Dog Boarding in Windsor

My little Bob was really scared to stay with a new person. Brandi went out of her way to make Bob as comfortable as she could, and communicated frequently with me. I was really appreciative that Brandi let us know Bob was safe and not in any danger, but was acting pretty stressed - some sitters might have downplayed a pet’s stress so we didn’t worry or feel like she wasn’t taking good care, but Brandi was more concerned about Bob’s well-being, and I’m very grateful for that. I would absolutely recommend Brandi and would trust Bob with her again (now I know my nervous little rescue dog needs more transition time to get used to a new sitter before an overnight stay - lesson learned!).

Angela was a fantastic Rover sitter! We were traveling to Healdsburg for the weekend from SF and needed someone to care for our senior pup Amara. We connected via Zoom in lieu of an in person Meet & Greet which was convenient and made drop off very comfortable. You could tell immediately that she would give our girl her full attention and love, which we were able to follow along with through her consistent updates! She got to go on some adventures around town which even included a pup cup and a new toy. We would absolutely use Angela again and I cannot recommend her more!

I contacted Liz night before my wedding when I had tried for two days to find someone to watch my dog where I could pick them up as my family member that was to watch him at a flea infestation. I actually visited first because I've never left my dog and we just lost his aunt and we just been through a lot. Elizabeth is a wonderful kind very flexible woman who took fantastic care of my dog and let me pick them up late at 10 and was wonderful she has a beautiful home and is a very kind and honorable person that really saved my daughters wedding. Thank you Liz you are amazing and I'm sorry this is so late but post wedding activities are very very draining. Much love Tanga and Jessica

Debbie is lovely, responsive and super flexible. Our two young labs spent a great weekend at her house with two long walks a day, plenty of cuddling and access to an enclosed yard with lots to explore. She sent just the right number of photos and videos, and we didn't worry for a minute. She has years of dog experience (all sizes) and easily and lovingly handles our frisky girls. We're glad to have found her! Top notch.

Crystal is great! Responsible, good communication, reliable, and flexible. She has a nice indoor and outdoor space for the dogs. My older dog takes medication and has anxiety but she is always happy to stay with Crystal.

Lauren was so amazing with my dog during the duration of the stay. She watched my dog for 4 days and every day she sent me updates and pictures with how my pup was doing. This was the first time that we were away from our dog for a few days and having the daily updates and seeing how well our dog was doing made it so easy for us and the pup. I would 10/10 recommend Lauren for dog watching and we will definitely be using her again when we need our dog to be watched.

Sarah was fantastic with our dog, Lena. She took care of her during our wedding and we are so grateful to have found her. She was flexible with drop off and pick up and kept us totally up to date with pictures along the way. Would certainly recommend if you are looking for Dog care up in Sonoma.

My overly energetic 4-yr-old pup Kobe absolutely LOVES being at David's place. Kobe starts squealing wildly even before we enter the driveway. David is a kind and wonderful lifetime dog owner who fully understands canines and their needs. He is so good with all the dogs in his care: totally loving yet disciplined, attentive and careful, and in control when one of them gets out of hand. David is very communicative & responsive, and his home is a dog paradise with several fenced-in acres for all the dogs to run freely. He often cares for several dogs at once, so your dog will have lots of playmates to make the stay with David even more enjoyable for them. I think Kobe is happier at David's than he is at home! It's heaven for dogs there! I can't recommend David's dog care highly enough!

Shelia was amazing with our foster pup we needed a last minute sitter for. She communicated with us sending pictures and updates the entire trip and was very good and patient with our crazy Malinois pup. Very nice yard for him to play in and her home was well equipped to care for him. 100% recommend Sheila for anyone looking for a sitter.

Michael and Amber were terrific. The best judge of that was our dog, Coco. When we came to pick her up after 4 days with them she was calm and happy. It was obvious that Michael and Amber followed our requested schedule - walks, food, etc. We couldn't be more pleased with their care of our wonderful dog.

Ana was fantastic with our two pups. She sent photo and video updates, and it was clear that both of our dogs were well treated over the weekend.

Good communication, flexible with last-minute change of plans. Lots of cuddles for our dog, very happy!

My girl came back looking well loved 🥰. Patricia sent photos every day I was gone, was very flexible about pick up/drop off, and you can tell she has a home full of love. Will definitely book with here again!

Melissa was an excellent care taker for our dog Pooty. She was attentive, friendly, and very clearly knows how to care for dogs. She made sure we got daily updates, and it was obvious that she had bonded with Pooty which put us at ease and made us feel safe with Pooty in her care. We will definitely be using her again! Charlie had a really nice time with Bernadette - he seemed totally content when we picked him up. He got lots of love & appreciated the pictures she sent as well.

Lindsey was absolutely amazing with Pepper! From the moment we met, I felt completely at ease. She was experienced, communicative, and clearly loves dogs. I received daily updates with photos and videos , which made me feel so reassured while I was away. Pepper came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for.  Lindsey also monitored a couple of skin irritations that Pepper had, and they were much better by the time we got home. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Lindsey   again—highly recommended!"

My dog loved her time with Merrill! She settled in quickly and seemed well rested and happy after a couple nights. I would definitely recommend booking with Merrill for your trip!
