House Sitting in Iowa City

Sarah was great to work with and very patience with us being first time users of Rover. She sent many pictures of Max while we were away and we really appreciated it!

Amanda was very attentive of our dog and puppy-both of whom are very energetic. She left us a nice long note with details of how it all went and sent us pictures throughout the night. Very good beginning!!

Haley and I worked through some feeding issues she was having with one of my cats that wasn't feeling 100%. She stuck with it and in the end, all was well.

Katelyn was a great sitter with our pups. She sent photos & updates throughout her stay and took care of things around our house. Our pups had a fab time.

Emily stayed two nights with Honey, an 11-year old Collie/Chow mix who I adopted just three weeks ago. I was nervous about more change for an older dog, but Emily's daily photos and texts were so reassuring. I felt confident that Emily followed Honey's routine, and I plan to ask her to stay with Honey again. I was looking for a sitter who is compassionate, trustworthy and friendly and Emily has all those qualities. I'm grateful I found her!

We highly recommend Anna! She was great with our dog with separation anxiety--our dog was calm, happy and relaxed when we got home. Our dog was so at ease with Anna she ate dinner and took a nap! We appreciate Anna's great care and look forward to rebooking with Anna!

One word to describe Christine as a sitter is “EXCEPTIONAL.” Going on a long trip is always a tad stressful when you have little ones, and are fearful of the type of treatment they will show them. However, this trip came with absolutely no worries as Christine did an amazing job communicating daily with both photos and detailed updates - this says a lot because our little Chuchu has a lot of personality and can be difficult at times and in the pictures we saw how much they bonded and Chuchu def’ fell for Christine too. We wholeheartedly recommend Christine, and plan to use her on “ALL” future use.

Christine took wonderful care of our dog, cat, and house. Terrific, responsive communication, reliable and so thoughtful. We’ve already booked a repeat with her!
