Dog Boarding in Downieville

Our pup had such a wonderful time at Mitzi’s house for a few nights! We loved the updates and pictures and we were put at ease with Mitzi’s great communication and attention to details. Our pup is looking forward to returning again soon!

Chris was amazing! We had to leave the country for a couple of weeks and after a test stay we left our dog with him for about 15 days, we got pictures daily and updates about her eating / how she was and it was a HUGE weight off our shoulders. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe place for their pup to hang out!

Our dog seemed to adjust very well. We got daily updates and pictures on how she was doing. Barbara even took her for walks in frigid temperatures. That’s going above and beyond.

Curtis was amazing with our golden doodle pup! She had a blast going to the dog park, going on walks and snuggling on the couch. We had daily photo updates and notes to keep us updated. Although we missed our pup on our week away, we never doubted that she was having the best time. We would highly recommend Curtis.

Jess and Teryn were such wonderful hosts to our little Charlie. We can't thank them enough for all of their updates and pics! We would love to book with them again when we go away next!

We are so grateful for Jamie taking great care of our pups! She sent me an update every day with photos, and the dogs were safe and happy all weekend. We will definitely be contacting her again! Thanks Jamie!

Alex, Jeff and their daughters took wonderful care of my active senior dog. My pup got to play fetch, hunt for tennis balls and explore the big backyard and got the rest he needed. I really appreciated the daily photos and updates I received. Great sitters!

Maggie was such a great sitter for our older doggo. He required some medications and Maggie was awesome at administering it to him daily and on a schedule. She is an amazing communicator and just all around wonderful person and experience. I was nervous about leaving Juno with a stranger for the first time. As soon and my husband and I met Sarah at drop off it was clear we had nothing to worry about! She’s very kind and clearly gentle and loving with the dogs that she watches. Juno seemed to have had a very nice time and got along well with Sarah’s dog Cedar. We will certainly be booking with Sarah again!

Steve and Susan were amazing for our Millie! It is obvious they care so much and have very high competence in caring for animals. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

We felt so comfortable leaving our boys with Sue while we were skiing at Breck! She has a great spot in the mountains and she is so friendly and sent great updates. Definitely recommend. Thanks Sue!

Sehwa & Adam were AMAZING. It was our first time leaving our dog with them and she instantly was so comfortable in their home. They were great with communication and Kora can’t wait to stay with them again!

This was our first time having Janet watch our pups. She was flexible with our flight changes and very welcoming to our dogs who ran right to her when we dropped them off. Janet sent us regular updates so we knew things were going well. We got home to two tired and happy dogs. Happy to recommend Janet and plan on using her again.

Brittany is a great and considerate sitter - she’s officially my go to girl in the neighborhood. My dog and Bobby get along very well. She keeps me updated and Rufus and Bobby are always up to something fun.

Lisa took excellent care of our dog. She was sweet with her and sent us lots of photos of her playing and having treats. A true dog lover! Will definitely use her again.

Ruby had an amazing time with Della and her daughter! We got constant updates, photos, and I could tell she was well loved. I would highly recommend Della for your pup, too!
