House Sitting in East Haddam

This is our second time having Shannon stay in our home with our pup, Lucy. Shannon is such a favorite with Lucy and is so great about communicating & keeping us updated with pics. She is also a conscientious house guest - making her a special combination! 5 stars!

Responding to a request to by Rover to review Troy A’s performance, let me open with the following observation. Rover provides a scale by which to evaluate Troy’s performance. Based on a scale of zero to five, with Zero being unsatisfactory, and five being very satisfied, I give him a score of TEN! We waited a very long time to go away, and were worried that we would have to board our senior pets, and that they wouldn’t receive the necessary care and attention needed, and would possibly come back to severely sick or upset pets. Troy made it very possible for us to go away and know that we were leaving him with family members that we love, and he went above and beyond for us. In our initial meeting (which he was right on time for), he answered all of our questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. Satisfying our curiosity, he then proceeded to ask us questions regarding care and feeding instructions, emergency contacts, important information on topics and issues that we hadn’t even considered! He made it extremely easy to leave, knowing that he was going to make sure everything would be just as it was before we left, and it was. He kept us updated daily with photos and videos, easing our concerns and letting us enjoy our vacation. We will be engaging Troy again in the near future, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a competent, trustworthy house and pet sitter.

Kim is an outstanding dog sitter who gave incredible effort to keep our 18 1/2 year old Dachshund Sammy safe and comfortable. She fed him and walked him in his wheel chair and kept me informed of how it was going. Sammy would be thrilled to have Kim help him again Thank You Kim!

Kimberly was fantastic! She stayed at my house with my 2 pups and they looked so happy in the pictures she sent. Kimberly also kept my outdoor plants alive for me too! I can’t stress enough the gratitude I have for her! My pups are so important to me and my family and want the best for them. I highly recommend Kimberly and will most certainly call upon her again! 5 🌟

Emily was phenomenal, again! She stayed with our senior dog, Amber, for 9 days while we were out of country. Her communication was great, and it was obvious our dog had a great bond with her. From all the photos it was clear that Amber loved her company. She was fed on time, her meds were given to her on schedule, and she had a lot of indoor and outdoor play time. Also before leaving, Emily cleaned the house which made coming to home even more pleasant. I highly recommend her as she is very responsible, responsive, and a joy for our dog to be around.

Elizabeth was fantastic with our fur babies, and kept in constant contact with updates, dropping off our fur babies at daycare and sending pictures - highly recommend!

Nikki was fantastic with our pets while we were on a week’s vacation. Two of our pets are elderly with some health issues, and she did a wonderful job caring for them while we were away. I would highly recommend Nikki.

Jennifer took great care of our home and pup Oliver.

This was our first time using Rover and we were very apprehensive. Our Lucky means the world to us and we didn’t want to take any chances but didn’t have many choices. That being said Christine was wonderful and she sent us lots of pictures of Lucky and you can tell he was happy and enjoying himself. Our flight to come home was canceled and Christine had already left as she was supposed to, so now we had a really big problem been stuck in Dallas. I got back in touch with her to see if she could come back an extra day because we were stuck overnight and she accommodated us very well. I can’t thank her enough for that because that was really a problem. We are very grateful for the service and will definitely be using it again. Thank you Christine!

Laura did an AMAZING job taking care of our 2 full size Collies overnight at our home. She walked them twice a day and stayed connected with us by sending pictures. Our dogs were very well cared for and we will be rebooking her again.

We needed someone at the last minute to watch our girls. You could tell immediately that Palma loves dogs. We felt very comfortable with her taking care of our senior dog Bella. We’d definitely recommend her services.
