Dog Boarding in Richmond

Wenxin (Lucia) and her partner were absolutely amazing with our Yorkie, Nala. She stayed with them for 8 nights. Nala sometimes gets anxiety in a new location, and we were concerned about leaving her but, but Lucia was phenomenal every step of the way. She arranged for all of us to meet (including her dogs) and welcomed us into her home so Nala could get familiar before her actual stay. Their home is warm and inviting, and they go above and beyond in ensuring all the dogs they care for are safe and happy. The daily updates (including photos and videos) were so helpful in assuaging our concerns about Nala feeling comfortable. We could not recommend them enough!

Julie and Adam are terrific! So kind, personable, thoughtful, and relaxed. They have a lovely fully fenced backyard where a dog can explore with lots of garden items to sniff. They took time to ask questions and are just so easy to interact with. Kona had a great time, which means I got to have a great time too. Thank you!

My dog Bentley had great stays with Ross, Melissa and Millie. I love their dog friendly home and caring attitude. They provided lots of fun updates with pics and videos, which put my mind at ease. Great experience.

Luna is a wonderful dog sitter! Cosmo, my dog was thrilled and happy to have stayed with her and her lovely dog, Jim! Jim was also the perfect fur host, showing Cosmo where they should play and that it was okay to run around and play together. Luna has a large and lovely yard and Cosmo enjoyed the serenity of the yard and home. Cosmo can be shy and aloof, and he does not react well to negative energy. But, he warmed up to Luna because of her thoughtful and positive approach to care giving. I trusted her to take good care of him. And, she did! Cosmo can be a velcro dog as he is with us practically 24/7, so it eased our anxiety to know that she was there for him. Thank you Luna for taking good care of Cosmo. Much aloha, Diane and Philip G.

Ashish and his family were fantastic hosts for our cheagle, Buddy. He clearly enjoyed his tiime in their home and Ashish shared lots of wonderful photos and videos to keep us in the loop.

Louis was great with my shy 8-year-old pittie. It normally takes at least a full day for Thor to warm up to new people, but after just a 15-minute introduction at Louis’s home, he acted like he’d lived there his entire life. Louis has a real gift for making anxious dogs feel comfortable and safe.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Thank you Te’Arie for watching our energetic pup for 2 weeks! Te’Arie communicated with us throughout her time there, making us feel great that Maisy was well cared for while we were gone.

Solid dog boarding! They took xochi out on several walks a day and tried to send at least one picture a day which I appreciated. My puppy is normally scared of large dogs but it seemed Zaz and xochi were able to coexist with no problem!

Allora and her husband Oliver are so sweet and understanding of anxious dogs. My dog Laila is reactive to dogs and can be afraid of men, but glad to hear that she's enjoying her time with their dog Boba and snuggling with Oliver. Allora sent lots of updates throughout the 2-day trial which I truly appreciate. I'm confident that her long stay with them will be successful!

This was our second stay with Maria, and my dog was excited to see her again. He ran straight into her house and immediately rolled over to get some pets from her. I felt confident leaving my dog in her care.

Michael was amazing with my little pup! I left her with him for a whole week and I can tell she had a great time. Michael also sends a lot of pictures and is very responsive. Highly recommend!

Kiarash was awesome. He took great care of our high energy dog. Lots of walks and sent us ton of photos and videos. Already thinking of booking with him again for our next trip. Highly recommend!

Luciana and Rob are just wonderful! They are such warmhearted people who take amazing care of our dogs. They really go above and beyond to make sure both our dogs feel safe, secure, and well cared for and we can tell that our dogs feel loved whenever they’re with Luciana and Rob. We can’t thank them enough for giving us a greater peace of mind while we’re away because our dogs are in the best hands. We always recommend them to anyone who’s in need of a sitter.

Kai just spent 5 days with Radha while I was on a work trip and Radha was awesome! Flexible when I had to drop Kai off early, sent me pictures in the morning and evenings, and gave Kai so much love! I feel so confident leaving Kai with Radha and know she will be taken care of 💓

Mariola took care of our special needs dog for 3 weeks. I’ve never seen our little Luna sadder to leave a sitter :( Mariola communicated with us regularly and went above and beyond to make sure Luna was comfortable and well taken care of. We’ll definitely be going back!

Ana is a wonderful petcare provider. She is patient, caring, and very dependable. She connects easily with pets and always makes sure they are safe and well cared for. I trusted her completely and truly appreciated her dedication. I highly recommend Ana to any family looking for quality petcare.

Catherine was amazing. She cared for our 7-month-old puppy, Cricket, for a whole week while we were away, and we felt completely at ease and new that she was in great hands. From when we first met her, it was clear that Catherine is a real dog person -- warm attentive and genuinely excited to spend time with Cricket. It was obvious that she truly cared about her and enjoyed having her. Her dog, Kizmet was also a sweet role model for Cricket. Catherine sent the cutest photos and videos of Kizmet and Cricket cuddling and napping together, along with daily updates from the dog park and their adventures. She sent photos, videos, and little notes every day, which really put me at ease knowing how happy and well cared for Cricket was. The day we came back we arrived home at 8:30 at night and she tired Cricket out with lots of park visits so she would be tired when we got home. And she even gave Cricket a bath before pickup! We’re so grateful to have found Catherine. Nothing better than truly feeling at ease when traveling knowing that your dog is in such loving hands. Thank you, Catherine! You're the best. We'll definitely be in touch again the next time we're away.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Danielle and her partner Joel. I was definitely a little anxious leaving my little rescue pup, Penny, with them overnight for the first time but they immediately made me feel so at ease with lots of updates, photos, and videos. I could tell Penny felt right at home. They even took her on a day trip for Father's Day which meant a lot to me! I'll definitely be booking with Danielle again.
