House Sitting in Rancho Santa Fe

This was our first time using Rover, we always take our boy with us everywhere we go so we were extremely nervous about having someone in our home and taking care of him while we were gone. Zeus is a 90lb Doberman and full of energy therefore we were concerned about how someone else would handle him. Danielle handled him like a champ! She was very communicative and followed all instructions & requests....believe me, there were a ton :) We received daily email updates with photos which made us feel at ease and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation without any worries! We are so grateful to have found Danielle! She will be the only person we ever look to when we need someone to care for him. Danielle, thanks a million for taking such good care of our Baby, Zeus!

Ellyn is super down to earth, extremely competent and most of all a clear animal lover. Our conure and mini Aussie are a handful and she handled them with ease. Thankful to have found her, highly recommend!

Cary was wonderful. She kept us informed, asked questions and sent photos. The dogs looked happy and well cared for. I definitely recommend Cary for any dog sitting or house sitting needs. We would book her services again!

Jordan saved the day for us when she came to dog sit Luna for the first time, in more ways than one! Jordan was excellent at following instructions for Luna, who although young and fairly easy to hang with has some strict eating and med schedules. At the last minute Luna had an injury that required some extra care, Jordan absorbed all the new details without issue and took incredible care of Luna. Jordan was the perfect communicator, letting us know how Luna was doing and keeping us up to date on her whereabouts when she had to leave the home. It gave us a much needed sense of ease and gained our trust. Coming home, the place was clean and just as we left it. We are very much planning to hire her again and utilize her services for Luna long term.

Jealous that our 10-week puppy Sisi had way more fun and seemed delighted to hang with Serena than with us. 10/10 but would not recommend unless you want to be relegated to #2 on your pups favorite people list. This was Sisi’s first ever sitting experience and it couldn’t have gone smoother. Serena helped us for 5 hours while we out for a dinner event. Gave us plenty of helpful tips too!

I hardly know where to begin in reviewing Wendy. A few sentences could never fully express how exceptional she is. Before my trip, I was very worried about leaving my dog, Gidget. She was recently diagnosed with diabetes and requires insulin injections twice a day. I honestly wondered if I would ever feel comfortable traveling again with her special healthcare needs. Wendy went far above and beyond anything I could have expected. She took the time to learn how to properly give Gidget her insulin injections and made sure they were administered on schedule every day. But her care didn’t stop there. While I was away, Wendy treated both my home and my dog as if they were her own. She brought my trash cans in and out when she noticed the neighborhood schedule, kept my home spotless, and sent multiple photos and updates every single day. She took Gidget on walks, gave her plenty of love and attention, and made sure she was happy and comfortable. When I returned home after nine days, my house was immaculate, and Gidget was clearly happy, healthy, and well cared for. In fact, I’m not entirely sure Gidget wanted me back! She absolutely adored having Wendy there. If you have a special-needs pet, or simply want complete peace of mind knowing that both your home and your beloved pet are in caring, capable hands, look no further than Wendy. She is trustworthy, compassionate, responsible, and truly one of a kind. I will absolutely be using Wendy again and again. She is an absolute gem, and I am so grateful to have found someone who allows me to travel without worrying about Gidget. I honestly cannot imagine a better pet sitter.

Stephanie was the best! Kuma loved her immediately. He was so excited to see her after our introduction meeting. She went over and above to care for him. Kuma has a new bestie. Thank you Stephanie 🩷

Shirlene was proactive in communicating and took great care of our baby.We appreciated the many photos and her quick responses to our questions. We hope that she and Shelby can stay with Gio again in the future.

Beckie did an excellent job taking care of our two brother cats. One cat needs a twice daily inhaler dose and the other is an attention hog so she lived at the house and made sure they got what they needed including their individual diets. She took care of the large tank of fish and the daily food regimen required there. Another important service she provided was daily watering of my many outdoor potted plants to keep them happy in the summer heat. She stayed in close touch by text and was all around a very confidence inspiring sitter. We sincerely hope Beckie is available to man the fort next time we need help!

Eli has been our consistent care giver for Murphy. We continue to book with Eli because he shows how much he cares for our dog daily… nice walks, cuddles, and knowing her moods and needs. He offers kind advice when needed and always has Murphy’s needs in mind. Highly recommend.

Awesome experience! You took such great care of my girls. Not everyone understands how to care for a Belgian Malinois, and I have two of them! Plus the cats!! Azucena was great. She had great reviews and thought I’d try her services out. She watches both dogs and cats. Even though it looked like more dogs from her reviews she had pics of her with cats. All great reviews. I had several pics she had taken of Zen (my cat) while away and that was very reassuring. No issues and definitely will consider using her again. Thank you!

We knew from the minute that we met Marisol that she was going to give our pets the attention and love that they need while we are away! She was so wonderful coming over to meet them before we confirmed our first visit with her and was beyond detail oriented in caring for them! We have a senior cat and a naughty little pup who are t always the easiest to care for. We never had to worry and received so many photos and videos and updates every day! Can’t recommend Marisol enough and would definitely have her back.

Bob stayed at our house and took care our dogs. We couldn't be happier with the care they received! We got photo updates through our whole trip and I think they had the time of their lives. I can't recommend him enough!

Lauren went above and beyond in every way. She kept us updated throughout the day with detailed messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. What really stood out was her initiative. She took out our large trash bins when she noticed the neighbors had, tidied up areas we did not outline as her responsibility, and proactively asked about things like watering our plants, all without being defined in the scope we discussed all to deliver better service. She was incredibly attentive to our animals and our home, and treated our dog and kittens like they were her own. We couldn't recommend her more highly for anyone looking for a sitter they can truly trust with their pets and their home.
