Dog Boarding in Truckee

I just picked up Sunny from Kathy’s and i am so happy with the care & love she gave to our sweet pup. Sunny stayed with Kathy 4 nights and it was perfect for Sunny. Kathy has a beautiful inviting home that she welcomed us into to make sure we felt comfortable with leaving Sunny with her. I highly recommend Kathy’s services and will be using her in the future. Thank you so much Kathy for being so sweet & loving with Sunny!

This is my first time using Rover, and Kymberly was super helpful, responsive and accommodating. We had a dog sitter back out at the last moment and she replied within an hour of putting in a request. She was very flexible with my tardiness dropping off Bobsled, and was able to extend our reservation a day when our flight got delayed. She even agreed to meet the day before our trip so the pups could get to know each other, giving us peace of mind that our dog was in good hands. Bobsled is a very energetic five month old shepherd husky mix so I know not everyone is up to the challenge. She has a fenced yard, so the dogs can hang out in the sun. 10 out of 10 would recommend and I am hoping she can watch him again soon!

Melanie took fantastic care of my pup Steve! You can tell that she truly loves dogs and cares deeply about them. She sent pictures and video of him playing happily in her large property, it was so nice to know he was having a great time. Sometimes when I’ve picked Steve up after boarding from other sitters I could tell that he was happy to leave, but in this case it was clear that he really likes Melanie and had a blast. He came back so happy and SO TIRED! He slept like a stone for the rest of the day! Melanie has great communication and was very flexible with pickup and drop off. I highly recommend Melanie and we will definitely be seeing her again!

Melissa makes it so much easier for us to leave tootsie. when we need to. She’s so accommodating and it is so nice to have somebody we can always count on leaving her with.

Aaron and Nicole always take exceptional care of my Bernese Mountain dog Jelly. They spend great quality time with Jelly and have the most fun together. I know Jelly is safe and cared for when he is with Aaron and Nicole.

Malea is wonderful! She communicates well and is reliable. She kept us updated the entire time with photos and videos and maps of walk. She obviously understands dog behavior and respond to dogs’ needs. Her dog Ripp is amazing and our dog Georgia loved the playmate. I highly recommend Malea. She will treat your dog like her own. Georgia came home happy and tired:)

Susan and her family always take terrific care of Betty. Betty is excited to visit, has fun with her friends, and always comes home happy and healthy. I would recommend Susan to everyone!

Our 7month old pup loved staying with Nayla and her dog Zeina! Nayla was very communicative and took great care of our dog. We will definitely be asking Nayla to take care of our pup again when we are back in the area!

Absolutely awesome! Our Corgi was not only well cared for but you could tell she was loved! She didn’t want to leave! Kind, courteous and caring! Highly recommended!

Ron is such a great guardian to watch over your dog. His is so thorough and provides such a friendly safe environment in his home. My dog loves it there!

We couldn’t be happier with the care our three dogs received! Each of them has their own personality—especially our older girl, who can be a bit crotchety and slow to warm up. Butume was incredibly patient and gentle with her, taking the time to earn her trust, and she was totally smitten. Our energetic girl came back happy and well-exercised from the amazing walks, and the third just soaked up all the love and attention. It was clear they all felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. We’re so grateful for the thoughtful, individualized attention each dog received. Highly recommend!

Susan and her husband were an awesome place for our dog - beautiful house and large fenced yard, took her for long hikes, and communicated well. Strongly recommend.

Faith was wonderful. Our dog can be hesitant with new people and can be pretty anxious. Faith was patient with her and kept us updated with photos and a brief message daily.

Westan was a phenomenal dog sitter for our two big guys. He was great about sending photos everyday and made sure to take the dogs on multiple walks and hikes everyday they were with him. Westan is kind and the dogs automatically felt comfortable with him (they also didn't want to leave when it was time for them to come home). I highly recommend Westan to care for your beloved animal(s).

Wendy made sure our pup was part of the family and was so flexible with our plans. Thank you, Wendy for the peace of mind that our dog is loved and cared for while we are gone! He’s so happy! And so are we!!
