Dog Boarding in Slater

Kat and her kids took great care of our 11 year old beagle. When our pup got anxious because mom wasn’t coming back at bedtime, Kat and her daughter gave cuddles and love. They sent pics and updates!

Our pup seemed like she had a good time! She is very energetic & requires a lot of exercise, but Brooke and her pups were able to exercise her plenty. Brooke even bathed her because she played in a puddle. I would have her watch our pup again.

Angela and her family are amazing! My dog had the best time with them. They did so many fun things with her that I wondered if she would want to come back home. 😉 Communication was excellent, too. Highly recommend!

Meagan and her family are seriously my fav! Zion lovessss spending time there and their new family member, sweet Mabel, only adds so much fun to his adventures there! I love the updates, photos and funny moments. Meagan is the best! 😁😁

We love Roxy and her family! They treat our guy like their own, and we know he is safe and well cared for while we can't be with him.

Steve and Tilaine and their kids were terrific hosts and caregivers for our Matcha. She was immediately comfortable at their place, and their sweet dog Leena was the perfect, low-key companion for her while she was there. We would absolutely board Matcha with them again.

Samantha took great care of my dog Dixie. I needed a last minute weekend stay and she accommodated me immediately! My dog struggles with separation anxiety so I wanted her to be in an environment that would be more personal than at a kennel. Was super quick to respond when I sent texts to check up on Dixie. My dog seemed very happy when I picked her up and I would definitely book with Samantha again!

Our puppy stayed with Mallory for 1 week and she was amazing! It was so nice we didn’t have to worry about our pup while we were gone. We knew she was in great hands and got updates Dailey. So thankful to have found someone to love our pup and she got to play with some many other dogs which she loves!

Kimberlee and Mitchell took really good care of Buddy during his week-long stay! It is always tough leaving him behind, but they made us feel completely at ease from day one. ​Kimberlee sent frequent photo and video updates throughout the week, showing just how happy, comfortable, and well-cared-for Buddy was. He clearly got plenty of love, attention, and activity, and came home relaxed and happy. ​They are reliable, communicative, and truly care about the pets in their care. We couldn't have asked for better sitters for Buddy—we will definitely be booking with Kimberlee and Mitchell again in the future! High recommend!

Kayla took great care of our special fur baby Coco! She was responsive to Coco’s needs, she kept us informed, and was very pleasant to work with. We will definitely be using her services in the future!

Lauren was an absolute lifesaver during a last-minute family emergency. She was so accommodating and understanding when our plans changed, including a slightly later pickup. She sent photos throughout and kept us updated the whole time, which gave us total peace of mind. Sweet as can be and clearly loves what she does. We'd book her again in a heartbeat!

My dog was happy to be home but she made the most of her stay with Nadia. She, apparently, didn't sleep well while she was there but then she never does when she's not home. I say that because she went straight to bed and slept through the night.

Kayla was wonderful and answered a lot of questions for a first time Rover user. She was always upbeat, professional and friendly. Her place is terrific, and close to Ames for easy access. She made my dog welcome and comfortable (his first time at age 3 away from me) , and gave him a nice long walk in the countryside. She has a couple of lovely, friendly dogs herself. I would use her as a sitter in a heartbeat again with no reservations. Highly recommended.

Our first time using Rover could not have gone better, thanks to Casandra! Not wanting to worry about burdening family and friends, we needed a short-notice low-cost option for a 3 week vacation, and Casandra was extremely easy to book and work with. She loved our two young pups like her own and gave us constant updates and pics, even when we were off the grid and unable to respond. My favorite part was that they got to play with many different Rover dogs during their stay and probably had an even more fun vacation than we did! ?

They were very accommodating and even did research for our unique pet. I was grateful to find a caretaker who could be available for our dog who is used to a lot of attention. Really appreciated the whole experience, thank you!

Our dog appeared to have a great time staying with Chris! At pick-up, he sat by Chris like he was an old friend! (Not in a hurry to get to the car) Pics he sent we're appreciated and funny! Definitely will book again!

Our dog had a great time and came home tired and happy. She generally doesn't eat much when she is away from us, but ate all of her food during this stay, meaning she was comfortable and active during her stay.
