Dog Boarding in Truckee

Kym was so wonderful and took such good care of Belly! She was very communicative and flexible and shared tons of photos and videos! We felt super comfortable leaving belly with her :)

I just picked up Sunny from Kathy’s and i am so happy with the care & love she gave to our sweet pup. Sunny stayed with Kathy 4 nights and it was perfect for Sunny. Kathy has a beautiful inviting home that she welcomed us into to make sure we felt comfortable with leaving Sunny with her. I highly recommend Kathy’s services and will be using her in the future. Melanie took fantastic care of my pup Steve! You can tell that she truly loves dogs and cares deeply about them. She sent pictures and video of him playing happily in her large property, it was so nice to know he was having a great time. Sometimes when I’ve picked Steve up after boarding from other sitters I could tell that he was happy to leave, but in this case it was clear that he really likes Melanie and had a blast. He came back so happy and SO TIRED! He slept like a stone for the rest of the day! Melanie has great communication and was very flexible with pickup and drop off. I highly recommend Melanie and we will definitely be seeing her again!

Scott was great. From the moment I dropped-off my dog, I knew he was in good hands. First off, my dog Leroy is 100-pounds of knuckle-walking muscle. Lots of people (inc. past sitters) are shocked & a little terrified by his appearance; Scott was NOT. He let Leroy run right into his home and let him sniff and explore to his heart's content. When I told Scott that Leroy usually sleeps in bed with me, he said "Great! Leroy will do the same here". And when Leroy let out an explosion of watery poop in Scott's garden, Scott was entirely unfazed. He said "rice & chicken for dinner? is that okay?" Of course it was okay. It was exactly what I would do. Ultimately, i told Scott to treat Leroy like he treats his own dog Brea & I'm pretty sure he did just that.

Melissa was so loving and caring with my little dog. She even brushed him and made him look so handsome. Sherman came home happy and healthy.

Nayla is wonderful. Her location is perfect for dogs that like to adventure outside. Nayla kept us up to date, with pictures and videos, throughout the stay. It was greatly comforting to know our dog was well cared for, well exercised, a d with dog companions in a home setting. This was our first Rover experience and we are extremely impressed!!

Scout had a great time staying with Payton. She was communicative and flexible in allowing us to pick him up a little later when travel plans changed

I was a little apprehensive about leaving my puppy with a stranger. She has been boarded overnight twice before. This was my first time leaving my puppy with a family instead of a dog daycare boarding facility. All my worries were needless and my one-year-old Puppy had a great time. Aaron and Nicole have 2 adorable kids and my puppy was well taken care of.

I’m afraid to say too many nice things as their schedule may fill up & there are so many nice things to say I don’t even know where to begin! Just AWESOME! Thanks you three!

Luke took great care of our boy who had way less anxiety than other boarding facilities. Luke is a very good person to trust your dog with and we will be using him in the future.

Absolutely awesome! Our Corgi was not only well cared for but you could tell she was loved! She didn’t want to leave! Kind, courteous and caring! Highly recommended!

This is Betty’s second stay with Susan and her family, and they continue to exceed expectations. I can tell Betty feels right at home and we are getting consistent updates throughout the stay. Very happy to have someone as thoughtful as Susan to take care of her!

Willow's first sleepover visit w June was wonderful. When I've boarded Willow before, she's been eager to drag me back to the car. This time, she not only left sedately, she looked back over her shoulder as if saying good-bye.

We booked a last minute trip to Reno and were in desperate need of a sitter for Buddy. Mayra answered my last minute request so quick. She took good care of Buddy and she sent photos during his stay. Thank you Mayra.

hands down the best rover we’ve ever had! the dogs love her and she is seriously the most thoughtful with taking care of our babies. couldn’t recommend her more!

Shawna has cared for our energetic beagle lab for daycare and boarding on many occasions. She is truly THE best! She is wonderfully attentive and thoughtful. Our Kira girl has made some dogfriends at Shawna's and trusts Shawna through and through. We and our pup look forward to seeing her every single time. 🥰

Ronnie was great! Communicative, and accommodating for a last minute booking. I appreciate that his household was small breed dogs. It’s hard to find that. My small old lady had a good stay!
