House Sitting in Thousand Oaks

Austin was really great. This was our first time using him overnight but our guys did so great with him. He took care of our house and offered the boys plenty of attention/exercise. We are always hesitant to vacation because we can’t take them most times but Austin made our decision a positive one. He left the house clean. Was respectful. And kept us updated with photos or video on our furbabies. We will definitely be using him again. Highly recommend. Thank you again Austin. You were fantastic

This is our 2nd extended sitting with Taylor for a long vacation and it couldn’t have gone smoother; we had such wonderful experience! Taylor was super proactive, professional, honest and communicative. I can’t say enough about her, but highly recommended.

Stevie was amazing! My special needs senior dog has a lot of quirks and I haven’t left her with anyone for the past year because I didn’t think I would be able to trust her with anyone, but Stevie was great! She was very understanding and respectful of my dog growling a little when someone first comes over, and needing to let my dog approach her. She gave my dog her medicine multiple times per day, took her to the park, and proactively sent me lots or pictures an videos without me ever having to ask how they were doing. She was always super responsive over text when I messaged her about anything. She was also super adaptable and understanding when my housemate who was supposed to be away for the week came home (meaning Stevie no longer had the place to herself as planned) and she even dealt with a crazy situation where we had a power outage for 2 days because of winds, and she let me know that she was making plans to evacuate with my dog if needed (which thankfully wasn’t). She took the time ahead of time to learn more about my dog and our needs, which put me at ease. We FaceTimed first and then she came over to meet my dog, taking the time to make sure she understood all of her medical needs and preferred games and hobbies. She also was mindful of small details and did as I asked — bringing a few treats to her first meeting with my dog and leaving something with her scent on it here until she came back. I’m very grateful to have connected with Stevie and to know that I have someone I trust to watch my special needs dog. Highly recommend!

Rachel was amazing with Frankie and Pearl. Frankie takes medication and she took care of that and provided updates to make sure I knew everything was going great! I am so thankful to have found Rachel and can’t recommend her more highly!

David is The best! We Had a family emergency and knowing David made late accommodations for Chloe! That brought great peace during that time!

Great communicator. Kept our space better than when we left and our pup was so happy. Will definitely work with her again!

Sierra was amazing. We were gone for six days. Sierra cared for our two dogs and two cats. Sierra’s communication w us was perfect. We never worried for a second. The house was in clean condition when we returned. We are so happy with the care our animals received from Sierra. Will definitely use her services in the future. Thank you so much Sierra!!!!!

Zoe is such a sweetheart. We are so thankful to have left our Lola girl with Zoe. We felt like our pup was safe and had a lot of fun with Zoe! Lola and Zoe instantly connected which was so nice to see. Also, our house was left SPOTLESS! We are so glad we chose Zoe and will continue to work with her for every trip we take!

Kaitlin kept our kitties fed & safe and the house was in order. She is very affordable compared to other sitters. If I could make two suggestions: 1) I think Kaitlin could charge more and 2) I think she should provide more detailed updates like daily photos and a few personal details about how the pets are doing. I had to ask and she often gave more generic responses like "they are great." It's reassuring to hear more specifics when working with someone for the first time such as "Tiago was up late knocking things off the counters but nothing broke and he otherwise seems happy" etc. Then it's easy to imagine how life is going for the little ones!

Hayley was a fantastic house sitter! Excellent communication and, most importantly, our dog was stress-free and happy when we returned. We will 100% ask Hayley to stay at our house again the next time we are out of town.
