This was the first time using the Rover app. I picked my sitter Gabrielle. I met her and felt comfortable having her dog sit at my house. We were gone 5 days. The dogs were well cared for and I was updated with photos and texts. My house was the way I left it. I will use this sitter again in the future. I am very satisfied with her.

Beth was exceptional with our cats. She kept in close communication while we were gone and gave regular updates. It was evident that the cats were comfortable with Beth; when we got home they showed no signs of stress or misbehavior. I would wholeheartedly recommend Beth to anyone looking for a cat sitter.

Makayla went above and beyond for us as a sitter. She accepted a rush booking and took the time to do a meet and greet before we left. We ended up with cancelled flights and she was kind enough to stay with our pets a few extra days. She sent pictures every day, kept us updated, and was very kind and professional in her communication. She took excellent care of our two dogs and two cats as well as our house while we were away. Tara was amazing! I sent her a super last minute request but she was able to make it work. She sent updates and check ins regularly and with her long life experience with dogs and puppies (which is mine)- it made me feel really comfortable leaving Oliver with her. To have someone really understand how to care for a puppy seems to be hard these days but Tara really seems like she just gets it. There’s a ton of options on this app but her service really stood out- we will definitely be using her again :)

Erica was very dependable and helpful. She took good care of our 2 furbabies! My dogs loved her. She kept us updated which was really nice and alleviated my anxiety being away from them. I have never met a sitter as efficient and skilled as she is with what she does. I am impressed and will definitely reach out to her again in the future. Jillian was amazing for your two dogs (68 lb pit bull and 100 lb Dogo Argentino). She took great care of our bully breeds and felt comfortable feeding raw food as we instructed. She provided updates every day with photos. Our dogs were sad when she had to leave. What we loved the most was peace of mind knowing someone was with our dogs the entire week we were gone. We are already planning on booking her again! You’re the best Jillian!

Yulia was a wonderful pet sitter for our senior dog and 2 cats, one of which recently had surgery. We were worried about leaving him but she kept us updated and provided excellent care and communication Would definitely use her again. Very trustworthy and has a calm, peaceful manner

Scott is wonderful. My toy poodle loved him so much she was clamoring for Scott to pick her up as he was leaving once we got home! He clearly loved the cats as well. Our fur babies were in great hands while we were gone, as was our house! We definitely plan to hire Scott again for all our pet sitting needs!

Calvin (our dog!) was really excited to see Michael when he arrived. When we returned 4 hours later, he was happy to see us, but clearly was completely relaxed about our having left him for so long. This was the first time we’ve gone out to dinner in Chicago since we adopted Calvin 9 months ago! We’ve been working on his separation anxiety, and having Michael stay with him worked just great!

WE WOULD GIVE A MILLION STARS IF WE COULD!!! We booked Stephen for the week- the longest we’ve ever been away from our two dogs. We were so anxious given our older dogs hip dysplasia, she needs a sitter that can be extra vigilant at making sure she doesn’t push it. Stephen (and Donna) were incredible. They sent us so many pictures, took them on lots of walks (we have a security camera, so we were able to confirm the walks were long and frequent!). Our neighbors even commented that the sitter seemed so great with our dogs. On another note, the house was left beautifully. The last sitter we had for a weekend (not Stephen) I spent an hour or two when we got home vacuuming, mopping the floors, cleaning paw prints off the sofas, wiping counters, etc. I didn’t mind because the dogs were safe and cared for, and I expected to come home to the same with Stephen.. and it was a complete 180! The house was ACTUALLY left in the same condition, if not a little better 😊 Thank you, Stephen and Donna!!!!

Arianna did great with Porkchop! She was punctual to his feeding times and he looked happy and healthy when we returned. We will keep her in mind for future bookings!
