Dog Boarding in Barkhamsted

Karina was great with my pup. Both times I have left her with Karina she comes home tired and happy. Will definitely be having Karina watch her again!

Second time leaving Teddy with Alan and Luis and I couldn’t have found better people! Teddy absolutely loves being in their care. They are generous with daily pictures and very responsive. I recently moved to CT and I have peace of mind knowing I have found a great place for Teddy.

First time with Gail and she made us feel comfortable from the start. Took the time to do a meet and greet and Gracie got along with Ginger instantly. Gail was honest upfront about the dogs Gracie would be around in the household. Got multiple updates during our trip away so we knew Gracie was in good hands. Definitely will consider Gail when we’re out of town again!!

Excellent service! Our shih tzu spent wonderful week in Angela and Tommy's house. We were regularly updated with photos and brief overviews and did not need to worry about our baby while vacationing in Caribbean. Hosts are very well organized and communicate highly efficiently, including any unexpected developments. Strongly recommend Angela and Tommy to anyone with dog sitting and boarding needs.

Kathryn, Jeremy, and their kids were wonderful with Maple! She immediately felt comfortable with the family and had the best time. She received constant love and attention and I received frequent photos and updates. I will definitely use Kathryn and Jeremy again in the future!

Waffles had a blast at his stay! It was our first time leaving him for a while and we felt so comfortable, especially with all of the texts/pictures/videos. Waffles came home so tired but so happy!

Lincoln always enjoys being with Katie. She takes such great care of him. We never have to worry about him while we’re away. He comes home and settles right back in as if we never left! He used to be an anxious wreck from traditional bordering. Having him stay with Katie is similar to sending your kids to the fun aunt’s house, such a positive experience each and every time!!!

Klaudia was a great pet sitter. From the first moment she met our doggo, our minds were at ease! She provided regular updates and was adaptable as needed.

We have been looking for a boarding solution for a long time since we travel a lot and often have long work events. We've tried a number of other solutions in the area and our dog would come back every time sick and looking miserable. Finding Heather has been such a blessing! She is always available and very flexible with pick up/drop off. Our dog is happy to go there and comes back happy and tired from all the play! She sends updates and photos and it's great to see that Lily is having a great time while we are away. Very different experience from all the other boarding places we tried in the area. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a go to sitter in the area!

Jill and Sean took great care of Pepe. They treated him like their own and he came home happy, healthy, and tired. I loved getting updates and photos while I was away to see how he was doing. We will definitely be back.

This was the second time we used Allison but this time it was for a longer stay. I can’t say enough amazing things about Allison. She communicates wonderfully with pictures and about little things they’re doing, which I love! I know that Sonny is in the best hands with Allison and we can truly enjoy our vacations! We highly recommend.

We were so lucky we were able to find Kristina to take care of our dog for a few days! Kristina created the perfect little vacation home for him and it was clear from the start he was in great hands. She engaged with us throughout the stay sharing lots of pictures and videos, and asked for consistent feedback on the care she was giving. We would 100% return!

Hooper had a great time with MJ, Tyler, and their pups. Very good communication throughout, and we felt like he was in safe, capable hands. Would absolutely recommend.

I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing care my dog received! From the moment I dropped him off, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such loving and responsible hands. She kept me updated throughout his stay with messages and photos, which made me feel so reassured. When I went to pick him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly very comfortable with her. What really touched me was her kindness — she even gave him three new toys and a bag of treats, which he absolutely loves. We were coming from quite a distance for a family event and were so fortunate to find John to sit our boy Walden for a few days. The fenced backyard was perfect and John made Walden feel at home. He was easy to connect with and updated us on their fun activities too. John is clearly kind and loving of pets and people, and we would use him again in a minute if we are in the area. Nicole has watched my dog twice. I think she does a great job. She’s quick to respond. I recommend her and I’ll look to book again the next time my family and I are traveling.

Jennifer and Inam took care of our two dachshunds for 10 days while we were out of the country. They were very easy and flexible with timing for a meet and greet, drop off and pick up. They kept us updated and kept our minds at ease with picture of the dogs looking happy and hanging out with all of the other dogs at their house. This was our first time leaving our dogs for this length of time and it was a great experience with 0 issues. I would definitely reccomend them! Thank you both!! ❤️

Haoran was very attentive and affectionate with Khloe. She provided updates and pictures throughout her stay and lots of praise regarding Khloe’s mannerisms and behavior. Khloe loved her and missed her soon after leaving. Will definitely be booking with her again.

I cannot recommend Adrienne enough! She took care of my French Bulldog puppy, Kimchi, all day, and I could tell my pup had the best time. Not only did she provide attentive, loving care, but she also went the extra mile by taking her to the dog park for some fun and socialization! Throughout the day, Adrienne kept me updated with adorable photos and messages, giving me total peace of mind. When I picked up my pup, she was happy, well-cared for, and totally tuckered out from all the playtime—exactly what I hoped for! If you’re looking for someone who truly loves and understands dogs, Adrienne is the one to book. I’ll definitely be using her services again. Thank you for treating Kimchi like your own!

Morgan was awesome! She was able to help watch my dog on short notice after being cancelled on. She sent tons of photos and updates and Tacoma loved his stay. Will definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great rover
