Dog Boarding in Occidental

My dog had a wonderful time! And I could tell how much they had bonded already :) they were super sweet and kind to him even though he can be a bit shy at first

My overly energetic 4-yr-old pup Kobe absolutely LOVES being at David's place. Kobe starts squealing wildly even before we enter the driveway. David is a kind and wonderful lifetime dog owner who fully understands canines and their needs. He is so good with all the dogs in his care: totally loving yet disciplined, attentive and careful, and in control when one of them gets out of hand. David is very communicative & responsive, and his home is a dog paradise with several fenced-in acres for all the dogs to run freely. He often cares for several dogs at once, so your dog will have lots of playmates to make the stay with David even more enjoyable for them. I think Kobe is happier at David's than he is at home! It's heaven for dogs there! I can't recommend David's dog care highly enough!

Brandi took such good care of our Doodle. We have picked up our boy at other facilities injured and traumatized. In every update picture he seemed to be smiling and living his best life. We were at peace our entire trip knowing he was in good hands and making friends. Thank you for taking such good care of our boy!

My girl came back looking well loved 🥰. Patricia sent photos every day I was gone, was very flexible about pick up/drop off, and you can tell she has a home full of love. Will definitely book with here again!

Kyle and his wife are always so kind to my dog. I always feel very comfortable leaving Daisy with their family because I know she’s in really great hands. They’re very reliable and responsive. Couldn’t ask for more!

Thank you so much for your loving care of my sweet MoonShadow. I’m sad you are booked for my next trip, but I’m modifying my itinerary and going to arrang for him to fly with me to Mexico then on my return I may be buying a little Rialto RV to drive home cross country as long as I already have a flight home with a long layover in Houston who’s isdo close to whet the RV is for me to check it out before buying it.. Fun times ahead with my little partner in adventures!

Our experience with Heather was exceptional (as usual). Not only did they provide top-notch care for our beloved old dog, but they also went the extra mile by sending us plenty of heartwarming pictures, keeping us reassured and connected throughout our time away. With Heather, we always have peace of mind knowing our furry family member is in loving hands. Highly recommend!

Our dog Scout is like a child to us. So leaving her with someone new can be stressful and emotional. But Jennifer was by far the best sitter we've had to date. Her calm and kind energy put us at ease right away... as well as Scout's. She was super communicative while we were away (which we love!) and clearly an experienced dog person - as observed by my boyfriend and I when we dropped off Scout. The best two weeks my dog spent away from us! She has a lovely family that treated my dog like their own. Lots of updates and everything went without a hitch.

Ana was fantastic with our two pups. She sent photo and video updates, and it was clear that both of our dogs were well treated over the weekend.

Angela was a fantastic Rover sitter! We were traveling to Healdsburg for the weekend from SF and needed someone to care for our senior pup Amara. We connected via Zoom in lieu of an in person Meet & Greet which was convenient and made drop off very comfortable. You could tell immediately that she would give our girl her full attention and love, which we were able to follow along with through her consistent updates! She got to go on some adventures around town which even included a pup cup and a new toy. We would absolutely use Angela again and I cannot recommend her more!

Crystal was wonderful with Skippy! She was friendly, communicative, and sent lots of updates and photos throughout his stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and Skippy was happy and well cared for. We’d absolutely trust her with him again and highly recommend her!

Hazel had another successful visit with Auntie Debbie! We have no doubt that our girl is well taken care of in Debbie's care. Hazel walks right in like she's home. She's happy to see us, but probably would be just as happy to stay indefinitely. Debbie loves her like she's her own and even gave her our new nickname for Hazel, Princess Ears. We had always thought she had alien ears, but Princess Ears suits her much better, and is much nicer:) We can't thank you enough Debbie for taking such good care of our girl!
