House Sitting in San Diego

This is my first time using Rover and I'm so grateful I found Vanessa. I have an old blind, Australian Cattle Dog with a heart condition who is selective with people and dogs. He warmed up to Vanessa quickly during our meet and greet, and I fully trusted him in her care. We also have a cat who quickly fell in love her. Vanessa was a great listener as I outlined my dog's quirks, and asked if she could take videos of how I administer the medication etc. to keep his routine as normal as possible. She was professional, great at communication, quick to respond, and arrived on time (actually early). A couple of days before we left, I asked her to come earlier than the proposed time and she was able to accommodate that no problem. The house was left in great condition - the animals were happy and safe, and I will definitely book Vanessa again in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of our pack!

Aleksandra is incredible! She truly loves & cares for our pup like it’s her own, and ensures he was comfortable and happy while we were gone. Thank you! Rylo can’t wait to see you again :)

Andrea stayed at our home with our 3 dogs while we were away for a weekend. She was so communicative and sent updates and pictures throughout her stay. Our dogs loved hanging out with her too :) we will definitely have Andrea back for future trips!

Sarah did a great job. Sends lots of pictures, communicates frequently, Colby loved her, and the house was clean when I got back. I plan to use Sarah for future dog sitting and would recommend her to anyone in the area.

Halle puppy sat for us 2 days in a row. She’s amazing! What we appreciated: She’s very responsive, was always on time or early, and made sure she was clear about instructions and details. Jinx is 6mo old and has some training but is still very much a work in progress. Halle has been patient and kind and we will definitely book her again as needs arise.

We've used Rosa three times so far and each stay has been wonderful. She is responsive and very easy to communicate with. Most importantly, Shaka is well taken care of and enjoys his time with her. Would highly recommend

Anna was very attentive with my dogs. A very good communicator with an eye for detail.

Mara was great this second time around with the gang. She kept us updated with photos and videos and was very courteous with our itinerary and the delays that came with it. Will definitely be booking with Mara again. Thank you! ♥️

Paige was great. Not only were the cats well taken care of our house was in tip top shape when we returned. She was attentive and checked in daily. We found our cat sitter!

Crystal took great care of our dog and cat while we were away for the week. During our meet and greet, she took notes and asked questions about their care, which really showcased her level of attentiveness. She took the dog out for regular walks and made sure he was okay throughout the day. Our dog can be very barky when he meets new people, but Crystal wasn’t phased and he warmed up to her very quickly. She brought in the mail each day and handled general housekeeping. I was so grateful to find the house clean and tidy when we returned; it made coming home that much nicer! I felt the animals were in safe hands, and will definitely rebook if Crystal is available next time we are traveling!

Cynthia is the best dog and house sitter. She’s a great communicator and the best caretaker of our sweet boy. I would hire Cynthia again and again!!

Sara was an excellent sitter! She was reliable, communicated clearly, and my dog was very relaxed when I got back home. She sent lots of updates and pictures. Sarah is somebody I would absolutely use again and not hesitate to recommend. She did a wonderful job and my place was cleaner when I returned than I left it.
