House Sitting in Somis

First time having Alex care for our pets and we are not disappointed; he was caring and thoughtful from throughout the entire process, from scheduling to taking care of the pets. Our dog is stubborn and very untrusting; he was patient with her until he earned her trust. Will not hesitate to have Alex take care of our pets in the near future.

Julie always takes such great care of my little girl. She provides regular updates and photos, follows the instructions, and is respectful of the house. I will definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a competent, compassionate house sitter.

Sarah takes outstanding care of our older dog, and is never intimidated if she has to administer pills or a complicated feeding regimen. It’s a huge relief that we can be away and never worry about Lilly’s care!

Austin was really great. This was our first time using him overnight but our guys did so great with him. He took care of our house and offered the boys plenty of attention/exercise. We are always hesitant to vacation because we can’t take them most times but Austin made our decision a positive one. He left the house clean. Was respectful. And kept us updated with photos or video on our furbabies. We will definitely be using him again. Highly recommend. Thank you again Austin. You were fantastic

Kaitlin kept our kitties fed & safe and the house was in order. She is very affordable compared to other sitters. If I could make two suggestions: 1) I think Kaitlin could charge more and 2) I think she should provide more detailed updates like daily photos and a few personal details about how the pets are doing. I had to ask and she often gave more generic responses like "they are great." It's reassuring to hear more specifics when working with someone for the first time such as "Tiago was up late knocking things off the counters but nothing broke and he otherwise seems happy" etc. Then it's easy to imagine how life is going for the little ones!

Amanda watched our mini Aussie (Ranger) and our house for a week while we got married in Maui, Hawaii. Amanda went above and beyond with text updates (including photos and videos), offering to do extra chores/tasks around the house, buying Ranger a fun new dog toy, and being flexible with our travel plans since we decide to come home a little earlier. Natalie was fantastic! She went above and beyond to care for our 2 dogs. She took them on multiple walks each day and left our house in immaculate condition. We will definitely contact Natalie again!

We are so glad to have found Kevin to take care of our high-maintenance Parsons Russell terrier in our house on an ongoing basis. The breed is extremely high energy and demanding, and ours is also very reactive to most stimuli outside the home: other dogs, cats, bikes, motorcycles, skateboards, birds, you name it. Kennel boarding isn't an option. Kevin is great with Jibo; he's calm, patient, caring, and understands the breed. Jibo loves spending time with him. We feel very fortunate and relieved to have someone we trust in our home to take care of him.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Autumn was reliable, caring, and clearly loved our pups. They were well taken care of, happy, and we got great updates. Highly recommend!
