Dog Boarding in Winsted

We had boarded Baylee in a kennel in Pa and she didn't do well. She would cry and shake. We took her for her first boarding experience with Katie. She willing went into the home, which was a good sign. Baylee does have some separation anxiety, she did bark a little when I left, but Katie said she quieted down pretty quickly. She did well and that makes me feel better about going away and leaving her. Katie has a good way of making the dogs and their owners feel comfortable in her home. I highly recommend Katie and I know that I'll be boarding Baylee with her again.

Angela and Tommy made our worries about finding a non-family dog sitter disappear. We’ve now left our dog with them for half day, full-day, and multi-day stays, and each time we feel like we hit the jackpot. Their knowledge and passion for dogs is incredibly evident in conversations, and their willingness to be attentive to certain needs and quirks for your pets is extremely appreciative. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Nell is a great person to work with! Every time we have left our pup with her, he comes back healthy and happy. She is very communicative and flexible. Thanks!

Karina is very caring and does everything to make sure you dog is as comfortable as possible. We definitely trust having our dog with her and Bear always has a great time.

We were coming from quite a distance for a family event and were so fortunate to find John to sit our boy Walden for a few days. The fenced backyard was perfect and John made Walden feel at home. He was easy to connect with and updated us on their fun activities too. John is clearly kind and loving of pets and people, and we would use him again in a minute if we are in the area. Thanks, John!

James was great with my dogs! He had no issue keeping them over a holiday so I could visit my son! He was quick to respond to communication and sent photos of my dogs while I was away!

I was very nervous about my first Rover experience but MJ was extremely understanding and comforting. She sent frequent updates and took great care of Romeo.

Once again Tyler was great! Our boy was super well cared for and seemed to have a blast. It was a long stay but we got plenty of pictures (honestly some of the best photos ever taken of our dog!) Tyler is a great choice and is very committed to the dogs he cares for.

Kathryn and Jeremy were great with my dog, Maple. She immediately settled in with their family and had a blast. They kept me updated with photos throughout the week. I will definitely be using them again!

Maria is a beautiful person. My dog fell in love with her and all her furry friends. It was all last minute but she came through like a charm. I wouldn't take Louise to anyone else...

As always, Sean and Jill took good care of my little Gwendolyn. She gets so excited when we get there and loves hanging out with her doggie friends. I always know I'm leaving my little one in good hands

This was my first time boarding with Rover. Jaylese took great care of my elderly dog while I was away. She was quick to communicate and sent me pictures throughout the stay. Will book again with her in the future!

Makylia was able to take in our 3 dogs last minute and on a holiday week. She took great care of our dogs and sent videos to help calm our nerves. Thanks again Makylia!

Mary Ann took great care of Rocky! We are so appreciative of Mary Ann watching Rocky in her home for the weekend, especially on short notice. Excellent communication throughout. Rocky is quite anxious and it takes him awhile to build trust. Mary Ann was very patient with him. We highly recommend for dog sitting/boarding. Thank you so much Mary Ann!

Heather was amazing kept me updated with how my pup was doing Zeus was so sweet and open to making friends the moment Nyla went into there home I will definitely be booking again for sure it was to no Nyla was safe and having fun while us being away thank you so much Heather :)

First time with Gail and she made us feel comfortable from the start. Took the time to do a meet and greet and Gracie got along with Ginger instantly. Gail was honest upfront about the dogs Gracie would be around in the household. Got multiple updates during our trip away so we knew Gracie was in good hands. Definitely will consider Gail when we’re out of town again!!

This was our dog’s first time away from us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Allison exceeded our expectation: Throughout the stay, we got photo updates, which really helped us feel connected and reassured. We could tell she genuinely loves dogs: they played, gave attention, and made sure he was comfortable in the new environment. When we picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and acting like it wasn’t a big deal being away. That gave us so much peace of mind. We’ll absolutely rebook with Allison and would recommend her to anyone who needs someone trustworthy, caring, and professional. Wendy was amazing with my two pups! It was their first time staying with someone outside of the family, and she made them (and me!) very comfortable. She went out of her way to send me pictures and videos, ensuring me that they were having a great time. We will definitely rebook with her in the future!
