Dog Boarding in Clayton

We are traveling and the condo in Sky Valley we were staying at does not allow dogs. Our Shadow is 16 yrs old and has never stayed with anyone she didn't already know or for a full week. She was a little nervous when we first arrived but soon calmed down and made herself at home. Laura and family are calm and the home has calming energy. Shadow attached herself to Laura and stayed by her the entire week. We had taken her dog bed and she slept in it right beside Laura's side of the bed. Laura sent daily updates with pictures and it was clear Shadow was at home and comfortable there which allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation. She even got to do her favorite thing - walking in the creek - while on a nature walk. The funniest thing was, Shadow didn't even get excited to see us when we picked her up!! She watched Laura walk back in her house then just layed down and hung her head down like she was so sad to leave! THAT has never happened before! The few times we ever leave her somewhere, she runs to get in the car and is all over us. LOL. We were SO grateful to find Laura and only wish we could take her back to FL with us!! We will definitely use her again next year if she is still with us. Thank you Laura for loving our sweet girl and making her feel so at home for the week she was with you.

Tate had a great visit with Licia and Pete…treated like a member of the family. They kept to his routines and it was obvious that he was very comfortable with them. Highly recommend!

Ann is wonderful and took such good care of our little girl! I knew right away she would have fun on her beautiful property and be safe. Highly recommend!!

Very happy with our experience boarding our pup with Mikaela. She always provided updates and overall just genuinely kind and caring.

I boarded my Goldendoodle with Megan for several nights. She was very prompt in answering my questions regarding her service and did a nice job in keeping me posted on my dog's stay which included sending me photos. I would highly recommend her!

This is the first time I've let Mia be cared for, and I would leave her with her again. She's a very friendly and responsible person with her work; she does an excellent job, and I recommend her. Excellent work, communication, and seeing my puppy.

Tara took my girl in last minute which I'm very thankful for as I had a graduation to attend. She updated me with pictures and how my dog was doing. It was the first time I've left my dog and it wasn't easy but seeing the pictures and even a video made me feel much better. Thank you Tara!!

I would highly recommend Sylvie. This was our first time we had to leave our dog for an extended period with a sitter. Sylvie was great. She sent us photos to show us how well our dog was doing and it was very clear he was well cared for. We will be requesting her again in the future.

Robin was great! She welcomed us for a meet and greet prior to our stay. Nelson came home exhausted, he had a blast with the other dogs at Robin's. She also sent photo & video updates of Nelson enjoying his stay. Robin was very flexible and easygoing when our travel plans unexpectedly changed due to a flight cancellation. Would recommend!

Jen and her family provided such an incredible home away from home for Oscar. Oscar had so much fun playing with his two new BFFs Georgia and Sushi Roll (Jen’s two beautiful kind dogs) and living the mountain dog lifestyle exploring the great outdoors around Jen’s beautiful property! We appreciate how incredibly communicative and flexible Jen was with us. And most importantly how great of care she took for our pup over an extended stay. We will be back to Highlands and look forward to Oscar’s reunion with Jen and his new best dog friends!!

There’s not enough stars on this rating for Taylor. She is AMAZING. I felt very comfortable leaving my sweet Lucy with her while I was out of town. Lucy was well cared for and loved on. I highly recommend Taylor to anyone needing their fur baby taken care of while they are out of town. -Lori B

Amanda and her husband are absolutely wonderful! They took such great care of our pup for two nights and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Amanda was responsive and shared how he was doing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

We are lucky to find her in such a short notice. she is excellent with my Buddy, she is very attentive to my boy, we definitely love to have her as our sitter in the future .
