Dog Boarding in Des Moines

Casandra was amazing with our dog, Gracie. We had never used Rover or had our pets boarded. This was a perfect solution. Casandra took the time to meet us ahead of Gracie's stay. She made sure we felt comfortable and sent photos and videos and kept in touch with us on a daily basis during Gracie's stay. I appreciated it so much and felt so comfortable we booked another stay even before we had returned home. Casandra is professional and obviously loves pets. I will absolutely us Casandra again and would recommend Rover as a great resource for pet owners.

Cory was awesome! He was very responsive and sent a picture. Our dog had a skin rash and he was willing to put medication on it. I would definitely rebook with him!

Kim is the best with our pup! Such a good family for her with lots of friends to play with, she is so great with keeping in tune with our pup's needs. The best!

Cynthia was wonderful! Communication was excellent, she was able to help our 1 year old greyhound settle in pretty quick. She also followed all feeding directions, as our dog had a sensitive stomach. She sent pictures, which helped calm our nerves. I would highly recommend her!

Alice was awesome with my 13 year old ShiPoo. Oreo came home calm, happy and content from all the snuggles she received during her weekend getaway.

Ashly did a great looking after my pup, Chester. He had a blast with Tony and all the other dogs during this week. Constant updates and plenty of photos. Would definitely recommend and I will be a reoccurring customer.

Kevin was great with teddy. He had awesome communication and took photos of teddy playing with his bunny. Thanks Kevin for watching teddy and taking good care of him.

I will be using the Osvaldos services again. I was really nervous to leave my pup for the first time. But, the Osvaldos kept me at ease with constant text, pictures and videos. They were great with my her! I am very pleased with my experience with them.

Melanie and her family were great. Maya loved running around in their backyard and was well taken care of. Would definitely recommend Melanie and plan to board here the next time we go out of town.

Jenevieve and her crew took wonderful care of my sassy girl!! This is the first time I have left her and felt completely comfortable that she was in great hands. She sent frequent updates, remembered every detail o gave her at drop off about all of Eleanor’s quirks, and seemed genuinely excited to have her there. If you’re looking for someone who will love on your pup while you can’t, Jenevieve is absolutely your girl! And she won’t even get mad when your bratty little ball of floof sneaks into the shower to surprise her and remind her that she can’t escape, ever! Eleanor says privacy is overrated anyway! Jenevieve is truly the best!

Kayla was great! She sent pictures of Nola each day, was accommodating when we arrived home a little earlier than expected, and watched her over her own holiday break. Fantastic sitter!

Lisa did an excellent job boarding our border collie pup for a week. Don enjoyed the time at Lisa's place and had fund with her dog. Lisa was constantly communicating all through the stay. We got numerous pictures and updates on feeding / sleep status etc. Thanks Lisa for being a wonderful host

Christy and Erkam were so accommodating and took great care of our Stanley. This was our first time leaving Stanley with somebody other than family and he seemed to have such a great “vacation”! He came home happy and exhausted. Hoping to be able to book with Christy and Erkam again!

It was my first time using Rover and I am so happy I found Elizabeth to watch my pups! I have to admit I was nervous at first about the whole situation but once I brought my dogs over to meet Elizabeth for the first time and after speaking with her/getting to know her I knew this was going to be the best fit. She was great with my one dog who has behavioral problems and due to Elizabeth’s knowledge on animals, she was able to get him to warm up within 24 hours on the first day there! She not only takes the best care of them with endless outdoor play but as well snuggles in with them inside! Pictures to prove! Elizabeth sends pics of your pups constantly throughout their time with her. Would recommend and will book again!

Meghan was great at communicating for a meet up and the actual drop off. She took good care of our little puppy and I think she came home better behaved than when we left her. Thank you Meghan!!

Shaelea has watched my dog multiple times and has been amazing every time. She’s responsive, flexible, and accommodating with last-minute changes. Our dog loves going to her place and always has fun with her animals.

Rachael was wonderful!! This was my first experience using Rover and she made the process so smooth. She was responsive and easy to work with. She kept me updated with pictures.

Maricela was amazing!!!! Tito our little 6 month old Shih Tzu Maltese mix had a blast. Many walks and lots of outdoor time. Tons of pictures and videos of his time with her. We will 100% be using her again. Thank you so much for a top notch experience
