz. We met with several sitters over the course of a couple months to try and find someone we (and the pups) vibed with. Finally, we found Cheryl and it just felt right. She’s now watched our pups a couple times and it’s been such a great experience every time. She provides regular check ins, walks, and it really feels like she enjoys spending time with our fur babies. I cannot recommend her enough. She’s such a kind soul and takes the best care of our dogs. She also takes great care of the house, making sure packages are put inside and the house of left exactly how we left it. Cheryl, thank you so much for being our go to dog sitter. I cannot express to you how grateful we are to have someone we trust to watch our pups while we are away. I can always feel that Sadie and Mona were well taken care of and loved while we were gone and that makes my heart to happy. Thank you. ♥️

Aicha is amazing! She took care of our fur babies well while we were away and they adjusted to her so fast. She is very flexible with her time and makes it very easy for us to communicate with her. Mya was fabulous in all ways possible! Our Hapa was loved and cared for, and Mya shared daily pictures with us to prove it! We feel so fortunate to make this connection with Mya and would not hesitate to use her again and/or refer her to others. So grateful!

Bari was so great! It was my first trip away from my new puppy and I felt very confident he was being loved and cared for as much as possible! Thanks for taking care of the kids! ❤️❤️

Jenna is such a sweetheart! She watched my two pups Luna and Chico and my sister’s dog Archie at my house. She sent pictures and updates multiple times a day which was so helpful! The dogs loved her immediately and were so comfortable. I would have Jenna watch them any time!

Mehma took such wonderful care of Maxwell! This was our first time reaching out to someone at Rover—and Mehma’s professionalism, responsiveness, and kindness made the entire experience run so smoothly. (And the regular photo updates of Maxwell further put our minds at ease!) We will 100% ask for Mehma’s support in the future!
