Dog Boarding in East Haddam

Brit and her family made sure that our dood Scruffy received lots of love and attention during his 6 night stay. Frequent updates with photos and prompt responses to any questions we had put us at ease throughout the trip, knowing that our dood was in good hands. Scruffy came home happy, healthy and having made new friends. Brit will definitely be our first choice when planning our next getaway.

Sandy welcomed Luna and treated her with loving care while I was away for work. It was so nice for Luna to have Daisy around to play with and her children as Luna loves being in a family environment! I received photos and updates as well and was happy to know she was in a safe and caring home! Thank you for watching my baby!

Laura is a fantastic sitter! We were si happy to get so many updates and pics of our boy, Enzo. Her home is so lovely and her and her family made things so comfortable for us and our dog!

Brittany and her family (dogs included) always make my dogs feel right at home!! She has a great yard that my dogs love to spend time in, and she even takes all the dogs for little “pack walks” around her property. My dogs have spent as little as 2 nights and as long as 2 weeks with Brittany, and they’ve loved every visit! I highly recommend reaching out to Brittany for your dog sitting needs. Bev was wonderful and clearly a huge animal lover with a long history of caring for dogs and horses (among other animals). Her home and property is a little slice of paradise with lots of space for dogs to explore and be walked through the woods, and a pond to swim in. She sent me daily updates with photos and my pup Stella seemed to have a great time with her. Stella even showed some reactivity towards Bev’s donkey Walter (who’s a real sweetheart and was unfazed by Stella’s rude behavior) when I was dropping her off and we introduced the two of them, but Bev just kept them separated throughout Stella’s stay and it wasn’t a problem at all. Bev was a good and clear communicator throughout and I’ll definitely be using her again. Thanks so much Bev!

Josh’s place is our pups’ favorite home away from home. He takes excellent care of them and they love roaming free in his huge fenced yard. This time he had to administer meds and an ointment to one dog, which he did expertly. Josh is the best!!

Erica and Tom took wonderful care of our Australian Shepard, Lucy while we were away on vacation. It was our first time leaving her with anyone, but after meeting with Erica, we felt very comfortable with our decision. Erica was easy to get in touch with, and we received daily updates and pictures. Lucy came home sleepy and happy! We will definitely be booking with her again!

Stephen was incredible! Our dogs felt so loved and cared for and we felt so comfortable leaving them with him for our vacation. We got lots of photo and video updates, and it was clear from these that our girls were very, very happy! We appreciated the excellent communication from Stephen, the way he treated our two dogs like family, and the many options he provided to the girls, from letting them choose where they wanted to sleep to offering lots of delicious homemade treats to letting them go at their paces on adventures to the park and walks around the neighborhood! We highly recommend Stephen.

Karen and her mom are both amazing! Honey loves going to visit! And honey even got a sweater this visit! Couldn’t ask for anyone better to care for the princess!

Maria was a fabulous sitter for our sweet Wilson! Wilson came home happy, clean, and well-cared for! We can't wait to use Maria again and trust her with our little pup!

I feel so fortunate to have Serenity as my go to for my dog’s home away from home. It’s hard leaving your dog, but knowing my dog was happy in another place that felt like home made it so stress free.

Kathryn and Jeremy were great with my dog, Maple. She immediately settled in with their family and had a blast. They kept me updated with photos throughout the week. I will definitely be using them again!

Laura was very professional, timely and great overall for the care of our family pet. I got updates everyday that I requested per the app. The experience was relaxing and since it was Shadows first time and things went amazing, this was a great relief. if and when we need to do this again, we know she’ll be in good hands.

My dog Tobias never had experience staying with anyone outside of my home. I tried dog daycare for him to socialize with other dogs and potentially using that service for 15 days of boarding for my daughter’s upcoming destination wedding. Having Tobias stay in an institutional environment for 15 days that was not a loving home environment was a not ideal solution for Tobias and my family. My daughter who lives in California had excellent experience using Rover for boarding in the boarder’s house and highly recommended this service to accommodate Tobias needs. I was happy to know that Rover services were available in Connecticut! After long research and thorough assessment of customer reviews of potential borders on the Rover application, Anthony’s profile was exceptional, exceeding all of my expectations for the best option for Tobias. Anthony immediately responded to my request for boarding Tobias and scheduled a meet and greet with Tobias for a needed assessment for an appropriate fit for boarding. Anthony’s background as a Veterinarian Technician was a great asset to us as evidence of his exceptional knowledge of dogs and caring for animals. My husband and I were immediately impressed by Anthony’s secure home and loving environment. Tobias immediately acclimated to Anthony and his home environment. Gratefully my family never had one moment of missing Tobias over the 15 days due to Anthony continuously sending us pictures and videos of Tobias. He was so happy and extremely well taken care for in Anthony’s home which gave us a sense of peace and comfort. Anthony and his fiancée, -are top notch in my opinion. Nadjeska and family did a marvelous job caring for my dog for the week I was away. She kept me updated with daily photos and it seems that there was never a dull moment. Highly recommended, even if you live a 40 minute drive away like I do.
