Dog Boarding in Barkhamsted

Kahn and Tommy did a great job watching Maple! They went above and beyond by sending daily photos and videos, letting her run around their gated yard (which she loves to do), provided a dog bed for her, and let her hang out with their family. They even let Maple stay an extra night when we got home later than expected. Thank you Kahn and Tommy!

Very kind sitter. She was very understanding about my pup and the fact that he was deaf and not neutered yet. She was very quick to answer before and during the stay which was reassuring as this was my Ludwig’s first time being in a stranger’s home without me. He came home extremely tired which tells me he played a lot! Love that he got to play with the other dogs she was sitting at the same time.

We needed a sitter last minute for our dog Curtis. Allison got back to us right away and was able to accommodate to what we needed. She gave me updates while Curtis was with her and was very nice! I could tell Curtis was comfortable and had a great time. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks again :)

We couldn’t be more pleased with Harry’s stay with Michal and John. Michal and John were so accommodating when my plans changed. Drop off went perfectly, we were greeted and the transition was smooth. During the stay I got regular photos and was delighted to see that Harry even got to go for a walk. When Harry came home he was instantly back to normal, from other pet sitters Harry came back shell shocked and it would take a few days for him to normalize. We highly recommend Michal and John. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Harry.

We have used Karina multiple times now. She is very reliable, responds quickly and our boy loves playing in her yard/ hanging at her house! She is our go to sitter :) Thank you Karina!!

Hooper had a great time with MJ, Tyler, and their pups. Very good communication throughout, and we felt like he was in safe, capable hands. Would absolutely recommend.

We all couldn't be happier. Colby had an amazing time making new friends and playing all day. We were able to relax on vacation knowing he was in good competent hands. We will definitely be staying with Maria for our next boarding needs.

Tyler was great! We needed someone to take our puppy for a few day on short notice. Tyler got right back to me and we were able to work out the details. Effy did great and we felt very confident with her care. We will be using Tyler again soon during a longer trip.

Heather and Norman provided a wonderful home for Goose while we were away for 2 weeks. They are a dog-loving home which was great for my dog, who needs lots of attention from humans and dogs alike. She was treated like one of their own. Definitely recommend!

Shannon was a wonderful dog sitter and I was extremely comfortable having my pup in her care. Teddy had a blast with the dogs and Shannon had great communication with lots of pictures and videos and updates on how my dog was doing. I would not hesitate to rebook! Highly recommend.

Alex and his wife welcomed our 2-year-old, large, energetic pup, Rocky, into their home, and he had a blast! After interviewing several other Rovers we chose Alex because of the way he interacted with Rocky, who took to him right away. We were relieved to get all of the photos, videos and updates, as we could tell Rocky felt right at home. We have already booked Rocky’s next week-long stay - I can’t imagine being away from him that long, but at least I’ll know he’s in good hands!

Steve was great! He listened to what Briggs needed, would ask questions about him and Briggs had a really happy stay there! There is a big yard, lots of friendly other pups for Briggs to play with and Steve even let Briggs sleep on his bed! We would definitely use him again when we travel. We were very happy with Steve!

Shelby was great with my oversized lap dog!! She sent me pictures and updates throughout the night and next morning!! Very pleased, would 100% use her again and recommend!!!

First time ever leaving our Toby . And let me tell you! I did not have to worry one bit . If you are considering using the Rover App be well assured if you choose Nikki & Britney S . You will not have to worry one bit! Communication was key to me. I was giving updates and pictures when requested. So, if you’re planning a vacation and want your baby in good hand. These are your girls!Thank you for taking good care of Toby ! We will be back to see you for sure !

I am so thankful to have found Kaylyn. I was hesitant as I had never used Rover before and had never left our dog with anyone other than friends/family. Kaylyn (and her family) took care of and loved our dog like we do. She was in constant communication with me and shared photos which eased any fears I had. She went above and beyond to shower our dog with love and attention. We now know we can book a vacation and be confident that our dog will be happy with Kaylyn.

Zach has been absolutely fantastic with Roxie! He gives her the care and attention any pet owner would look for, and Roxie loves her vacations with him. He always keeps us up to date with photos and videos that truly warm our hearts! We will always trust Zach to watch Roxie!

This is the third or fourth time we used Ciara. She continues to be amazing, a great communicator, and just loves what being with our furry friends. As always, Max was a happy (and tired) camper. Thanks again.. We can't wait to have you watch him again. He has too much fun.

Mecheal was awesome with Bella. I enjoyed all the pix and all the videos. Micheal was very attentive and seeing her and her partner have soooo much fun with Bella. Made me very happy. I will definitely have her watch my precious furball in the future.

Nell is wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter where they don’t have to worry about their pet being taken great care of while away. She responds quickly and is very flexible and makes things easy.
