Dog Boarding in Hadlyme

Serenity was wonderful with our dog. She sent regular updates and pictures. We would definitely ask Serenity to watch our dog again!

Words cannot express how grateful my family and I are to Margaret. I loved her vibe from the moment I met her and her dog, Mojo. Margaret is truly a professional, and after just a 15-minute meet-and-greet, I felt completely comfortable leaving our 7½-year-old Boxer, Bella, in her care. I had absolutely no doubt that Bella would be in the best of hands. It was immediately clear how knowledgeable and experienced Margaret is with dogs. As a retired firefighter and K-9 trainer, she brings a unique combination of compassion, discipline, experience, and calm confidence that immediately put me at ease. The way Mojo responds to her commands is incredibly impressive, and Bella took an instant liking to both of them—she was leaning on Margaret for pets within minutes! You can truly tell that Margaret loves, understands, and knows dogs. Margaret took such wonderful care of Bella. She was attentive, caring, and kept me updated throughout her stay with regular photos. Bella had plenty of time to run and play freely with Mojo in Margaret’s fenced-in yard, and they also enjoyed leashed walks together. I would 💯 recommend Margaret to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their dog. I’m so grateful we found her and hope Bella gets to stay with Margaret and Mojo again! 🐾❤️

Julius was very responsive even though I booked with short notice. He was acommodating with drop off and pick up times. My pup enjoyed his stayed and Julius kept me updated during the stay.

Brittany and her family (dogs included) always make my dogs feel right at home!! She has a great yard that my dogs love to spend time in, and she even takes all the dogs for little “pack walks” around her property. My dogs have spent as little as 2 nights and as long as 2 weeks with Brittany, and they’ve loved every visit! I highly recommend reaching out to Brittany for your dog sitting needs. It was clear that Elisa was kind, understanding, caring, responsible, and trustworthy. Even our dog immediately went into their house quickly! This was our first rover experience and we were thrilled to meet Elisa and family and so happy with everything. Thank you so much!

Sherry was very warm and welcoming to our two dogs when they spent the weekend with her. Her home is very dog-centric and she had all sorts of toys for them to play with. She also had a special ramp to assist our older arthritic dog with getting up on the couch. She was very organized and asked for detailed lists regarding their daily routines and care. She walked them regularly and sent updates via photos and video. We were very reassured that our dogs were receiving top quality care and heartily recommend Sherry as a top-notch pet sitter!

I was extremely nervous about leaving my almost 9 year old Chihuahua with anyone. She has separation anxiety and won't eat unless I'm home. I take her on every trip due to this. I couldn't bring her this time. I went to a Meet & Greet with Maria to make sure the situation was a good fit. I'm extremely cautious when it comes to my kids and pets. I ended up booking my dog's stay with Maria for 8 days. She was wonderful! She sent me daily updates and a picture. She did everything for my baby that I requested (even let her sleep in her bed). I boarded my other two dogs (Chihuahua & poodle) and won't ever do that again. My other Chihuahua came home two pounds lighter which is a lot for such a small dog. If I ever need a dog sitter again, Maria will be the first person I contact for my two little dogs :) I highly recommend her. I could tell she genuinely loves dogs. Another plus is that your dog will never be left completely alone which is a huge factor for me.

Stephen was a great sitter for Bernie! He sent lots of pictures and we didn’t worry about a thing. Bernie loves the snow and Stephen had him out playing in it every day.

I was so grateful to find Maggie! She took excellent care of our dog, Ii had no worries the time we were away. We received updates daily. Wonderful experience.

We were so lucky to find Shelly on Rover. My dog is older and has lots of separation anxiety, but Shelly made her feel right at home. I received several message updates and photos with how my pup was doing. Shelly has a genuine love for animals and it shines through the way she cares for her own pets and the pets of others.

They were fantastic with Deegan! He’s a gentle giant and such a love bug — even though he’s an old man, he certainly doesn’t act like it 😊 They took amazing care of him, loved on him like family, and kept us updated with sweet pictures. He came home happy and healthy. We’ve already rebooked for April — that says it all!!

Anita and her family were very kind. I had to leave my cat with them due to a housing issue for a night. They were very accommodating. My cat was scared and stayed under the bed. They were very good with sending me pics. I highly recommend Anita. She understood my concerns and listen to me.

Will was great with my super hyper pup. I know she had him busy and he kept up with her. Was very communicative with me keeping me updated through pics and videos. I feel like my pup was also on vacation while she stood with him. I will definitely rebook again if he is available.

I am very pleased with Dawn. My dog Henry took to her and her house very well. She made sure he played well with the other dogs she took care of. She has the perfect size fenced in yard. It brought me joy to see him running around happy. She took care of him for 3 nights 4 days and she stayed connected with us through pictures and videos of him which warmed my heart. I will drop him off at her house again next time we need a sitter.

Cassie loves staying with Janelle. It’s just like home for her. This is the second stay with Janelle and I will definitely book another stay. Thank you for your gentle care with Cassie.

We have used Anne Marie a few times now for dog walking, and most recently, boarding. She is relaliable, Ralph is very happy and we are happy to have found her!

They are lovely people with a great yard. Amanda took the time to do a meet and greet before we booked and made sure our dogs were comfortable with her and her family. She communicated with us promptly and sent photos during the dogs stay. We have two very particular dogs and Amanda took the time to get to know them and ask lots of questions to make sure they were well cared for. Would gladly book with her again! Many thanks!
