House Sitting in Long Beach

Ali took really good care of my dog Heidi, she went above and beyond what was expected and gave her all the attention and care she needed. She communicated effectively and even took her to the vet when she developed a yeast infection and talked to me about it. I could tell immediately she had lots of experience with dogs and that was important since I have a fast and strong dog that needs an experienced handler. One of the best rover experiences I’ve had, thank you.

We booked Brendan for our first long-term rover sitting and had a great experience! Our slightly neurotic and anxious dog was at ease with him in our home and it was so nice to know she was in good hands while we were away! We got lots of pictures daily and had great communication while we were away thanks to his quick response time. Our dog usually doesn't eat for a day after we leave, but I know she felt happy and safe with him because she never skipped a meal while she was with Brendan! Overall, our house sitting was a great experience and we'll definitely be recommending Brendan to our fellow pet parents 🙂‍↕️

Giovanny has been the most communicative sitter we’ve had so far on Rover! He was great with sending updates and sharing pictures of our dogs pretty much everyday day. He was also super reliable with our dog’s medication which is critical for his comfort. Our WiFi went down the day we left and all our security cameras went offline- Giovanny was kind enough to help us troubleshoot at the modem so we could get them back online.! I felt there was some opportunity with tidiness but nothing outside of what is acceptable. I do think he was very respectful and responsible with our home - we have already rebooked him for our next trip!

This is the 2nd time I've had Jackson help with looking after my dog and the house. Just like last time, Jackson went above and beyond with great updates, pictures and care, and I have complete trust and peace of mind when he's watching Bruno.

Erin did a wonderful job taking care of my cat Milo! She told me she has cats of her own so it felt good leaving him with someone who has the experience I was looking for. I had quite a bit of instructions for my cat while I was away, and she did a great job following through with everything I asked. Very attentive, responsible, and clearly cared about making sure my cat was comfortable and well taken care of. She always sent me photos, giving me updates, and was great with communication! Very thankful for her help!

I am reluctant to leave a review for Lauren as we will 100% use her services again in the future, but know a good review will make this harder in our future. But Lauren was/is awesome. We have a 200lb Great Dane and frequently travel where we need to house him for a couple days. In the past he has stopped eating which causes him to get anxious and 'hangry' and he's a mess when we get home. So we tried Rover and selected Lauren cause she has VetTech experience. She was wonderful with our pet AND even took him for daily walks which he loves but 200lbs is a lot when a squirrel crosses his path. Lauren is awesome and stayed over in our home for couple of days. Shows up on time and communicates expectations and daily status. Confidence with Lauren.

This was my first time hiring house/pet sitter. She was great! She took care my dog and cat perfectly and my house too! I highly recommend her to everyone!

Loralie took excellent care of our pets over an extended trip. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures. We returned to a spotless home and happy fur babies. Definitely recommended.

Christopher did a wonderful job taking care of my sweet senior pup for 5 days in our home. He kept me updated on all her walks, potty breaks, and meals. I didn’t worry about her once. I would hire him again.

Bridget was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my dog while I was away. I could tell right away that she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. She was super communicative, sent regular updates and photos, and made sure my pup got plenty of love, walks, and attention. I came home to a happy, relaxed dog, which says it all! The best way to describe Cassandra's house-sitting and dog-care service is outstanding!  She was accommodating and respectful of both our home and our dogs' needs. I recommend her without reservation. She followed all special instructions regarding feeding and medication with great attention to detail. The real test of her dog care was evident when we returned; both dogs showed her great affection. They even stood by the door, waiting for her to come back! Cassandra has become our go-to for excellent dog care!

Great communication, kept my boy on his schedule and kept me from worrying

Tanesha was very quick to respond from the get go which is very helpful in the process as a new Rover user. She was very sweet and Noir loved the company. We were in a unique situation visiting town, but Tanesha was flexible and respectful.

Mary was great for our first sit with her. She showed up right on time and we had no issues throughout the day. She provided pictures and updates, putting us at ease knowing that Petunia was being cared for. We will definitely be booking her again and recommend her for anyone else looking for a great sitter!

Joel was great with my pets for a week of pet/house sitting. I even surprised him with an extra pet at the last minute. Joel was very accommodating and welcoming a + 1 easily. Thank you Joel !!

Shelli stayed with Blazer while I was away last week and I must say she is the BEST! She went out of her way to take amazing care of him. She gave me daily updates as well as daily pictures. I will definitely use Shelli in the future! Thanks again Shelli for giving me and Blazer the comfort and trust that everything was taken care with personal touches and extra care.

Kelsi is truly the best! She’s the only sitter we have had and we love how caring, sweet, and attentive she is. I recommend her to all my family and friends. We love Kelsi!
