House Sitting in Altona

Lila pet sat our 6 month old puppy for a week recently and we had a great experience. We felt very comfortable with having her in our home and confident she was taking great care of our little girl. She is an excellent communicator and provides detailed updates throughout the day. What stood out most to us when looking at other pet sitters was that it seemed most others had other jobs that would keep them away from the house for extended periods of time, whereas Lila spends the majority of the day at home with your pets. We'll definitely be working with her the next time we leave town.

Andrea was so great, I am usually very worried about my kitty while I am gone and I did not feel that way at all with her staying with him! She sent thorough updates and worked with us to be at our house until we got back late from travel. I also really appreciated how she took care of my home, I try to leave a clean home to come back to after travel and she left it pristine. I would absolutely work with Andrea again and recommend her to others!

Cyra did an amazing job watching our pets while we took a last minute trip! She sent frequent updates and was super consistent in communicating. She took our dog on jogs every evening and kept him active throughout the entire stay. We came home to a spotless apartment! She even took time to change out the litter box, wash and dry the guest bed sheets and take out the trash. It was such a relief having her and would recommend her to anyone!

Roxanna was Odie's best friend while I was away. He was in good hands. Highly recommended!

Santiago was communicative, thoughtful and conscientious. He sent daily updates and pictures, and it was clear our pups were well cared for. He went above and beyond during his stay — even offering to wash our puppy who had gotten dirty from walks and romping in the backyard. The house was just as we had left it, and the sheets and towels were thoughtfully washed and dried. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again!

August did a phenomenal job pet/house sitting for our dachshund-corgi mix. August frequently sent thoughtful updates and pictures of his time with Watson, and we could tell that he sincerely cared for our best friend while we were away. August also took great care of my home, leaving it cleaner than he found it! If you need a very responsible, communicative, and thoughtful person to entrust your pet and/or your home to, I can’t recommend August enough. Thanks for the peace of mind while I traveled August!

Connie was a great communicator and made sure to keep my updated throughout the day. I had no doubt my puppies were in great hands. I recommend her to anyone and would love to have her babysit again!

Sedona was amazing. She took great care of my 3 (pretty needy) dogs and when I got home they were all happy and content. She left my house maybe cleaner than I had left it! It was really nice to come home to that. I recommend her services to anyone looking for somebody reliable and professional!

Matt is an amazing sitter! He stayed with our very friendly cats while we were traveling, and made sure they had lots of company and snuggle time. I really appreciate all of the updates and photos he sent us, and his communication throughout. He took care of our house as if it was his own as well. We feel lucky to have found such a caring person to take care of our pets!

Patricia stayed with my 2 small dogs. She managed medication for both and sent daily updates. She left the house very clean. Super personable.

Nicole was absolutely amazing with our pups! Her communication before and during her stay at our house with our dogs blew my expectations out of the water! Not once did I feel nervous about leaving my babies with Nicole. When we came home our was left exactly how we left it. 12/10 stars. Would absolutely hire her again.

Arianna is the absolute best! I am so lucky and grateful to have found her here on Rover! While out of town for work, she stayed at my place and took care of my dog, Dollie. She is so kind and communicative, and I was completely at peace knowing she had everything under control. ❤️🙏🏻 Definitely look forward to hiring her again!

Taylor was a truly a saving grace for our family! Our scheduled Rover sitter canceled on the us the night before he was supposed to house sit, and Taylor responded to our request within 1 hour and offered to FaceTime us the moment he arrived at our house to watch our dog Buttercup and cat Murphy for Labor Day weekend. Taylor sent us multiple pictures and videos, in the morning and evening, of our dog and cat (without asking), while also sharing how much he enjoyed our home and our time with our fur babies. He was proactive about sharing that our cat Murphy, threw up on our couch, and asked how he could wash the appropriate blankets on the couch while also using the proper cleaning solution on the couch itself. We couldn’t be more happy and pleased with Taylor’s support of watching our home and fur babies over the weekend. Finally, he texted us for confirmation when we landed at our expected travel destination and waited to leave our house until we arrived back at the Denver airport to leave our house. We could not recommend Taylor more as a house sitter for your fur babies! He is truly top notch.

Zach was amazing! I was completely at ease knowing my girls were in great care. And I loved the picture updates. We will definitely book hum again!

Kat was great!! Will definitely book again- took excellent care of our dogs including one of our dogs who is on medication & slower to warm up to new people. Sent picture & video updates, checked our mail for us & came back to the house in excellent condition!

Colleen was great taking care of our 3 dogs overnight. She was a great communicator and made sure all their needs were met. She sent updates and pictures making sure we knew our dogs were in good hands. Would recommend Colleen!
