House Sitting in Toluca Lake

Alisa is always on time, communicates throughout her stay, and leaves our home exactly how we left it. Our animals love hanging out with her.

Joanne was amazing. There was meet and greet before the actual day of dog sitting. She gave us frequent updates and pictures of our little one throughout the day. She arrived on time in the morning. She followed all our instructions. Happy to have met her through Rover.

Lane was absolutely amazing and all 4 of our animals love her!! She stayed on top of 4 different feeding schedules, a bunch of medications (including eye drops, pills, and even a cat inhaler), and navigating our unique kitchen rules. The animals all warmed to her so quickly, even our shyer cats who came running up to her by the end of her stay. She sent the best updates with such cute pictures and all the important details which helped put my anxious pet mom self at ease. It made our trip so much better knowing our pets were being taken care of by someone who cares just as much as us. Already booking our next house sitting stay with her!

Shenelle was awesome!! She house sat and cared for our dog for a three-day trip. Communication couldn't have been better, she was flexible, amazing with our pup, and consistently put us fully at ease. We will definitely be asking her to consider sitting for us again in the future.

Simply the best...

Georgina was a fantastic house sitter for our senior dog, Gelato. Very communicative, caring, and reliable. It’s great having someone to trust with our little man while we’re out for a few days. She sent pics and videos and left the house clean and Gelato very happy and cared for. Thanks so much!

Hayley is so wonderful and has really built a relationship with our girl Sadie. We know we’re in excellent hands when she’s watching our sweet baby. We will be booking Hayley again! :)

Niki was INCREDIBLE. She was so responsible, checking in with us multiple times a day and sending photos and updates. We specifically asked her to take our girl Disco on multiple walks a day, and she went above and beyond and took our baby on hikes and on day trips. Our pup looked so happy in all the photos she sent along! Niki went above and beyond with her care and we WILL be booking her again!

i’m leaving this review because i wanted to recommend kate as a host from rover for your pets. kate watched my dog and my cat staying at my place. the experience with kate was great so. she sent me updates a couple times a day and my neighbors with dogs have seen her with my pup and said she was very friendly. before she came to stay, kate came by to meet me and the pets. that helped me feel extra comfortable trusting her at my house. when i got home, the house was extremely clean, she had washed and reapplied the sheets from the bed she stayed on, and the kitchen was spotless. most importantly, my pets seemed happy and completely calm. i highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again!

Madeline was a wonderful sitter for my cat Norbert! He can be shy around new people, but he was very comfortable with Madeline right from the start. Madeline came by for a meet and greet with Norbert before the stay which was really appreciated. She sent me lots of photos and a detailed report each day with fun stories about what Norbert was up to (he has a lot of energy and she played with him a ton - yay!). Madeline was very communicative and is a natural with animals. I definitely recommend her. And she left my place super clean. Thank you Madeline!

Ju Ju is fantastic! My dog has sever separation anxiety and she does a fantastic job nurturing and taking care of my pup! She provides fantastic updates and goes above and beyond when it comes to pet care. I highly recommend Ju Ju!

This is the second time Emily has stayed over with my baby boy Gimli (in addition to plenty of other drop in visits over the last few months), and I feel so lucky to have found her. She takes such amazing care of him and understands his needs so well. He’s a tricky guy and she does a great job playing with him and giving him all the enrichment he asks for (and puts up with some of his temper tantrums). She also goes above and beyond with being helpful around the house while I’m out of town - and this particular long stay, she connected with my other catsitter to coordinate while I was out of the country which was so helpful. She also sends me plenty of updates (knowing how anxious I am!), I can’t tell you what a relief it is to have her staying with my boy.
