Dog Boarding in Occidental

Brandi was accommodating with our chaotic schedule and changes that had to be made last minute. She also communicated with us during the stay to let us know our pet was having a good time there. Thank you so much for taking good care of her.

My dog was so well adjusted and calm when we came home, so I knew Bernadette took great care of her. She loved playing with Bernadette's two fur babies. And, I got a photo every day of mine, which helped with the separation sadness! Thanks Bernadette!

Heather was outstanding. She took great care of our Bruno. She sent lots of pictures and kept me informed with what Bruno was doing. The pictures that she sent me, I could tell that my little fur baby was having a wonderful time. He showed it by smiling so hard. I would definitely leave Bruno in Heathers care again.

Madalyn was sweet and attentive with our boy Toby! We loved the daily updates and pictures and felt like he was happy. We would absolutely recommend her and would book boarding with Madalyn again!

Hannah and Noah offered excellent care to our treasured pup for the two nights she stayed with them. I received photos and notes to put my mind at rest and could see that our pup had made herself right at home! Would definitely book with them again if we were in the area.

Oksana did such a wonderful job taking care of Miley and Gracie! We can tell that her family loved our fur babies and they were in such good hands during the time when we had to be away for an extended period of time. We just got married this past week and we never had to worry about a thing. The girls loved to spend time with Oksana and I don’t think they were ready to leave! The girls were well taken care of by Oksana!

From the moment I met Christina, I knew that she was going to be a sweet and gentle caretaker for my pup. She sent daily (p)updates on their fun activities, and also let me know when she needed to leave the house for a couple hours to go to a doctor's appointment--and even then she didn't leave my pup alone, as her dad was in the house. I would definitely let Zeta play with Christina again.

Mollie and Anthony’s farm has been my dog Rumi’s home away from home for the past year and a half, whenever I go for extended trips. Not sure why it took me so long to write a review, probably a bit of selfishness, as I can’t imagine, ever having to put my dog in a kennel again! They are hands-down the best environment I’ve found for my dog who will literally not get out of the car if he knows he’s going to some other places. They never have too many dogs so they all get a lot of play and attention, and they really treat your dog like their own. Don’t hesitate to book them, your dog will get more than food and shelter-he/she will get ❤️😊!

Angelina is so good with Lila~ my very sweet but overall difficult pup~ plus Angelina is so easy to work with and accomodating. Her love for animals is clear and genuine... And I feel secure in knowing that the next time I want to get away she will be here to care for my fur babies

Donna and Nickolas are a real find, definitely recommend them. Pippa and Ginger, our 2 year old yellow labs, fit in perfectly with their own yellow girls, happily becoming a part of the pack. The yard is expansive with room to explore and run, but the dogs have access to the house as they wish. They're even invited up on the bed for early morning snuggles. We felt fully secure with the level of supervision and the very significant attention and love. They're communicative and adaptable, even did a drop-off at our house at the end of our trip. Happy as we assume our girls were to be home, they still trotted to the door to see if Donna and Nick were coming back. High praise!

Caitlin is amazing! She took excellent care of my girl. She kept me updated throughout her stay with lots of photos. She has a great property and took my girl on lots of long walks. Highly recommend

Laura and Gabriel were great! We have a special needs (Neuro) dog with meds. They took great care of her and incorporated her into their family while she was staying. I got frequent updates and photos and know she was having a great time, felt comfortable and relaxed and was well cared for. Would definitely hire them again.

Melissa was incredible with my energetic and high-maintenance great dane, Milo! Milo stayed at Melissa's house for 7 days and she sent me pictures and videos each throughout the stay. Milo is aggressive with other dogs so it was important to me for him to stay at the sitters home rather than go on walks. Melissa has a beautiful big backyard where she was able to walk, play, and exercise Milo until his heart was content. When dropping Milo off I immediately felt comfortable after meeting Melissa, she is professional, kind, and my dog quickly fell in love with her. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Melissa for any dog owners who have high maintenance dogs (aggression, anxiety, need to be closely watched) because she followed all of my feeding/sleeping/medication instructions perfectly and she was great to work with.
