House Sitting in Jamestown

Taylor stayed in our home and cared for our senior cat and energetic dog for two and a half weeks while my husband and I were away on a family trip overseas. He truly did an amazing job caring for our pets, communicating with us, and caring for our home. Our little ones seemed so happy with him and warmed up to him quickly. He sent us photos and video often and was even mindful of our time difference so that we would see his messages when we woke up. Our house was spotless and he even did his own laundry after his stay. Taylor is a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter and I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants a conscientious pet sitter. We will definitely book with him in the future!

This was our first time using Rover and we were lucky that Connie was in our area and available. She was very responsive and accommodating during our long weekend away. Our pups got walks and needed medications. We received pictures of our happy pups outside walking, and inside eating and relaxing. Next time we go out of town and need a sitter, Connie is the first one we are contacting. Thank you, Connie!!

Dylan was an amazing pet sitter for Blink and Blink loved her! She sent plenty of photos of Blink and kept us up to date on him, as well! Would highly recommend her ?

August was incredible. Sent consistent updates, the dogs loved him, and the house looked great when we got back. I cannot reccomend him enough!

Brenna was incredible with my pets while I was on holiday! My dog can be anxious and slow to warm up to new people, and Brenna was able to manage his anxiety in a masterful way. It's clear she's very attuned to the pets she cares for, and understands how to put them at ease. She was communicative and shared frequent updates while I was away--just enough to let me know things were going well at home without overcommunicating. And both my dog and my cat were happy and healthy when I arrived home, and my house was in great shape. Working with Brenna was fantastic and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing a great pet sitter when they are out of town.

Santiago was communicative, thoughtful and conscientious. He sent daily updates and pictures, and it was clear our pups were well cared for. He went above and beyond during his stay — even offering to wash our puppy who had gotten dirty from walks and romping in the backyard. The house was just as we had left it, and the sheets and towels were thoughtfully washed and dried. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again!

Leandra was great! She took lots of pics and had fun walks with our Zora! She took awesome care of the house and was always in communication with us! We will definitely use her again and again!

Madison was absolutely amazing with our fur babies!! She sent us daily updates, with beautiful pics mind you, leaving our home cleaner than she found it. Will definitely book again!! She is awesome!

Arianna did such a great job looking after our three dogs while we were gone for 10 days. She communicated with us every day and was on top of all three dogs individual care. Our almost 13 year old senior dog was having some mobility issues towards the end of our trip, Arianna let us know right away and was very helpful and flexible in making sure he was taken care of until we got home. We could tell our dogs and home were well taken care of when we got home. Highly recommend!

Jacob was able to house sit for my three large dogs without any incidents. He did well taking care of them, getting them walks, and caring for their individual needs. He was very calm and understanding for my nervous girl.

Zach took great care of our baby! I highly recommend Zach for your pet sitting needs! He is great with communication, taking photos and spending plenty of time with our baby.

Kat did a great job comforting our sweet Tai and taking care of our home. She sent pictures and videos regularly  which put our worries at ease. We will definitely ask her to help us again in the future!

Kevin was FANTASTIC with my Boykin Spaniel. Teo loves walks and Kevin sent plenty of pictures of their walks and their jaunts to play in the water. I would definitely request Kevin again. He clearly loves dogs. :-)

Rikku is consistently wonderful and so supportive of our cat.

Ben was great with the dogs. He is also quick to respond, and very good with last minute requests.

Patty has house/pet sat for me several times now, AND as always everything went perfect. My new puppy is totally in love with Patty, my puppy was totally exhausted upon my return due to all the fun outings, play and special attention Patty gave her. My home was just as clean and tidy as when I left it. I already have her booked for one more sit in 2025 and plan for 2 more sits in 2026 as soon as I get myself organized and dates confirmed! This was our first time using Rover, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Savannah is an excellent communicator and kept me updated with regular photos and messages throughout the stay. My dogs were clearly well taken care of and happy when we returned. As an added bonus, she left the house clean and tidy! I highly recommend Savannah to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and attentive pet sitter. We will definitely book her again in the future!
