Dog Boarding in Penn Valley

Diana and her family did a wonderful job looking after our dog. We hadn’t boarded our dog in quite some time but we could tell that she was comfortable with Diana and in her home. Diana even baked homemade dog biscuits during the stay! She also sent us lots of photos of our dog and was always responsive to any questions we had.

We brought our Great Dane, Harper, to stay with Grant for a night as a test run before a longer trip we will be making this summer. Harper appeared to love her visit! Although she was a little standoffish at first, Grant seemed to be very patient with her and eventually she warmed up. Grant was great at communicating with us and sharing videos and pictures throughout the day. Harper loved running around Grant’s large property with another dog and Grant in the golf cart. They had so much fun and we feel good about leaving her there for a longer stay! Thank you so much!

Our little sweet dog is a rescue and can be quirky. Nicole and Jarrod have been so patient and loving towards her that we relax when she is with them because they make her feel secure and happy. They also have a wonderful daughter who has “adopted” Jessie and that just adds to her happy visit with them. Thank you all so much.

Kelsey watched our Kea for an entire week and did a fantastic job of treating her as their own with love and care. She sent pics everyday and was very responsive. Kea developed a hot spot (ikely due to anxiety, as boarding was new for her) on her leg and kelsey was quick to report it, kept it sprayed with ointment, and provided a lamp shade to prevent scratching. I am thankful for Kelsey and her family for caring for Kea so well and highly recommend her/them to any dog owner!

We have just picked up Jake from his first week-long stay with Linda. We could not be more delighted with the care she provided! Linda’s beautiful fully-fenced property provided ample space for Jake to run, play and explore with her very friendly and gentle dog Meeka. Linda and her husband are clearly dog-lovers who treat their guests like members of the family including snuggling with them during evening television time. I received daily photos and updates from Linda that provided peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation and still stay in contact with our pet. We have already booked time with Linda for other planned vacations and I enthusiastically recommend her!

Ruby was amazing! She was an excellent communicator and provided daily pics and videos of my boy Merlin. I know he had a blast hanging out with Cooper and the kiddos since he rarely gets much excitement when he’s home with me, haha! I will definitely use Ruby again in the future, and I know Merlin is already looking forward to the next visit!

If you are lucky enough to have Logan watch your dog baby, you’ll know they are so cared for, and walked, and truly cared for. Just the best best thing to you (a lady I’m going Stella doesn’t live Logan more than us now 🤣) 5+ stars and a big thank you!

We just moved to the area and finding a dog sitter for our energetic, beloved pup was top of our to do list. Finding Aron was such a blessing and far exceeded our expectations. Aron has a true love for dogs and an excellent understanding of their behavior. I have a lot of knowledge and experience with working with dogs so I know what to look for in a dog care professional. Aron is the real deal. He also has the added skill of knowing how to deal with people - which can be far more challenging! The peace of mind that comes with knowing your fur baby is being really loved and cared for while you are away can not be overstated. Aron’s flexibility with our changing schedule was also very appreciated. Tilly came home happy and exhausted. As it should be. We will definitely continue using Aron’s services. Highly recommended - just leave room for Tilly! ?

As an owner to a very anxious pup, Samantha absolutely set me at ease from the start. She assured me that my two pups would be in their own kennel with no line of sight to any other animals and her background with large animals meant she that she had no hesitation handling my 95lb pup. Samantha sent multiple updates throughout the day and photos whenever she had my pups out to play in her arena. I could not have asked for a better sitter.

Bridget was very responsive and did a great job. We will use her again in the future. One of our dogs needed special care and that was not a problem. Thank you Steve

Alesya is the best! It’s always nerve racking when we are taking a family trip and the need to pick a dog sitter becomes a need. We are always a little anxious and worried because we have two small dogs and they can be a handful. Alesya, made the experience very calming and reassuring. She made our first night, the most uncertain night, stress free and my dogs clicked with her quickly. Even though my dogs had really never spent time with other dogs, they had a chance to socialize and learn to play well with other dogs she was boarding. It was like they were on vacation as well. They looked healthy and happy when we picked them up and it was okviois they had been treated very well. I would highly recommend Alyesa to anyone looking for a good trustworthy and responsive sitter. She will be our family’s goto sitter anytime we travel. Thank you Alesya and family!!!

Emily was awesome. She took Dr Jones on a pretty short notice and provided excellent care. I enjoyed update some photos and really set my mind at ease. We'll use again and recommend!

Had a great experience with Tristi. She sent me pics during the day and my dog looked like he’s was living his best life. I will definitely ask her to watch my dog again in the future.

Pam was incredible with my pups & took them on such short notice when my other plans fell through!! She sent photo updates throughout their stay, welcomed them and took care of them like they were her own, & asked how she could uniquely make them feel like they were at home. Pam deserves 10 stars, not just 5!!! Thank you again, we will definitely be using her when needed in the future.

Loved Debra’s home! There is a large yard with a creek for pups to play in. Unfenced driveway area so dogs are leashed when outside and on walks. I gave Debra permission to take mine off lead while in the more private back area. I’m sure she had a great time. Debra’s Luna is a sweet companion pup. Debra sent pictures each day - it appeared a good time was had by all!
