Doggy Day Care in Piedmont

I’m amazed at how quickly our puppy warmed up to Kelly. Her home truly felt like a home away from home. For us, Kelly was peace of mind. She has the perfect setup to keep our Miles safe, comfortable, and happy, in that order. We also got so many wonderful updates, photos, and videos. We will absolutely be rebooking.

Gregg had a great time at Chrystal’s. I can tell he feels comfortable at her home. She was communicative, attentive to his needs and our instructions and gave us regular updates along the way.

If you're not interested in reading the long version, just know this - Tamara is amazing. You should be so lucky to have her watching your pet! Due to COVID restrictions and complications I ended up having to leave my pets back east while I established residence here in Berkeley in May 2020. I was away from my poor dog for a whole 6 months before I was able to bring her here, and because of all the big changes she developed an acute case of separation anxiety. She was barking all day long as soon as I left for work. You can imagine my distress ... and all the complaints from the neighbors. I devised a training plan to get my girl back on track with her confidence during home alone time, but the plan required that my pup not be left alone until she was trained to tolerate those longer time frames. So here I was, during COVID times, in a brand new place whee I didn't know anyone, looking for a doggy daycare that could provide the stability and consistency I needed. Enter Tamara, our hero! She totally understood my pups predicament and her shy demeanor, and she was so professional, warm, patient and kind about everything. As another reviewer said, she really does understand how to work with dogs (even if they are shy or quirky like my girl). She took Lou for long walks during the day so my training sessions in the evening were much more productive. Not to mention her dog Finn is a complete angel!!! We are so glad we found Miss Tamara.

Alex was wonderful with our dog, Murphy. Murphy is a bit of a homebody, but he was excited every morning when he realized we were heading to Alex's house and greeted her with effusive tailwagging. Alex was really flexible with timing, taking Murphy in at 7.30am, and kept him busy and happy all day. I highly recommend Alex - she's a real gem.

I needed a last minute dog sitter for the day, and Latricia's profile came up. She had great reviews that I'm standing by! She was super communicative and flexible for drop off and pick up times. Her space is super clean and all the pups seem happy and relaxed. When I picked up Marilyn, she was comfy on the couch and in good spirits. I will definitely be using Latricia again!

Alejandra was communicative and sent regular updates. She was sweet with my anxious dog, for instance, letting me know she was playing calming music during the day.

VJ and Matthew are the best. I feel so safe leaving my dog Willa with them, I always trust that she’s in good hands. They take such good care of her; as an example, when she’s finicky with food they’ll hand feed her (without me ever having suggested it). They’re great communicators and always send the cutest pictures of Willa cuddling with them and the dogs. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Our ferry was late and I ran out of cell phone battery and wasn't able to let Erlisa know that we would be more than an hour late to pick up Snowy, so we appreciated very much that she was accommodating. Snowy came home happy and alert, so that's always a sign she had a good time. Thank you, Erlisa.

Mary is a doll so attentive and thoughtful. She even thought of ways saving time. Coco seemed more relaxed and well adjusted for having been at the "babysitter" than she normally is. I would rebook Mary hands down again.

Donald is awesome! He is a very good communicator and took very good care of our dogs. He took them for a walk twice today like they normally do and sent me a lot of photos while we were away. Highly recommend him!
