Dog Boarding in Port Charlotte

Brittany, her boys and Mia were extremely communicative, knowledgeable, accommodating and very good to our older yellow lab Pepper. Brittany kept us in the loop sending daily pictures of Pepper and Mia playing around and enjoying her stay. We will definitely recommend Brittany, AND family, to our Rover users like us. Count on Brittany!!!!

Jennifer provided excellent care for our eight-year-old dog, who can be somewhat timid with strangers. She kept me well informed with regular updates, including photos and videos. I would gladly use her services again in the future.

I was delighted with how Taylor took care of my dog. She kept me informed at all times with photos and messages, and she cared for Milo as if he were her own.I had to find emergency dog-sitting because I was coming from Miami, and even though it was very early when I messaged her, she responded almost immediately, which I thought was great. She spoiled him with treats I highly recommend her!

Nicole and her family were so awesome watching my dog for me. Would definitely recommend them to anyone it was an absolutely amazing and easy experience.

I’m not sure what to say that others haven’t. I have generally only left my Koda with people I know, however, after moving to Florida, 99% of the people I know are in Minnesota. I searched far (Sarasota) and wide (Punta Gorda), but nothing felt right. I decided to check Rover and after hours of pouring through profiles I kept going back to Floyd and Connie. After deciding to fill out the form I got a notice that they require a 2 week notice - d’oh! So I reluctantly requested two others that came up. Fortunately for us, Floyd and Connie had an opening and what a blessing this was. Koda spent 3 days with Floyd and Connie and I did not worry about him one bit. I received pictures of the new friends he was making (canine and human) and usually when I pick him up from other sitters he gives me the “what for” in bark mode, but today when I picked him up he peed on a bush and walked to the car like, “Ok, let’s go.” Since he’s been home it’s obvious he misses his new friends. We are so thankful to have found Floyd and Connie. I highly, highly recommend them.

Couldn’t ask for anyone better!

I was on the disaster team working in FL and needed someone to watch my little one for a couple days. This was the 1st time I've used Rover. I must admit that I was kind of a skeptic at first because of Monica having such large animals around. And boarding my little 4 lb yorkie puppy was an issue for me. Upon the 1st visit she showed me around her beautiful home and showed me passages of how Bella would be safely away from the other dogs. But what really was special to me was she had Bella in her own private quarters with her. She sent me updates at least 3 to 4 times a-day with pictures and information without me even asking. It kept me at ease through the day knowing she was safely in her care. Monica is both very informative and professional. I would recommend her to anyone. She will not disappoint you.

Sheldon had a great time while staying with Ana. She is careful to only take dogs that get along. We were comfortable with Sheldon’s care and enjoyed our time away. Will definitely be back!

Our Westies had the best time with Bryanna and her pets. I think they didnt really want to leave. Bryanna has a dog friendly home with fenced yard which was important to us. Her dogs got along great with ours. She kept us updated with lots of photos. We will definitely use her in the future!

Shelley was a wonderful care provider for Remmy. She cares for her doggie guests as she does her own, with plenty of attention and lots of soft beds. I appreciated Shelley's daily photos and updates, as well as her understanding and flexibility when I was running late due to a flat tire. I've already booked Remmy's next stay!

Savanna was great. She was warm and welcoming and my pup had a great time staying with her. She even took him for a dip in the pool (which he loves). The entire process was stress free and comforting. Scoops will be staying with her again next time I need a sitter.

Dana was outstanding. Her home was spotless and clearly well-prepared for pet care. She provided consistent photo updates and check-ins, which gave me real peace of mind. She also shared helpful guidance and treated Teddy like he was her own genuine care, attention, and responsibility from start to finish. You can tell she operates with integrity and truly cares about the animals she looks after. Solid, reliable, and absolutely someone I’d book again.

This was the first time using Kimber actually the first time I left my dog with someone other than family and I was very apprehensive. Cooper is an aussie-doodle with high energy Well, Kimber is a rock star. Cooper went to her immediately(which is a huge deal), listened to her and when I picked him up the next day he was great. Donna did a great job with our dog. She was responsive by giving us updated texts and pictures during his stay. He was well cared for and we hope to use her services again while in Florida.

Our dog enjoyed his few day boarding stay with Jim. Jim provided pictures and text updates in daily communications, which was very helpful. Our dog liked his leashed walks with Jim, and was made comfortable in his surroundings. Thanks!

Brandy is amazing! She has looked after my pup twice now and has exceeded expectations both times. She sends updates with pictures daily and is very flexible with your plans. She even slept on the couch with my dog during the fourth of July because he is afraid of fireworks. If I could give her 6 stars I would.
