House Sitting in Washington, D.C.

Mirren stayed at our apartment for a 2 week house sitting for our elderly dog and two cats. Everything was great and well taken care of. She kept us updated on our pets and we felt very comfortable leaving them with her. Highly recommend her and we will continue to book with her in the future!

Jini was a fantastic house and dog sitter for Rocco and Rosie! She provided regular updates on the dogs, was a very considerate house guest, and successfully administered eye drops for Rocco. We would highly recommend her services and plan to hire her again!

John was great. I he was very communicative throughout his stay and sent lots of photos. He also left the house exactly how he found it. Would recommend.

Molly did a great job caring for my dog and cat in my home while I was away over a long weekend! I really appreciated that she provided photos and updates every day. She was even willing to help us by watering our outdoor plants during the heat wave. Will definitely book with Molly again!

Shannon did a great job taking care of my 2 cats and my house while I was away on business for several days. My cats are both rescues and a little skittish but they really warmed up to Shannon quickly. One even let Shannon pick her up. Highly recommend.

George is my dogs’s best friend!!! So grateful for the care Mark & George give my boys. The best rover in the area! If they stay in your house, they are the best house guests. My house looks better than I left it!

We always use Stephanie for pet sitting and she is wonderful with our two large dogs. She takes them on wonderful walks, spends tons of time with them, and keeps us updated on how they are doing. She navigated unexpected crime in our neighborhood like a champion and she also kept our home safe and clean. We love Stephanie!

Brooke was a great cat sitter - very professional, communicative and friendly. She set up a meet and greet beforehand and also came to pick up the keys the day before we left which was easy and convenient for us! She seemed very relaxed and friendly with the cats and also sent very cute updates ☺️ Brooke was wonderful with our cats but a lifesaver for us when we were unexpectedly stranded across the country and needed to coordinate with my sister to pick up the cats. It was such a relief to be able to count on her when it came to an emergency need. We'll definitely seek her out again and recommend her service if you're looking for a sitter!

Everything went great with Jayme! He kept us posted on our doggies routine and took great care of them. He responded fast, and overall was an amazing sitter. We will call him again for our upcoming trips :)

Lauren was great! She spent the day with our senior dog, who can get a little stressed when we leave. Our dog did really well, eating as normal throughout the day (which isn’t always the case), and was completely calm and content when we returned. Lauren was on time, very communicative, and very sweet to our pup. We really appreciate her!

Emma was fantastic! She was proactive in providing updates and pics and very responsive to questions before and during her stay. All instructions were followed and both our dog and our house looked great when we returned!

Russell took fantastic care of my kitty and the stray cat that I take care of on my street. He sent me many pictures and was very responsive, caring and honest. I will definitely hope to have him take care of my cats again soon.

Eric was great with my new baby Ollie! It seemed like they had a good time together, and he sent lots of photos and videos. Definitely kept my mind at ease since Ollie is new to me and I worry about him while he adjusts to his new life. Eric was respectful and kind, and he tidied up after the sitting was over, which was a nice touch. He also assembled a crate I’d just gotten, which was an even nicer touch! Will definitely book again!

Bradley is an EXCEPTIONAL sitter. He house/dog/cat sat for us and we couldn’t be happier. Traveling and looking for a sitter can be really stressful but Bradley made it easy from the first message on Rover all the way to the last day when we were heading home. He communicated often and kept us posted on how everything was going and when we got back our pups and cat were very content.

Orianne was an incredible pet sitter! She was kind, caring, and conscientious, and took the time to understand our dog's individual needs. Our dog can be anxious, and she handled that with so much patience and compassion, helping him feel comfortable and secure. Communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates that gave us real peace of mind. It was clear she genuinely cared about our dog's well-being, and we will definitely be asking her to help us again. Highly recommend!

Cocoa had a great time with Karima again. He is always rested and energetic after a visit, and we’d surely book again.

Gabrielle was our dog’s first dog sitter, and she was just the best. Our puppy wouldn’t let Gabrielle near her the first day, but Gabrielle patiently sat with her on the floor and built her trust. By the end of her stay, our dog was in love with Gabrielle! Thank you again for your great work and patient care for our girl!

Amy was great with my two smart but dramatic (my words) dogs! I felt very comforted that they could stay at home and felt safe that Amy was staying with them. Will definitely ask to to sit again next time we go out of town.
