Dog Boarding in Placida

We feel we hit the jackpot with Barbara and her husband. I knew as soon as our pets met her that they were in the very best of hands. Such a beautiful home, so much so that our doggies felt immediately comfortable. We didn't have time to miss them because Barbara sent us updates, video's and pics daily, that gave us so much peace and comfort receiving them. She treated our Hanna & Fisher as if they were her own, Thankyou so so so much and we look forward to having them come back to stay with you again!

Brittany, her boys and Mia were extremely communicative, knowledgeable, accommodating and very good to our older yellow lab Pepper. Brittany kept us in the loop sending daily pictures of Pepper and Mia playing around and enjoying her stay. We will definitely recommend Brittany, AND family, to our Rover users like us. Count on Brittany!!!!

Jennifer helped me out at late notice to help watch our pup! He seemed to have so much fun with the other dogs, playing and running around the pool outdoors. She sent a message to check in daily to update us on he was doing. Thank you Jennifer!

Bob is a genuine dog lover who will treat your dog as if it’s one of his own. He is very reliable and sent frequent text updates as well as pictures. My very sociable Golden Doodle came back very happy after frolicking with many new friends. Nice location with a fenced in yard.

Jeanne is amazing and I wish I could give her 10 stars. We were coming to Englewood on vacation and the day after arriving we were taking a side trip to the Keys to meet some friends and we couldn’t bring our 7 month puppy to the resort. It was the first time leaving Bella overnight since we got her so I was nervous and there would be no time for an in person meet and greet. It was my 1st time using Rover and Jeanne responded within minutes to my inquiry, answered all my questions and we ultimately did a video call. Before I left home, I already felt extremely comfortable with Jeanne and the care Bella would receive. Jeanne is so friendly, has a very clean dog friendly home with a fenced yard, never leaves the dogs alone and has a true love for dogs. After dropping Bella off, I received an update within 10 minutes letting me know that Bella watched me leave and then immediately started playing and was all good. For the next 3 days, I received multiple videos and pictures and I knew Bella was having a great mini vacation too! I only wish Jeanne lived near my home to use for regular doggie day care, but look forward to using her services for Bella anytime we come back to Florida. Thank you again Jeanne!!!

Kathy is wonderful! Summer, our golden retriever, spent the weekend at her house and had a blast playing in the backyard and playing with her other dogs. Kathy sends wonderful updates and is super accommodating with drop off and pick up!

My doggie was very happy!! Almost didn’t want to come home with me. Olga was great with updating me and sending photos a few times a day. She also responds quickly so I was able to coordinate pick up and drop Off with ease. 5/5 would recommend!!

Viviana was absolutely amazing with my baby Storm. From the moment we met her, I could tell she genuinely cares about animals and treats them like her own. She kept me updated the entire time with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. Baby Storm came home happy, relaxed, and clearly so well cared for. It’s hard to find someone you fully trust with your pet, but Viviana exceeded every expectation. I would book with her again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable, attentive, and truly loving toward animals.

There aren't enough stars to reflect the wonderful job that Krista did with Nina. Her daily communication and photos were so comforting being hundreds of miles away. Nina has a somewhat complicated pharmaceutical regimen and, like a lot of dogs, gets frightened from loud noises. Krista handled them both like a pro, while having her over the firework filled New Year's holiday. We will absolutely use Krista again and highly recommend everyone we know to do the same.

Linda and her family took excellent care of our 2 small dogs for several weeks while we had to be out of town. Our dogs are older and one has special needs, but Linda was very attentive and kept us posted with daily photos and videos which showed they were doing well and having a fun time. Our dogs were definitely treated well and we know they enjoyed having lots of attention & freedom compared to being boarded in a small kennel. We could tell that Linda and her family earned the trust of our babies and that meant so much. We would gladly trust Linda again with our babies and would also recommend her very highly to anyone!

Floyd and Connie are wonderful pet sitters. I received daily updates and pictures. They communicated extremely well and I felt so comfortable boarding my little Yorkie with them. They are the first on my list anytime I need to board my dog. Thank you so much Floyd and Connie!

Jennifer watched peanut again for longer duration and I couldn't have trusted anyone else !!! my pup loves her and i feel at peace during trips!! she’s takes care of my pup and communicates as needed’

Kimber took great care of my dog. She sent me a picture or video daily, which made me feel comfortable. Seeing Indie surrounded by other dogs, different sizes at that, seeing her happy and running around made me very happy. I will definitely be using Kimber again to pet sit my dog.

Lilyann was AMAZING!!!! She sent us pictures and videos the entire time we were gone, we were nervous to leave our puppy for the first time and she made it so painless. Although we missed both of our dogs she made it easier to part with them for a few days!!! We have been looking for a pet sitter for a while now, we have finally found our forever sitter!

Monica and family did a great job of caring for our Lady for a week while we had to be out of town. She stepped up, last minute and sent many photos daily, keep us informed, also allowing us to see how comfortable Lady was there and how happy she was playing with her other doggie friends!

This is Ozzy’s second stay with Alain. Alain is very responsive and sends multiple videos and pictures daily. We will continue to use his services!

We moved to Florida about a year ago and have been looking for a sitter to watch Daisy our mini dachshund so that we can travel. We are absolutely delighted to have found Robin P.!! She took excellent care of Daisy and sent us daily photos and videos which gave us such peace of mind so that we could enjoy our vacation! And Daisy had a great time too!
