House Sitting in Toro Canyon

Jessica gave excellent care and left our home in immaculate condition. I just have a question abt. The cost of adding on an extra day. We had an emergency situation where we had needed an extra sitter day and were told it would cost an extra $745 for that one added day. Is this the policy of Rover to add this exorbitant amount? I actually declined it and made other arrangements with family. I will say Jessica and her two children really helped my Mysti to stay calm and happy during our absence. Thank you Rover!

Neyda was truly an angel sent by God to help us in a difficult situation. We were only in town for the weekend, for my mother-in-law’s funeral, and desperately needed a sitter to help with our disabled Basset Hound. She went above and beyond to make sure he was cared for and kept me in the loop, via text, with everything that went on while we were at the service. The fact that I knew Winston was in great hands while we had to be away was a true blessing. I would rebook with Neyda in a heartbeat!

I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl! We were visiting Santa Barbara for a family wedding with our 17 year-old dachshund who has been suffering from pretty severe separation anxiety after we lost her sister three months ago. Cheryl came to our hotel and stayed with our little girl while we were at all the wedding festivities. She provided updates throughout the evenings, including photos, and was patient with my frequent texts about how my baby was doing without me. There's no way we could have attended the events, let alone enjoyed them, without feeling like our girl was in good hands and we so appreciated Cheryl's kindness and understanding. The next time we're in Santa Barbara I wouldn't hesitate to book Cheryl again!

Katherine let us know that she was on the job and everything was fine. We came home to a happy healthy dog and a neat house.

Lisa was wonderful to work with and our dog loved her! She was very communicative and even sent pictures and updates during her stay. We will definitely look to Lisa again next time we need pet sitting!

Ann was wonderful for all of our pets. She was great at handling our rambunctious pup Samson (he was very tired when we got home from playing ball with Ann, and it's no small feat to tire him out!), and she was kind and lovely to our pomimo Phoebe. She also connected with both of our cats, one of whom usually takes a little while to warm up to people. Not to Ann, on whose lap she sat almost instantly! She's fantastic with all sorts of animals, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants someone who will not just sit with your pets but help you work with them. Thanks, Ann!

We needed a pet sitter last minute after our others sitters were unavailable and are glad they were so we could meet Chase! He communicated well from the start and made the process seamless for us. Our three dogs connected to him immediately at the meet and greet which made it an easy yes. He asked good questions to understand our routine and shared photos of our pack being absolutely spoiled. He was very kind, professional and would highly recommend!

James and Aurora are awesome!!! They took such good care of our sweet little chihuahua mix, who can be a bit slow to warm up. But they were so patient and sweet with her and they bonded so well, which is a huge testament to how wonderful they both are with animals! James and Aurora were communicative and took great care of our place, too. I can’t recommend them enough!!!

Chrystal was wonderful with our older dog and cat! She took our dog on lots of walks and gave our cat plenty of snuggles. We will definitely ask Chrystal to watch them again!

Debra is amazing! Not only were we able to enjoy our holiday knowing that our fur baby was happy and being cared for, but we came back to a house that was even cleaner than we left it. Debra went above and beyond, even leaving us some food covers for us to better store half-eaten cans in the fridge. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We hope to have Debra back again soon!
