House Sitting in Meriden

Kathryn is amazing. She took the best care of our pups while we were away and stayed in contact with us. She sent us pictures of the dogs and they definitely looked very happy. We couldn't be more pleased with the care she provided. Kathryn is also super nice and a wonderful person! We will certainly use her services again.

Sarah did such a wonderful job taking care of my cat Fiona over Christmas! She is the most flexible and communicative sitter we’ve ever had. Holiday travel can be such a nightmare; I ended up having to change my flight time at the very last minute, and Sarah was quick to respond and get here a little earlier than we initially agreed. The peace of mind that comes from that reliability is worth gold! She also pays super close attention to any instructions you provide. I only showed her where the cleaning spray was briefly before I left, and when Fiona had tummy problems, she was able to take care of her mess perfectly and report back to me only after it was already cleaned up. She was also great with updates and photos all day long, which I always appreciate! Lastly, she cleans up before she goes and leaves your home cleaner than she found it. We could not have asked for better care during this busy season. Can’t wait to have her back!

This is the second time Nancy stayed at our house and watched Rosie. Nancy is responsible and trust worthy. With Nancy I know my dog and house are in great hands. I will most definitely use her again.

Did a great job! House sat our dog and very senior kitty (18 years old) She followed all the instructions as requested; we didn't get a formal response from the pets themselves but from the pictures, they both seemed very happy. She also was able to administer medications. Plan to use her again for our next trip!

Briona did such a great job sitting for our dog! We received multiple pictures/videos and updates while we were away and came home to a relaxed, happy pup. She played games with him, took him for walks, and followed our instructions exactly. She also took great care of our home! We definitely recommend her. 😊

Wonderful!!! We couldn’t be happier with the care that David provided for Rudy. Rudy was even more behaved than he is for us. A match made in heaven. David has meticulous attention to detail, is thoughtful and caring and intuitive. He picked up on all Rudy’s queues and provided the best care I could hope for. Rudy is a senior beagle so you have to be mindful of his needs and tolerances. David is absolutely the best!!!

What can I say but what a pleasure and overall great experience we had with Michelle! Very knowledgeable with dogs as well as loving and caring. Our vacation was extra relaxing knowing our dogs were in excellent hands. The Pictures Michelle sent us were priceless. We will definitely be using Michelle again for our next vacation. Christine is great. She took great care of our pit bull and saint bernard. They are good dogs, but definitely require a bit more finesse than other dogs along with one dog having some medical needs. She handled taking care of our pets like a true professional and left our house in great shape. We travel a few times a year and will absolutely use her again!

This was our first time using Rover and it will not be our last! Nikki was a pleasure to have in our home and she did an excellent job taking care of our two dogs while we were away for the weekend. We came home to two very happy doggos! Nikki left our home clean & just as we had left it. She kept me updated regularly, had great communication and sent photos too which I greatly appreciated! We will absolutely be asking Nikki to house sit in the future and would recommend her to anyone!

This was the 2nd time Liz pet sitted for us and we were extremely pleased again! We greatly appreciate her care for both of our older pets (a dog and cat) who need extra TLC. We felt completely comfortable with Liz caring for our pets in our home. She communicates clearly and the respect and attention she gives to our pets and home is evident. We have been hesitant to leave our younger dog with a sitter because she is a young, high energy, stubborn pup who is very much still working on her manners. However, when I saw that Hector was on Rover, it was an easy to decision to choose him for her first house sitting experience! Hector previously managed the daycare that my dogs go to and I knew that he would have the experience and temperament to deal with my spunky girl. Hector was great with our dog, sent updates and pictures, and I just knew she was in good hands. He went above and beyond for her and was even able to sneak in a playdate with his dogs at his current daycare job (with our blessing of course) so she was a very happy and tired pup when we got home! Highly recommend and we will definitely be using Hector again.
