Dog Boarding in Orinda

Patrick exceeded my expectations! I did not want to leave my 6 month puppy in a kennel and discovered Rover through a recommendation. His havanese, Sophie, was the perfect playmate and when I brought my puppy Bonnie, they instantly ran off to play! Patrick sent me pictures and I felt so relieved to know Bonnie was having a good time! Highly recommend!!!

Ulunma has being a pack leader down! Drop off & pick up were efficient and easy. She was very responsive to all my questions. It was clear she read Frances' profile thoroughly so was prepared for her "moments!" & Her setup is great with multiple dogs of varying energy levels. Highly recommend!

Cara and her mom are wonderful! Our dog Bella came back very happy. Looking forward to the next visit!

Jeff and Beth took amazing care of our corgi Bento! We were gone for an extended (2 week) trip, and they provided lots of updates every day. We could tell that they really made Bento feel like part of their family, ensuring lots of playtime with other pups and a variety of activities each day. He came back to us tired, happy, and content. We’d absolutely recommend Jeff and Beth for any boarding, long or short!

My dog Fred has always had a little bit of anxiety when I go out of town. But not when he stays at Mariola’s place. He’s always so happy to see her and her daughter, and always looks healthy and calm when I go to pick him up. I can’t say enough about what a relief it is for Free to have a second home at Mariola’s place.

Ying was responsive and friendly. She sent many pictures and updates. Highly recommend.

Amanda is wonderful. She took care of our dog, Ollie, over a long weekend and was so on top of everything -- from his medication, to managing him with other dogs, and of course sending us pictures of him living his best cozy life! Thank you Amanda!

So thankful to have found Robert & Brian. Robert was incredibly thoughtful in our pre-visit discussion. He asked so many insightful questions...and sent amazing photos of her adventures. I almost felt bad for picking her up, like her vacation was over! 😂

Valerie gave Duke the best week ever! Duke got a lot of walks. Valeries took pictures and gave us constant updates, which was very helpful being far away from my puppy. I highly recommend Valerie and will definitely trust our puppy with her in the future. Thank you Valerie!!

Kit has watched our pup Luna a few times and has done a great job making her happy and comfortable! She has also been very accommodating with changes to our pick-up time which we really appreciated.

Judith was very gracious to help me out on a very short notice. My dog had a wonderful time and came back happy. Judith provided timely updates and it was very easy to coordinate drop off, pick up and my dog's schedule. I would highly recommend her for dog boarding services.

Chad is definitely an animal lover! He was excellent with Kansas and Khali who were treated like Queen Bs in the house. They even got to sleep in the bed! I was able to meet with Jenean beforehand to make sure me dog felt comfortable with her, and I knew it was an instant fit. Jenean responded very quickly to my texts and emails, and she even shared pictures of my dog while I was away. I'd love to work with her again! Thank you Jenean!

Catherine was amazing. She cared for our 7-month-old puppy, Cricket, for a whole week while we were away, and we felt completely at ease and new that she was in great hands. From when we first met her, it was clear that Catherine is a real dog person -- warm attentive and genuinely excited to spend time with Cricket. It was obvious that she truly cared about her and enjoyed having her. Her dog, Kizmet was also a sweet role model for Cricket. Catherine sent the cutest photos and videos of Kizmet and Cricket cuddling and napping together, along with daily updates from the dog park and their adventures. She sent photos, videos, and little notes every day, which really put me at ease knowing how happy and well cared for Cricket was. The day we came back we arrived home at 8:30 at night and she tired Cricket out with lots of park visits so she would be tired when we got home. And she even gave Cricket a bath before pickup! We’re so grateful to have found Catherine. Nothing better than truly feeling at ease when traveling knowing that your dog is in such loving hands. Thank you, Catherine! You're the best. We'll definitely be in touch again the next time we're away.

This review is long overdue. My Lexi is a special girl and she considers Matt and Luna’s home to be her second home. Lexi has visited over a dozen times and I truly believe she is her happiest self when staying there. Matt is the best out there with a perfectly set up yard. Dog heaven for my Lexi. ❤️
