Dog Boarding in Solana Beach

We have an older, smaller dog, 15 years, so we were looking for a place where she could relax, but also access to outdoor space. Takako and Eric have two older dogs as well who are super chill so it was a perfect match for Roxy. Takako and Eric were very accommodating, relaxed and easy to work with. They really love dogs and their home is really perfect for having guest dogs. Roxie will be back to see Brownie and Kinako again!

May & Marc were kind, communicative, and incredibly helpful when coordinating the stay for our pup. Our dog, Pickles, especially loved all the frequent walks and playtime with their dog Pepper! We would recommended May and Marc for anyone looking for a boarding option and will absolutely be using them in the future.

Harley absolutely loved spending the weekend with Olivia and Sebastian while we were out of town. They took excellent care of her and treated our dog like it was their own. They went above and beyond, even taking her to the beach and then giving her a bath and towel rubdown after. Harley received the Royal treatment all weekend and had a blast playing outside with their sweet dog Zuko as well.

Mya was amazing with our dog, Bodie. She sent us consistent updates and photos. We will definitely be hoping to book with her again in the future.

Absolutely thrilled with the care Kimberly and her family always provide for Rizzo! From the moment we met, I knew she genuinely loves dogs and has a natural ability to love them like they are her own! Rizzo is a shy pup, but he loves going to Kimberly’s home! Kimberly was incredibly attentive, keeping me updated with adorable photos and detailed messages about their daily activities. She went above and beyond, ensuring Rizzo had plenty of exercise, playtime, and cuddles. Kimberly's professionalism, kindness, and dedication are unmatched. She cares for the dogs like they are part of her family. Rizzo loves being there, and Kimberly is the only person I trust to take care of him. She's so warm that she's become a friend whom I care deeply about. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for top-notch pet care!

Zari has easily become our go-to dog sitter for vacations and emergencies from now on. Zari provides very thorough care to all dogs she cares for. When our dog ran out of eye drops, she called the vet right away and let us know. She provides updates everyday and sends pictures. Our dog loves her and we’re so happy that he has a home away from home that he can go to.

My wife & I had an amazing experience with Alana and her husband Eric! My mom or a sitter in Pasadena normally takes care of our little Pom - Bella when we are out of town. My mom was traveling with us this time so she wasn’t able to watch her. Our other option was to take her to a sitter in Pasadena. She was the breeder of a previous Pom. We trust her with the care of Bella because we know that she has experience with taking care of Poms. Unfortunately she was not available. This left us with a predicament because these are the only two people that we trust in taking care of our little girl. My sister recommended that I give Rover a try. She travels a lot and she said that she found a good sitter for her dog by using the APP. There were several sitters in my area that met my search criteria with the exception of one or two things. I reached out to them and made arrangements to meet with them. They all seemed to be qualified and appeared to be good sitters based on reviews. Unfortunately they were not the perfect fit for us. I then increased my search area and stumbled upon Alana’s listing. I was hesitant at first because she had only 3 reviews but I loved the idea that she sits only one pet at a time. I made arrangements to meet with her. Let me tell you, I was sold as soon as I met Alana and Eric. You can tell that her and her husband are dog lovers and their house was really clean! I knew that my search was over as soon as I met them. Alana and Eric made everything so easy for me on the day of the drop off. Eric helped me bring in my dog’s supplies and her beds. I gave them a quick run down of my dog’s daily routine and we were all set. They provided me pictures and an update on the first evening as well as daily updates. Pickup was just as easy as the drop off. Everything was cleaned and packed up by the time I arrived. Bella loved Alana & Eric! This made for a good trip because we knew that she was in great hands. Bella loves to play with her toys and have her belly rubbed. She received an abundance of both of these things. She was definitely pampered and well taken care of. We are so glad that we found Alana & Eric. We won’t have to drive all the way to Pasadena the next time we need a sitter!

Linda is such a sweetheart! We could tell she is such a dog lover and goes above and beyond caring for our pup. She was so accommodating with our needs (early morning) and was even waiting for us outside when we came to drop our pup off. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone! Thanks Linda!

We recently boarded our senior dog with Mustafa, and he did a great job taking care of him. Our dog has some special medical needs, and he made sure to follow his medication schedule closely. He kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which really helped put our minds at ease while we were away. When we picked our dog up, he was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. It’s great that we found Mustafa to look after our dog, especially given his age and health issues. We look forward to having him dog sit for us in the future.

Finnegan loved his 2 week stay with Cherie and Luna. He made new friends and when I was going to the car with him after his stay, he turned around and went back to her front door. He wanted to stay. She was so great, sent lots of wonderful pictures. He’ll definitely go back

Kris was amazing with Boomer! I felt so comfortable leaving him in her care. I was out of the country for 10 days and knew he was in the best of hands. I got just the right amount of communication/ pictures via texts. I highly recommend her for a dog sitter.

This was our first time using Rover and we were a little nervous about leaving our 7 month old puppy for the first time but Shannon definitely made us feel comfortable. We will definitely be rebooking in the future. She did an amazing job with updating us and sending pictures. Was very understanding when I needed to change the drop off time. We had such a great experience with Priscila! She took amazing care of Otis while we were away. She was so kind and flexible, kept in touch with daily pictures and updates, and really went above and beyond to make sure Otis was happy and comfortable.
