House Sitting in Iowa City

Karla is really a gem. I was worried about leaving my rescue dog and very shy kitty (who needs medication) but from the meet and greet I could see that my pup liked Karla. The visit went very smoothly. Karla is very responsive and sent me texts and pictures and very cute and reassuring video and let me know that kitty was getting her medication. I returned to an immaculate house and my pets were pleased to see me but not at all anxious or stressed which tells me they like Karla as much as I do. Highly recommend!

Daniel was just amazing! He took such good care of Murphy and Lola. Lola is a rescue who is just starting to feel comfortable in our home. Daniel was very attentive to her needs and compassionate about her history. Daniel sent a bunch of photos and a video, which reinforces his affection for the dogs and their owners. Murphy and Lola look forward to having Daniel come hang out with them again!

Rachel did a super job house/pet sitting for our dachshund and 2 cats. She was attentive to the animals and left the house clean and orderly which we really appreciated as well. We will definitely book with her again for our upcoming trips this year!!

Rose always takes great care of our Cece and our home when we’re gone. We love getting photos while we’re away and seeing how cozy she and Cece are together! ♥️

She was great with our dog that is anxious when we leave him. Very communicative and kind! We will definitely use Andreea again in the future!

Bethany did an amazing job caring for my pup over the weekend. She took my dog for lots of walks, gave her lots of love, and sent me pictures every time she came by. Would definitely recommend!

Sydney was punctual, adapting and very communicative! She was great with the pups, cleaned their bowls, picked up their poo and tidied our home! Excited to hire her again in the future. :)

Mal took amazing care of my two dogs. Took better care of them than we do as a family. They were walked several times a day and played with her pup! My house was clean and tidy when we came home. Will definitely use her again!

Meredith did a wonderful job like always. We are so grateful for the amazing help.

Cassie was wonderful. She did a great job watching my boy over the weekend while I was away for a wedding. She sent lots of pictures and updates and i returned home to find my apartment just the way I left it!

Nicole is the best! She was able to be flexible when we were having travel issues and stay longer than planned. She is so helpful and great with the pups!

Kristine did an excellent job watching my one-year-old standard poodle while I was away on an overnight business trip. Kristine kept me updated with pictures and texts, and my dog was very comfortable with her. I will hire Kristine again.

Lindsey was great! She helped us out super last minute and did a great job. She is communicative and we really appreciate the pictures and updates she sent. Our dogs were comfortable and happy, we plan to use her again if we need an sitter again!

Nelson watched our three dogs at our house again this weekend. He took great care of of them as always. My sons friends left May Day baskets at our front door while he was away and the chocolate melted. Nelson went out of his way to go get him new chocolates so he would have them when he got home. It was incredibly sweet and kind to do that!

Avery did an amazing job watching our pup while we were both out of town last minute. She was extremely responsive, provided great updates and gave our pup so much love and attention. I would book Avery again in a heartbeat!

Matt did a great job for us. We have a hard time leaving our senior cat, Yama, not only because he is so sweet, but he also needs several feedings throughout the day. Matt was great with him. When we returned home, our cat seemed content, like he had gotten the attention he needed. He did a good job of communicating with us and he sent many pictures of Yama while we were away. We will definitely contact Matt again when we need a pet sitter in the future!

Jeanette took expert care of our super senior dog for a week. He can be a bit confused and extra bark-y with strangers, but she helped him stay calm and happy, as well as ensured he had his medicines every day. She also gave us updates and answered all our nervous questions while we were gone, as this was the first time our dog had been without us in many years. She helped us feel like we could relax and enjoy our family vacation. Additionally, Jeanette took great care of our home. 100% recommend her services.

Christine was the PERFECT dog (& house) sitter. I kinda don’t want to write this review because I want her to always be avail when I need her. I’ve had traumatizing and subpar sitters, so naturally I was nervous leaving my also-very-sensitive senior doggo with someone new (on very short notice). But upon arrival, Christine was taking notes, asking all the right questions, and had all the best doggo-loving vibes. She’s super sincere in wanting to care for your pet - exactly the way they are used to, and gave me all the updates that I requested. I honestly had no hesitations upon leaving my dog son (and place) to her. I cannot be more grateful to have found her & hope she doesn’t get too popular, so I can book her again. Thank you Christine for taking wonderful care of my fur boy and breaking my horrendous streak of bad dog sitters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
