Dog Boarding in Idyllwild

Our three standard poodles, Jasper, Coal, and puppy Copper, felt right at home from the first moment we got there. They immediately ran right in the front door and were exploring the house before we even got to the door. Edgar sent pictures of the dogs during the day, and they obviously spent time interacting with our dogs as they described each dogs personality. We will use Edgar again next time we are in So. Cal.

Alice was an absolute lifesaver! My original dog sitter cancelled the night before I had to leave for a work trip, and Alice accepted my booking immediately without hesitation. She even accommodated my request to pick up and drop off my dog, Chase, and was incredibly prompt—something I really appreciated given the last-minute stress. Throughout the 10 days, Alice was very responsive and sent daily updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. Chase looked genuinely happy and well cared for, and I’m pretty sure she’ll miss her new doggie friends! I will definitely be reaching out to Alice again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.

When I picked up Amber she was so happy and purely. She looked great and was full of energy when we got home. I assume she really liked it at Judith’s. Thank you so much Judith taking care of my honey.

Matt stayed in touch with us throughout our trip with messages and pictures. The pups had a great time. They will definitely be seeing uncle Matt again.

Todd was fantastic! He is very conscientious and kind. My little Cavalier had the best time with his dogs. So much playing and fun, I was worried she wouldn’t want to come back to me!

Anna and Tyler were so good with our doodles. This is the first time we left all three of them with a sitter for a full day and we’re so glad we found Anna and Tyler. Our babies were COVID babies so they are easily scared and protective of each other. We are very particular about leaving our babies and we typically go on vacation with them all the time. This time around, hubby and I needed to get some higher elevation training to get ready for our trip back to Nepal and Mount San Jacinto peak is always on our list. And besides, we love Idyllwild and Mayor Max- we visit at least twice a year. Now that we found a very trustworthy couple with a beautiful home and big fully fenced yard- it’s a no brainer! Anna and Tyler also have a Goldendoodle named Gus and a little mixed dog named Murph who were also so friendly and accommodating to our dogs. Anna also told me that they have a regular client from Palm Springs who leaves their Bernedoodle to their care every time they go on trips- they drive over an hour to leave their fur baby with them all the time- now I know why. My husband and I are so grateful to you Anna and Tyler! We would have not tried and trusted anyone to leave our dogs but you both changed us! You took good care of our dogs, followed my feeding instructions, and the dogs stayed clean in spite of Harley’s running adventures with Gus. Thank you for the pictures and videos that I received on and off while hiking- they truly put us at ease that they were well taken care of and more. Thank you for understanding their accident when we picked them up- my apologies… we will surely take advantage of your assistance in the future and I know there will be more. We are so very grateful for your help- thanks again!

Our senior citizen was treated well and came home in good shape. At 15 years, he is deaf and a bit wobbly, but the frequent photos of him cuddling on the couch with Osamu and Darrell and lounging in his bed were comforting to us. Osamu was loving and gentle with him and also communicated frequently about how our boy was doing. Highly recommend.

Well, my fur baby just spent the weekend with Edith and her family and as usual she has done a fantastic job of keeping my baby safe and happy. Edith, you are my angel and for that, I thank you, bless you and yours for this Memorial Day holiday. Cody and I will see you soon.❤️

Jackson was amazing once again! I received regular updates and pictures throughout their stay. My Dobermans were so happy when I picked them up, and they looked so happy in all the photos Jackson shared with me. He is definitely our go-to sitter now. Highly recommended! My dogs can be a lot to handle sometimes, and he didn’t break a sweat.

Shelly is fantastic! She took wonderful care of our girl recently and we'll be working with her again and again. Her home is completely secure, great for worried dog parents! She's communicative and caring. I could tell my dog had a wonderful staycation at Shelly's while we were on our trip! 10/10!

Our sheepadoodle had the best time with Louise (and Lacie!). He was a little disappointed to be picked up. Louise was attentive and communicative throughout and we hope to go back to the Palm Desert area soon so Lou can visit again!

Alan and Joe were great with Luke! Very attentive and kept me updated throughout my trip, which I appreciated. They were also super accommodating with my airline issues, which made travel much less stressful. Thank you!

Our dogs had the best time, I know this because they immediately went to bed from exhaustion hahah! Marinee and her husband were so nice and the house was perfect for our fur babies! Thank you for taking care of our babiessss!

My dogs spent a very happy night with Luz - so good that we are en route to drop them off for another two nights! I could tell they love her because of how they interacted with her when we came to collect them. They clearly felt happy and comfortable. Luz has a warm, calm presence and her home and yard are very nice, as well.

Brandon was a great sitter for Denver, calm and relaxed and very thoughtful. Denver enjoyed his 11 day stay while we were on a business trip, and we will certainly use Brandon again when we need to.
