House Sitting in Hacienda Carmel

Laura was great with our two dogs - one who is a very quirky rescue. She even did a pre-stay walk with the dogs to get to know them. We appreciated the periodic updates and how clean the house was when we left.

Megan was fantastic. She meet all of our pets’ needs and then some. She was genuine, attentive, and thoughtful. She even sent updates and photos of our fur babies.

Left our home cleaner than we left it!! Sent tons of wonderful photos and kept our babies very happy!

I want to start by saying I 10/10 recommend Valeriya as a sitter for your furry roommate. From the very beginning, she was thoughtful and attentive, asking detailed questions about both my needs and Piero’s to provide the best possible care. She was punctual from day one and sent daily updates with photos, which I really appreciated. From start to finish, she was reliable and there to personally hand Piero back to me. I also want to mention that I left my home clean and returned to an even cleaner space—and a very happy pup. Once again, 10/10 recommend!

Arlene did an amazing job with in home dog sitting for our two babies! This was our first time leaving them with someone on Rover and we couldn’t be happier. She updated us with walks and photos the whole time. That really put our minds at ease and allowed us to have a great time on our trip! Mallory took excellent care of my dog Rosie and left my home cleaner than she found it! I was so relieved to have my dog in such great hands. Would definitely recommend her, and look forward to having her watch Rosie again!

Natalie spent three days with my kitties as I was away on vacation, and I was so happy with her professionalism and genuine love for animals! I knew my kitties would be cared for with love and care. She sent many photos and kept me updated on how they were doing. She even vacuumed my apartment and left it looking great! I will be reaching out to her soon to watch my lovebugs again!! She's the best.

Julia was a fantastic afternoon sitter for our dog Juno! She had quick and clear communication, arrived right on time, and was enthusiastic about taking our furry kid for the afternoon while the humans went to the Monterey Aquarium. She took her to Carmel Beach and sent photos to let us know how their time was going. A+ dog sitter/walker and will plan to work with her again, next time we're in the area.

Marianne was wonderful with Henry! She treated our home like her own while she watched him and even offered to come get us at the airport upon our return. Henry is our pride and joy and we felt comfortable leaving him in her hands and he clearly loved spending time with her. Will definitely have Marianne come back to stay with our Golden Retriever again! Highly recommend!

Emma was our first Rover sitter and went above and beyond our expectations. She was communicative throughout her stay and checked every box for a perfect house sitter. Our puppy, who is full of energy 24/7 was so well behaved when we came home after an afternoon outing with Emma. Greta is not only an incredible pet/house sitter, she is just a wonderful human being. She’s timely, communicative, kind, and a true lover of animals. We just got back from a trip and came home to an immaculate house and very happy pup. She is our new go to, for sure!
