Dog Boarding in Athol

Wendy was so helpful for a last minute request. The facility was wonderful with indoor kennels and outside access. It is a little ways out off the main highway, but a beautiful area and again Wendy was very responsive and so kind.

Great experience! Very nice family with great fenced in yard. They seemed to sincerely enjoy having my dog. Good communication. Would love to use again but they are moving from the area.

Ashely and Robbie were so amazing; Dtrvie had such an awesome time. Thanks for allowing us the comfort of KNOWING she was so well cared for and ALL the photos and videos! Highly recommend.

Tammy is amazing!! We’ve tried two other Rover’s before her and had less than ideal experiences. Tammy was so sweet to our two fur kids. One of our dogs gets anxiety so Tammy set up two beds in her room and let our dogs sleep in the room with her. She frequently updated us. We received at least one picture a day of our dogs hanging out with her and having a good time. We finally found a place for our sweet dogs to go if we need a vacation or break and won’t have to worry if our dogs are being loved and cared for. We can’t recommend her enough!

Great experience. We were coming from out of town. Suzie and her son met us at the door and quickly made us comfortable with the arrangements. Sent us great pictures of treat time and their evening walk.

We felt at ease leaving Oakley with Katie. we were on vacation and didnt know where to leave her while eating out at dinner. But didnt worry that she was in a safe place while she was with Katie.

YES, you should book with Tara! Our Hutch is a GSP. If you know the breed, you know they are busy. I was nervous Hutch would be too much, and Tara put me at ease. She was more than willing to have a meet and greet before the stay so she could meet Hutch, and we could see how he would interact with her dog Hoyt. All went well. Tara sent several photos during Hutch's stay, and was super at communicating. It all gave me a sense of relief. Hutch was treated like family. Again, YES you should book with Tara. We will again.

Sherin did wonderful with keeping us updated on how our dog was doing with her! I’m very hesitant to leave our dog with anyone, but she truly helped ease our mind! She gave him a bath after a kennel accident. Giving an 80 pound dog a bath isn’t an easy task. Truly went above and beyond and we are grateful!

My pup LOVES going to Mikey’s! She has adjusted well and when we drop her off, she doesn’t look back! Maggie loves the great exercise she gets. Mikey’s communication is excellent and we appreciate all of the photo updates we received while on vacation. We had no worries while we travelled. We actually wondered if Maggie would want to leave Mikey’s house. :) She is now our go-to Rover sitter. We also appreciate her extensive knowledge of animal behavior, interaction and training. She insured a smooth transition when Maggie met other dogs. Thank you!

Louie stayed with Heather from September 27 to October 6 while I was out of the country, and she took such great care of my sweet old guy. He can't see well, and he’s not used to staying away from home for long. After a few days, Louie wasn't wanting to eat, and Heather made sure to check in with me regularly, going above and beyond to feed Louie alternative foods that he was willing to eat. Heather sent me daily updates and pictures. She was very flexible with drop-off and pick-up. I will definitely book with Heather for future needs.

We can't even say enough good things about Kara. We had a medical visit and we were both so stressed about who would be able to care for our little Teddy boy who is all of 4.5 pounds and 8 months old. With that said, we found the most wonderful and best Auntie for Teddy in Kara. She sent us updates on him throughout our time away, pictures that brought such delight to us especially seeing how loved and cared for he was. When we picked Teddy up he seemed so content to just stay with his new Auntie and not come home with us, seems she was way more exciting than us lol. Teddy will definitely be taking another vacation with Aunt Kara in the near future.

It was great working with Leaha; easy to communicate and friendly interactions. Our dog had a fantastic, safe, and healthy stay with Leaha. We look forward to working with her again.

Shaunett took care of our 2 dogs for the first time this past week. She and her husband were so kind and easy to work with. They invited us to bring our dogs over for a meet and greet before we booked. Their home is as warm and inviting as they are, and their fully fenced yard is perfect for the dogs to run and explore. She asked all the right questions to get to know our girls and tried to make us all as comfortable as possible. She was flexible with our drop off and pick up times--which was wonderful given the crazy weather and our long drive. When I picked the girls up they were happy and not the least bit stressed. She kept in touch while we were away and sent great pictures. I look forward to having them stay with Shaunett and Matt again.

Serena provided a nice environment for Gunner. He received good care & plenty of exercise - he went right to sleep when we got home. Serena was very flexible in scheduling & very responsive. She sent pictures during Gunner’s stay which I appreciated. Serena is my first choice!
