Dog Boarding in Makawao

Wanda and Lonnie helped me out with my 2 dogs when I first moved to Maui. Turns out the Airbnb I booked was not pet friendly. Wanda and Lonnie took in my dogs without hesitation! They took such great care of them on their farm! My dogs almost didn’t want to leave all the fun they were having! I highly recommend Wanda and Lonnie and will be booking them again soon!

We love Amber, Abe & Einstein!! They are the sweetest family and always take such great care of our little fur baby! We get an update right after she gets dropped off and plenty of pictures throughout. We are never left wondering how Willa is doing and they are super quick to communicate. Highly recommended these guys!

With my last minute trip to visit my mom for Mother’s Day Shanelle took in my fur babies with such short notice!! Kiddos came home and back to normal with us! Appreciate your awesome work and accommodation!!

Brownie’s stay here was amazing! Madison made sure that our dog got her medication and we could tell that Brownie was happy when we picked her up. They have a great setup with a long leash to help dogs get out their energy during their stay as well which is a huge plus 👌

This was my second booking with Bridget and Tiger for my boy Bullish. I had to go off island to Big Island for work for 8 day's. My dog Bullish is a shadow puppy and has to be around me at all times, normally difficult for me to be away for him more than a day at a time. He had so much fun with Bridget and Tiger having a fenced in backyard to run around (we live on a second story condo with no yard), Bullish was so worn out by the end of his stay! Bridget sent me pictures and messages daily with updates to make sure I didn't have any worries. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again. Aloha

Having used Rover for the first time, Randi's service was exactly what I was hoping for when I discovered this application. Her and her husband's attention and care for my dog was phenomenal and I knew he was having the time of his life! It was so much fun and reassuring, to receive updates on all their activities. Carrie and Jonathan were wonderful! Zero had a great time with them and I knew he was in good hands. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Rochelle is wonderful! My dog is a little anxious when I leave him. I knew he had a good weekend when he was calm and relaxed the night I brought him home. Rochelle must’ve given him lots of love and attention. I’m so grateful!

Casey was very kind and caring. He was super easy to communicate with and responses were always fast. He even went out of his way to pick up our puppy from our house in Wailuku so we didn’t have to drop her off to Kīhei. You can tell he and his wife really love the dogs they care for. We have a mini dachshund puppy and we were touched to find out they had 2 of their own sausage dogs that lived long lives and have sadly passed. However, I knew our pup would be loved and was in good hands. I’m happy we found experienced wiener dog lovers who can watch ours if we ever need. Mahalo Casey!

Diann (Dee) was so lovely. She watched Sadie and Buddy for a week while we were off-island, and they couldn't have been in better hands. The first day they were there, she noticed the flea treatment we had them on wasn't doing its job, and contacted me. After some discussion, she recommended a program she used with her own dogs, and, with our okay, she obtained it from her vet and got them on it. Above and beyond, and so helpful. Her house and grounds are perfectly secure and dog-friendly. Highly recommend her if you need a pet sitter for any length of time.

Our dog Mason loved his “summer camp” stay! It was our first time leaving our dog and we felt so happy knowing he was safe and having the time of his life!
