Dog Boarding in Orangevale

We left our fur baby with Sixuan for 3 weeks over two consecutive sessions- really Sixuan is one of the best ! My dog is old and needs careful handling and Sixuan and her son looked after Andi like their own dog. We got regular pictures and updates. Thank You Sixuan!

I was very pleased with Derek and Leslie watching my pup. It was the first time I needed to have someone watch him so I was quite nervous. During drop off, Leslie helped me feel comfortable and reassured me that he would be safe at their home and around their pool, especially because my dog cannot swim. While I was away for the weekend I got frequent updates and photos. Although I was not able to respond often, I really appreciated that. I will say I was taken a little by surprise that there were other dogs there since I was not made aware of that during the booking process. Thankfully my dog is very friendly and so were the other dogs. My dog left their house happy and worn out from all the playing. I know he would be more than willing to return!

Our pups had a great stay at with Galady and her sweet dog Pepper! We loved the frequent updates Galady sent us and felt at ease during our entire trip. I would highly recommend her!

This feedback is for two reasons. First, I want to express my immense gratitude to Gregory for saving us during a very stressful moment. Our original sitter canceled the booking just two days before we were scheduled to drop off our dog. We found out after 5 PM on a Friday, which was incredibly stressful and frustrating, though we understand that unforeseen situations can occur. What was particularly upsetting was that when I searched for a new sitter, the fees were significantly higher due to the short notice. I reached out to Rover support and was disappointed to learn that there is no real contingency plan for last-minute sitter cancellations. A sitter's trustworthiness and reliability are paramount to building the company's reputation. This is why Gregory was such a blessing. He is a true asset to Rover. He took exceptional care of our German Shepherd for an entire week. He provided daily walks, ensured our dog ate on time, dedicated time for play, and made sure he had plenty of rest. We are so grateful for his professionalism and care. He is highly recommendable, and we will definitely be requesting his services again.

Amazing! We didn’t come back until late and they were able to accommodate 1 extra night. My pups were so calm when they usually jump on me.

Julia and her family took excellent care of my fur baby. She was treated with love, and special care. Midnight (my fur baby), quickly acclimated to her new environment, because of the love she felt and received from Julia and her family. Julia made special accommodations for my fur baby, when she refused to eat her breakfast. Julia was able to get her to consume her entire bowl. Julia also kept me updated with Midnight daily activities, attitude and comfort level. I plan to utilize her services again. Thank you, so much Julia for your excellent care of Midnight.

My pups really enjoyed their stay with Kevin and his sweet dog! They got plenty of playtime, exercise and cuddles! I also appreciated the frequent updates to how things were going. I plan to book with him for future stays :) Thanks, Kevin!

Best sitter ever! Very caring, treated my dog like he was her own. She went above and beyond when problem solving (because..well…I have a poodle!). Highly recommend her and will be using her again if the need arises.❤️

Sylvia and Finnegan were great! Indiana had a lovely time, so much so that she wasn’t sure she wanted leave. Absolutely fabulous!!

Erin & Devin communicated well about our dog & sent pictures. They truly seemed to care about him - brushed him, played with him in addition to his walks. It was so nice to be able to enjoy our trip & see pictures of a happy dog that was well cared for! We feel very comfortable leaving our dog with Erin & Devin.

I was so relieved when we found Nancy! My dog is getting older and needs a lot of extra care and patience. She is also on a lot of medication which can be overwhelming for most people. Nancy was great even got her outside all the time which is her favorite! She definitely treated her like a princess! We are very thankful we found Nancy! Always sent me updates and many adorable photos!

Lucky's Little Pooch Lodge aka/ Tamara and Lucky have the best vacation location for our Lily! She gets to visit with others on Vacation, she gets to roam and explore the grounds and be watched over when needed for food, meds and anything else that might happen. She comes home happy and tired, which must be a sign of an adventurous time on vacation. I can't praise these two enough for when your pup needs some time away.

Nadya is excellent with Kenta. He feels happy and comfortable with Nadya and her family who are loving and experienced with big dogs. We always feel confident leaving Kenta with them.

Amy & Justin were amazing with Milo, and I could tell he felt right at home with them. It was very comforting knowing he was in good hands and was being treated so well. They sent lots of pictures and a thorough update every day. I will definitely be booking with them the next time we need a dog sitter for vacation or even day visits so Milo can play with his new friends again.

This was my first time using Rover along with care for my Pomeranian, Kahlua. Angela made the process easy as we chatted about booking options and I decided to use overnight boarding. Angela sent me videos and pictures during kahlua’s stay and I could tell he was adjusting and playing well with her dog, Jazzy. Angela was effective and prompt in all communications and even patient when my work trip got back late in the evening. She was attentive to details for snacks/feeding schedules and provided above and beyond care of Kahlua. I highly recommend her for any of your pet needs! She has gained my trust and Kahua’s. I will definitely be using her services again anytime I need to be away. Thank you again Angela and her doggy Jazzy for helping Kahlua happy and in positive spirits while we were away from him.

Once again, Olesia took incredible care of our kitty, Basket! She and her husband gave him the “royal” treatment, grooming him, playing with him and even letting him sleep with them. I received many pictures and videos throughout his stay and updates on his eating and bathroom habits as well. Olesia has my highest recommendation and I know Basket is looking forward to the next time he gets to visit!

Kendra is amazing!! She is SO patient and truly cares about the dogs she watches. She went out of her way to make sure that our pup felt comfortable in her home. He is a rescue so it meant the world to us!!

Jena (and fam) were awesome! She kept our Australian Shepherd occupied and content. We will definitely look them up again when we leave town. Thank you Jena!
