House Sitting in San Rafael

This was the second time that Kathryn has watched over Peanut. We never have to worry when she watches over our kitten. Peanut is always so comfortable and playful with Kathryn - it makes it easier to enjoy our time away when we know she is in such good hands. Not only does Kathryn take great care of Peanut, our house is somehow always more sparkling when we return which makes for a great homecoming.

Dave is a great guy, wonderful dog walker and pet sitter. He is communicative, responsible, calm, and loving with our dogs. I highly recommend him.

Such a wonderful, easy experience with Pat! She loved our dog like he was her own. She sent us daily updates and pictures, and she said our dog even slept in the bed with her and gave belly rubs, so it was quite the relief! We will absolutely book Pat again!

Our first experience with Rover... and we couldn't have met a nicer person or a more wonderful dog sitter. Ariela was so patient with our twin Maltese pups. She was right on time for the meet and greet as she was for the dog sitting appointment. Ariela stayed in touch with us leading up to.the assignment and gave us an update early on that evening. We highly recommend Ariela.

Krystle was amazing, a huge help for us with our new puppy. Our dog Orla took to her straight away with. She put us at ease that our dog was being cared for with no issues. Krystle took the time to connect before our meet and work out our needs. We would fully recommend Krystle.

Great care of my dear dog and house. Excellent with him when he got a safety pin stuck in his foot- got him to the vet right away and he was fine. Great communication.

Jodi was incredible with our dog and our home. She sent daily photos and gave Jackson so much loving attention. She cleaned up after him when he was sick and kept me informed about his health and well-being. She took great care of our house and went above and beyond my high expectations. This was the first time we'd ever hired a pet/house-sitter for an extended vacation and I don't know if we'll ever go back to double-boarding our cat and dog. We scored the jackpot with Jodi! From the very first meet and greet with Jodi, I felt all the warm and fuzzy vibes you want when you're thinking of leaving pets behind in anyone's care. She sent us a detailed questionnaire so she could be in tune with all the pet routines. And she arrived as promised the day we flew out and left shortly before we got home and the house was cleaner than when we'd left it! We could tell the pets had been really loved and cared for. They were totally at ease and not stressed (the opposite of how they are after boarding at outside facilities). Jodi also sent the perfect amount of updates. Some of them were so funny (she had our pets' numbers from the get go) that I read them to my young kiddos who also got a kick out of them. Our cat is very feisty and she gave him the space he needed to adjust, which was super kind and thoughtful. She also dealt with a surprise visit from our landlords like a champ! We cannot say enough good things about Jodi and we would absolutely want her to be our vacation pet whisperer again!!! Thank you Jodi! And our pets say meow and woof, too!!!

We’ve used Samantha several times now for both pet sitting and house sitting, and she has been absolutely wonderful every time. Our elderly dog Trixie requires a little extra care and attention, and Samantha is so patient, attentive, and loving with her. It gives us such peace of mind knowing Trixie is in such good hands while we’re away. What really amazed us is that she even managed to win over our very shy cat, Noah, who normally hides from everyone. The fact that he comes out for her says everything. She’s reliable, communicative, thoughtful, and clearly genuinely cares about the animals she watches. We always come home to happy pets and a well cared for house. We highly recommend her!
