Dog Boarding in Pawcatuck

Elizabeth and her family were the perfect people to watch our Penny girl! We were really nervous because we never been away from our doggy but we got lots of pictures and Penny seemed to have lots of fun by the looks of it! Getting pictures calmed down our nerves as we saw Penny having a great time! Definitely going to go back here whenever we need someone to take care of Penny because we know she’ll be treated right! She got lots of play time & love!!! Thanks again!

We were so lucky to find Shelly on Rover. My dog is older and has lots of separation anxiety, but Shelly made her feel right at home. I received several message updates and photos with how my pup was doing. Shelly has a genuine love for animals and it shines through the way she cares for her own pets and the pets of others.

Dana was the perfect person to take care of my dog! She had a great back yard along with many dog friends to play around with. She gave my dog love just like he was her own. It was also highly appreciated that she took my dog in at such short notice. Will definitely be scheduling with Dana again!

We had a great experience! She was very communicative, flexible, and kept us updated with pictures and videos throughout Oscar’s stay. It was clear he had a wonderful time playing with the other dogs, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. We’d definitely book with her again!

Karen is the absolute best. She is such a nice, compassionate, accommodating person that took extra special care of our dog while we were visiting the New London area. We were originally planning on keeping our dog with us during our week long visit to the New London area, but our plans changed at the last minute and Karen helped us out immensely by being able to watch our dog for us. We were even able to pick him up for a few hours here and there and bring him back despite her busy schedule. She was great in keeping in contact with us and it’s no wonder she has Star Sitter status! We highly recommend Karen as she will keep and treat your pet as if it’s her own. My only regret is that she didn’t live closer to us, as if she did, we would use her services all the time!

Our dog Digby stayed with Dana and Mathieu for the weekend and had a great time! They were very kind and helped our dog get acclimated to their house and their 2 dogs. Digby was exhausted when he came home 😊 We already have another stay booked!

Constance is a great dog sister! Our Louie was well cared for and totally enjoyed his stay. We will definitely use Constance in the future!

Francis was absolutely amazing! This was my first time leaving my dogs and I needed a sitter in a pinch. She was fast, responsive and on the ball. The dogs absolutely loved her and she took incredibly care of them. She also sent me pictures and videos regularly to put my mind at ease and I felt like my boys were at a resort! They came home happy, clean and tired. I am eternally grateful for Francis and I cannot recommend her enough. A phenomenal experience all around.

Absolutely wonderful! Our dog had a wonderful sleepover and seemed to fit right in. Thank you for the love and care you gave him. Also really appreciated the pictures and great communication. Will definitely book again in the future.

My puppy got sick when I didn’t have access to my phone and Suzanne took excellent care of him and contacted my family as per my request! I will always go to Suzanne if she is available!

One again our pup was so well taken care of. Christina is very responsible and experienced with socializing different dogs and our pup enjoys the active outdoor time he gets.

Elisa & her family were so great! They treated our pup like their own and sent us plenty of updates! They have a ramp for older or handicapped dogs, we couldn’t have asked for a better arrangement. We highly recommend them 😊

We left Charlie for three nights for his first ever stay away from home. Torie was great. She gave us updates and pictures throughout the stay. Charlie has a lot of energy and loved playing with her pup Lily. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Sending our pup to stay at Sue’s house is like sending him on his own vacation. Sue is very attentive to his special needs and provides daily updates and is very easy to get in touch with. We are repeat customers and intend to be for as long as she will have us.

Brittany and her family (dogs included) always make my dogs feel right at home!! She has a great yard that my dogs love to spend time in, and she even takes all the dogs for little “pack walks” around her property. My dogs have spent as little as 2 nights and as long as 2 weeks with Brittany, and they’ve loved every visit! I highly recommend reaching out to Brittany for your dog sitting needs. Jordan was an absolute lifesaver when we needed a sitter on very short notice (after our other Rover sitter was a NO SHOW😳). She not only graciously agreed to keep Cody for us, thus saving our vacation, but she asked lots of questions and I could see afterwards that he was very well cared for. Then she even met me halfway to pick him up, saving me travel time. I’d absolutely book Jordan again if we were in the area! Thanks Jordan !

If I could sum up my experience with Karissa in one word, it would be AMAZING! My husband and I knew from the minute we met her that she would provide the best care possible for our energetic, rambunctious 7 month old puppy. Her past experience with dogs was evident, and reflected in her calm and caring demeanor. She gave us regular updates and pictures of our boy while we were away, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. When we came back to pick our puppy up, he was sorry to leave Karissa and her two dogs! Again, an overall amazing experience, and my husband and I intend to request her services again and would highly recommend her!

Dawn was really great! My boyfriend's parents live in Ledyard so her house was really convenient for me. She has a big yard, and there were 7 other dogs in her care when I dropped my dog Belle off, which was great because she had some buddies to play with. She also gave us a homemade treat as a thank you when we picked Belle up. I would definitely recommend Dawn, and we will probably board with her again over Christmas!
