Dog Boarding in Occidental

I boarded my dog with Lauren because I was attending events in 90+ degree temps which my pug can’t tolerate. I specifically asked that he be kept indoors in the air conditioning. I received a cute pic showing him relaxing in the cool temps. I so appreciate the safe care they demonstrated while my dog was in their home.

Brandi & her family welcomed our pup Huxley in with open arms & provided him with exceptional care!! He was happy & smiling all week long. We will certainly be returning to Brandi’s house for future stays. It was our first boarding experience outside of family care & all our worries were instantly relieved with Brandi. THANK YOU!

Our dog Scout is like a child to us. So leaving her with someone new can be stressful and emotional. But Jennifer was by far the best sitter we've had to date. Her calm and kind energy put us at ease right away... as well as Scout's. She was super communicative while we were away (which we love!) and clearly an experienced dog person - as observed by my boyfriend and I when we dropped off Scout. We are very happy to have found Jennifer :) - Lisa and Angus

My girl came back looking well loved 🥰. Patricia sent photos every day I was gone, was very flexible about pick up/drop off, and you can tell she has a home full of love. Will definitely book with here again!

Heather was such a great dog sitter for Garvey and Otis. She gave me regular updates and pictures of my dogs and I loved all her commentary of what they were doing. She gave me peace of mind for my two boys that are high energy and one that’s an extreme Velcro dog.

My overly energetic 4-yr-old pup Kobe absolutely LOVES being at David's place. Kobe starts squealing wildly even before we enter the driveway. David is a kind and wonderful lifetime dog owner who fully understands canines and their needs. He is so good with all the dogs in his care: totally loving yet disciplined, attentive and careful, and in control when one of them gets out of hand. David is very communicative & responsive, and his home is a dog paradise with several fenced-in acres for all the dogs to run freely. He often cares for several dogs at once, so your dog will have lots of playmates to make the stay with David even more enjoyable for them. I think Kobe is happier at David's than he is at home! It's heaven for dogs there! I can't recommend David's dog care highly enough!

Thank you so much for your loving care of my sweet MoonShadow. I’m sad you are booked for my next trip, but I’m modifying my itinerary and going to arrang for him to fly with me to Mexico then on my return I may be buying a little Rialto RV to drive home cross country as long as I already have a flight home with a long layover in Houston who’s isdo close to whet the RV is for me to check it out before buying it.. Fun times ahead with my little partner in adventures!

Angela was a fantastic Rover sitter! We were traveling to Healdsburg for the weekend from SF and needed someone to care for our senior pup Amara. We connected via Zoom in lieu of an in person Meet & Greet which was convenient and made drop off very comfortable. You could tell immediately that she would give our girl her full attention and love, which we were able to follow along with through her consistent updates! She got to go on some adventures around town which even included a pup cup and a new toy. We would absolutely use Angela again and I cannot recommend her more!

Crystal is the absolute ideal person to trust in care of my precious dogs. I appreciate her due diligence with regards to having a meet and greet to ensure compatibility between her amazingly well behaved dog Rosie and my two. She took utmost care of my dogs, ensured their security and made certain they were happy and felt welcome and were exercised. Crystal sent me updates with photos intermittently through the day. I will continue to seek out booking Crystal for anytime I can get her when needed as long as I’m in Santa Rosa.

Ana was fantastic with our two pups. She sent photo and video updates, and it was clear that both of our dogs were well treated over the weekend.

Kaiel is truly the best! Kaiel provided so much love and cuddles. They went on hikes and Fern adored playing with Kaiel's dog Ham!!! I also appreciated the daily updates, as it was the longest time I have ever left my dog.

Sunny is always a very happy boy after staying with Alexis...in fact, so happy that last time he didn't want to leave! Alexis was very attentive to Sunny's needs, flexible with planning, and I could feel the genuine care and fondness she had for Sunny. We will definitely book with Alexis again :)

Melissa was incredible with my energetic and high-maintenance great dane, Milo! Milo stayed at Melissa's house for 7 days and she sent me pictures and videos each throughout the stay. Milo is aggressive with other dogs so it was important to me for him to stay at the sitters home rather than go on walks. Melissa has a beautiful big backyard where she was able to walk, play, and exercise Milo until his heart was content. When dropping Milo off I immediately felt comfortable after meeting Melissa, she is professional, kind, and my dog quickly fell in love with her. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Melissa for any dog owners who have high maintenance dogs (aggression, anxiety, need to be closely watched) because she followed all of my feeding/sleeping/medication instructions perfectly and she was great to work with.

Debi was great with my senior dog, including special food, feeding schedule, and medications. Sent nice updates every day. My dog came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. Grateful for having a kind and conscientious person care for my fur baby!

Ozzy had a great time at Jill’s place. She’s got a great yard for dogs and Ozzy loved playing with Jill’s dog Cassidy. We’re happy to have discovered Jill and will definitely use her again!
