Dog Boarding in Hessel

I boarded my dog with Lauren because I was attending events in 90+ degree temps which my pug can’t tolerate. I specifically asked that he be kept indoors in the air conditioning. I received a cute pic showing him relaxing in the cool temps. I so appreciate the safe care they demonstrated while my dog was in their home.

What a gift to have found Ying! She clearly loves dogs and took super great care of Iggy.

Steven was amazing with our nervous boy Copper. At our initial meeting Steven seemed very knowledgeable about dogs in general and especially the main breed of our mix. He took time to walk him and make friends with him while we chatted about Copper’s needs. During Copper’s stay, Steven took the time needed to help Copper feel comfortable and sent me photos throughout the morning letting me know that Copper was doing well. I was nervous about leaving Copper as it was his first time away from his home. Steven helped Copper and me both with our nerves! I highly recommend Steven for your pet sitting needs. He is amazing!

This was Pumpkin's first overnight stay with Sandy, and she did so well with Pumpkin! She calmed his initial separation anxiety with TLC, gave him his meals and meds on time, and the rest of his stay was peaceful–not a given with his current special needs. I feel confident about boarding Pumpkin with Sandy again in the near future.

Dustin was absolutely fantastic! He went above and beyond to make both us and our anxious pup feel completely at ease. From the start, he showed a natural gift for calming Smitty, who has some separation anxiety, and he kept us updated throughout the stay with multiple photo updates that truly put our minds at rest. Dustin’s setup is a dream for any dog, with a sprawling yard where they can roam and play freely. Smitty got VIP treatment, having the place to himself along with Dustin's friendly dog as a playmate. We can't recommend Dustin’s kind, expert service enough – he’s the best!

We so appreciated Mila looking after our doggo while we were at a wedding. He seemed happy as a clam when we picked him up. She even accommodated our inconveniently early pick up schedule. Big thank you!

Michael and Amber were terrific. The best judge of that was our dog, Coco. When we came to pick her up after 4 days with them she was calm and happy. It was obvious that Michael and Amber followed our requested schedule - walks, food, etc. We couldn't be more pleased with their care of our wonderful dog.

Skippy love staying with Bernadette. She’s a lovely woman who clearly cares about the pets in her care and has a gentle manner with both humans and animals.

My overly energetic 4-yr-old pup Kobe absolutely LOVES being at David's place. Kobe starts squealing wildly even before we enter the driveway. David is a kind and wonderful lifetime dog owner who fully understands canines and their needs. He is so good with all the dogs in his care: totally loving yet disciplined, attentive and careful, and in control when one of them gets out of hand. David is very communicative & responsive, and his home is a dog paradise with several fenced-in acres for all the dogs to run freely. He often cares for several dogs at once, so your dog will have lots of playmates to make the stay with David even more enjoyable for them. I think Kobe is happier at David's than he is at home! It's heaven for dogs there! I can't recommend David's dog care highly enough!

I needed a dog sitter last minute for a wedding and Merrill more than came through! Homer warmed up to her immediately, and throughout the stay, Merrill sent lots of picture updates of a very happy pug :) will definitely be seeking to book her in the future!

Katy did a fantastic job watching my sweet puppy! I could tell my dog had a great time with her and her family. Katy kept Posie entertained and feeling loved, allowing me to have a stress free vacation. Thank you Katy and will be returning.

Ellen is amazing. My boys almost didn't want to leave ans got a long well with Ellen's dogs. The daily pictures were funny and it was nice to know they were having fun too.

Larissa is a beautiful person who provides a safe, fun and loving environment for your pet. Sammy has separation anxiety and isn’t around other dogs often but Larissa displayed a lot of patience and reassurance when it came to his care. I appreciate her for being transparent, sharing cute photos and accommodating me at a short notice. Sammy and I look forward to seeing her next time.

I recently left my older dog, Odie, with Heather for ten days to take a family vacation to Kauai that has been planned for the last year. I was so worried about leaving Odie because he has a grade VI heart murmur and an enlarged heart. He is on four oral meds a day, some of them being given three times daily. This is no easy task, as we have to find something to hide the medication in that Odie will eat. With his illness, he often doesn't have much appetite, and he can be picky about what he eats. I also informed Heather that Odie could go into heart failure at any time, and he can also be restless at night. None of this scared her away. I actually cried most of the day before leaving him, as I was worried that he'd pass away before I returned. Heather reassured me, and she was really good about sending me photos and texting me back when I asked how he was doing. During Odie's first day or two there, he was a bit depressed, but quickly became comfortable with Heather and the other dogs. I could tell this just by the photos she sent, especially the one where he was lying on his back in the dog bed with all four feet in the air. I can't reiterate enough how much this helped keep my mind at ease, which in turn made for a more relaxed and enjoyable vacation. I would not hesitate to use Heather in the future, and I will recommend her to anyone I know who is in need of a dog sitter.
