House Sitting in Kensington

Thank you so much for taking such great care of Georgie and Hopie Nora! From the videos and photos that you shared, they were very happy you were here with them! Nora has wonderful communication and she checked in when she arrived and throughout her visit. Everything in my home was taken well care of and I will definitely book with Nora again.

We have been hesitant to leave our younger dog with a sitter because she is a young, high energy, stubborn pup who is very much still working on her manners. However, when I saw that Hector was on Rover, it was an easy to decision to choose him for her first house sitting experience! Hector previously managed the daycare that my dogs go to and I knew that he would have the experience and temperament to deal with my spunky girl. Hector was great with our dog, sent updates and pictures, and I just knew she was in good hands. He went above and beyond for her and was even able to sneak in a playdate with his dogs at his current daycare job (with our blessing of course) so she was a very happy and tired pup when we got home! Highly recommend and we will definitely be using Hector again.

Kathryn is amazing. She took the best care of our pups while we were away and stayed in contact with us. She sent us pictures of the dogs and they definitely looked very happy. We couldn't be more pleased with the care she provided. Kathryn is also super nice and a wonderful person! We will certainly use her services again.

What can I say but what a pleasure and overall great experience we had with Michelle! Very knowledgeable with dogs as well as loving and caring. Our vacation was extra relaxing knowing our dogs were in excellent hands. The Pictures Michelle sent us were priceless. We will definitely be using Michelle again for our next vacation. Briona did an amazing job watching my dog, Jax! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves and cares for animals. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Jax was happy, well cared for, and clearly received plenty of attention and affection. Briona was reliable, responsible, and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend Briona to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Carol is amazing! She stayed at our house for four nights to care for our dog (who recently had TPLO surgery) and our two cats. When we returned home from our trip the pets were so happy and the house was spotless. Carol sent daily pictures and detailed updates while we were gone. She really got to know the personalities of our pets and worked hard to keep them entertained. All of our pets loved her!

We were gone for 11 days in September and our previous long term pet/house sitter was no longer available so we booked Sherry. It was the best decision. She was conscientious and came out twice to visit before the actual dates to make sure everyone was comfortable. She watched our 3 1/2 year old Aussie Remy and 20 year old kitty Lizzie. She didn’t just watch them, she “loved” them and it warmed our heart. Especially with Lizzie who is nearing the end and requires medication and special care. She also left our house in as good a shape as it was when we left. We highly recommend Sherry and will definitely use her again.

Sophia came to our rescue when our puppy sitter for many years had a medical emergency and had to cancel the plans with us 10 days prior to our leaving for a pre-paid vacation. It was our good luck that Sophia was available to step in and stay with our Bailey. Bailey liked her immediately! Sophia took great care of our senior Beagle, giving much love and attention with multiple medications, supervised his outside time in our fenced yard providing several updates per day with pictures. Communication for us was key to our time away and she understood how important this was for us, we cannot be happier with her and gladly recommend her to anyone. 5 Stars because that is the limit but exceeded 5 Stars!

This was our first time using Rover and it will not be our last! Nikki was a pleasure to have in our home and she did an excellent job taking care of our two dogs while we were away for the weekend. We came home to two very happy doggos! Nikki left our home clean & just as we had left it. She kept me updated regularly, had great communication and sent photos too which I greatly appreciated! We will absolutely be asking Nikki to house sit in the future and would recommend her to anyone!

Liz did a wonderful job watching our dog Sadie while we were away for the weekend. She communicated often and left our home clean and tidy. It was a huge relief knowing Sadie was in good hands while we were gone and we look forward to having Liz back!

Sarah did such a wonderful job taking care of my cat Fiona over Christmas! She is the most flexible and communicative sitter we’ve ever had. Holiday travel can be such a nightmare; I ended up having to change my flight time at the very last minute, and Sarah was quick to respond and get here a little earlier than we initially agreed. The peace of mind that comes from that reliability is worth gold! She also pays super close attention to any instructions you provide. I only showed her where the cleaning spray was briefly before I left, and when Fiona had tummy problems, she was able to take care of her mess perfectly and report back to me only after it was already cleaned up. She was also great with updates and photos all day long, which I always appreciate! Lastly, she cleans up before she goes and leaves your home cleaner than she found it. We could not have asked for better care during this busy season. Can’t wait to have her back!

Jessica is punctual, respectful of our space and reliable. Jessica was patient of our puppy and attentive when needed be. Would definitely book again!

Nina was so great! She stayed in our home and took such good care of our dogs and sent me updates and pictures daily. Nina is very kind, and responsive, communication was great from the start. She went above and beyond, vacuuming the house and washing and remaking our bed before we got home.
