Dog Boarding in Hope Ranch

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! We left our dog with Lynn and Marty for 11 nights. They are both the most caring and considerate couple and it is obvious how much they love dogs. Our lab was so well cared for and treated like part of their family while we were gone. We received daily photos of their adventures together and you could tell how comofortable and happy our dog was. They have an amazing backyard that our lab loved, especially swimming in the pool! We knew our dog was in such good hands with Lynn and Marty, making it that much easier to relax and enjoy our trip. I know our pup would love to stay with them again! Thank you Lynn and Marty!

We were having trouble finding a petsitter in Santa Barbara for our two old ladies. They needed a quiet enough space without lots of other energetic dogs coming and going. Candice and her two more senior Chihuahuas were the perfect fit. She provided lots of updates and the girls came home very happy. Will definitely be rebooking with Candice for future trips.

We loved Kaitlin! She took such great care of our dog, Hilary Duff. We got lots of photo updates and never had to worry while we were away. Hilary had the best time running around the backyard and hanging out with Kaitlin’s kids—it really felt like she was part of the family. Would absolutely book with Kaitlin again!

Sandra was a wonderful sitter for Maverick. She was able to take him last minute when our friend who was planning to sit him fell through. She was excellent with communication, providing videos throughout his stay, and was flexible with drop off time when our flight was delayed.

Gino had a great time with Ada, her beautiful family, and very friendly dogs! Ada took him on several walks and sent us daily updates and photos. We could see Gino was in excellent hands, and we look forward to his next stay with Ada!

Shalon was fantastic with Kodi and Lucy. She sent photo and video updates the whole stay, which we loved. She checked in on the crate schedule, made sure she understood both leash setups, and handled the dogs calmly and safely. Both dogs seemed completely at ease with her. They played, snuggled, and got plenty of exercise, including evening walks. She has a great way with dogs and treated ours like her own. We'd book with Shalon again and recommend her to anyone in the Santa Barbara area.

Danielle was amazing! We were in a bind and our puppy wasn’t feeling well during our vacation. Danielle was a lifesaver. She not only came to pick him up but sent regular updates to let us know how he was doing. She handled his tummy troubles like a pro and was calm, reassuring and confident. She helped his anxiety with comfort, snuggles and walks. We are so glad we found her and will definitely book her again in the future! Highly recommend.

My five year-old Pug Simon had the best time ever with Bradley and Carolyn. I’m starting to think my dog didn’t wanna come home after mommy’s vacation. My dog enjoyed long walks a pup cup tons of cuddles and love. I would highly recommend them to take care of any animal. I absolutely will use them again on my next travels. This experience was a 10 out of 10.

Amber was wonderful with our dog Johnny. We had to change plans near the end of our trip and extend a few days longer than expected and she was incredibly accommodating and wonderful throughout the whole process. I suggest her very highly and will be looking to her first next time we need someone for Johnny :)

Cheryl was great with my puppy, I was nervous using rover.com for the first time as well as having our puppy for only a few months and needing to find a place for her for a week while we were gone. Her home was pet friendly, her dog Honey also was dog friendly and our puppy was loved, played with while we were gone. Reading her past reviews and meeting her, I had no concerns while we were gone. Thank you for helping our rescue feel loved and teaching her to hi-five and shake when we were gone! I had been working on that for months!!!

Kay is so caring and wonderful! My two dogs immediately took to her! Even my shy little one! Each day that I was away she sent me photos of them, which I so appreciated. It relieved my mind so I could enjoy a much needed family vacation, without worrying about my doggies. I hope to use her often in the future!

Adela is a fantastic dog sitter and gave us great peace of mind on our vacation! She and her daughter gave our dog care and cuddles, and even took her for a hike and to the beach. Our dog gets nervous when we’re away and stops eating, but Adela handled that like a champ. It’s always hard to leave your pet with a new person, but Adela made the whole process as easy and comfortable as possible. I can’t recommend her enough!

Jorrit & has his family were wonderful with our dog, Peanut. In addition to living in a fantastic dog-friendly house & acre of land, they took Peanut for walks and on various excursions. Should we need to board Peanut in Santa Barbara in the future, we would definitely have him stay with Jorrit.
